My Brother Mickey didn't want his name to be included in the title in case potential employers might hear this. I don't see why they'd hesitate to hire him after listening to this. He comes across as a guy who works hard, tries to keep costs down and will literally put himself in dangerous situations just trying to get a job done. I, on the other hand, confessed to taking illegal drugs and having been ostracized in high-school. But you know what, my brother has always been cooler than me and you know what, he just did it again by joining me for my podcast and knocking it out of the god damn park just like he did with this best-man speech at our wedding. I can't believe we didn't talk about that, but it just means we'll have to have him back on the show. Enjoy!
A Reddit user described Fat Apollo thusly...Fat Apollo is the light in the darkness of every geek's soul. Fat Apollo is both the voice of reason and the voice of ridiculousness. Fat Apollo is Halifaxes one true caped crusader. Fat Apollo is... Actually a pretty solid and upstanding guy whom the geek community has sort of latched onto as a personality, and "forced meme"d him into being "Halifamous". He uses this fame mainly to raise awareness about important causes and raise money for various charitable causes. He puts himself out there to talk to people about depression and other issues, and he offers sage advice stemming from his life full of experience and his deep pool of humor. If you ever get the chance, listen to the man tell a story. "Storytime with Fat Apollo" was one of the last panels at Hal-Con (before Geeks versus Nerds, and the closing ceremonies) in 2013, the panel room was packed solid, and nobody got up disgustedly and left once he started talking. He has lived some interesting and incredible experiences, and can tell a story like no other.Fat Apollo joined Ajay Fry on stage at Hal-Con 2019 to talk about mistakes and nobody got up disgustedly and left once he started talking.twitter.com/realfatapolloinstagram.com/fat.apollo

History would call this time the Iron Blockade. Well that went well! ... right? Immediately after running her very first game as GM, Bre Poisonne ran her players through their debrief episode! How did it feel to play the bad guys for four hours? How did they enjoy the game mechanics? After every campaign concludes we record a debrief episode for our Patreon supporters. We liked this game so much, and since today is the 25th of December, we thought we would release the debrief episode of Ashes of the Empire for free for you as a preview of what to expect if you sign up as a Patreon sponsor. History would call this time the Iron Blockade. The Emperor has been assassinated -- And proof has been provided by Grand Admiral Thrawn. The regional governors fight for the scraps that remain. In the Greater Javin Area, in the Anoat Sector, hangs a planet called Nethoin. Official communications for everyone but the Empire are blocked. The people are starting to get anxious, they've begun hoarding the essentials as store shelves quickly become barren. Gang activity and smugglers are becoming brazen with alarming swiftness, as businesses and private citizens alike begin to turn to grey areas of the law in order to get food, clean water, and life-saving medications that have all but disappeared. Things are escalating quickly, and now Governor Adelhard is dead. Imperial Forces now look to Grand Admiral Thrawn who assumes command. Which is where the Terrible Warriors come in. History would call this time the Iron Blockade. The Emperor has been assassinated -- or has he? People in back alley watering holes are beginning to whisper that the Death Star really has been destroyed -- no, really, they've seen it! There's only one thing for certain; regardless of who's really dead out there in space, the civil war rages on. In the Greater Javin Area, in the Anoat Sector, hangs a planet called Nethoin.
