Despite only lasting four short years from 1930 to 1934, the pre-code era of Hollywood’s Golden Age produced films that pushed the boundaries of cinema and storytelling, even by today’s standards. Hollywood classics including King Kong (1933), Freaks (1932), and Grand Hotel (1932) all came out during this time, just before the enforcement of the Production Code in 1934. Films of the pre-code era explored themes of sexuality, outlaws, racial identity, and class disparity. In a new book released in partnership with Turner Classic Movies, film historians and creators of Pre-Code.com, share their 50 must-see movies from the pre-code era. Donald Trump had a complete meltdown during his visit to Asia after learning that everyone back home hates him. Trump apparently decided to look at his dismal poll numbers on the trip, and got on Truth Social as soon as he could to let the world know that all those poll numbers are totally fake. As usual, he didn't offer any evidence or reason as to why the media is allegedly faking his poll numbers.Health experts and doctors are sounding the alarms after Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.'s latest anti-health medical guidance. The Secretary of Health and  Human Services updated the nation's dietary guidelines and called for us to consume MORE saturated fats, in spite of the increased consumption leading to more heart disease and cardiovascular problems. The man who had part of his brain eaten by a worm seems to be actively trying to kill us as quickly as possible.The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals overturned a ruling by a 3-member panel of their court after it was brought to their attention that the federal government LIED to the panel in order to get a favorable verdict. The case involved the administration's attempt to federalize the Oregon National Guard in order to send them to Portland, and the administration had told the court that they had to deploy 25% of the nation's Federal Protective Service officers to the city in order to protect federal buildings. It turns out that the number was a complete fabrication, but that number was used to get a favorable ruling from the judicial panel. Donald Trump admitted to reporters recently that he isn't concerned about the legality of his drone strikes on boats in the Caribbean and now the Pacific, and instead just says that they're going to keep killing people. Trump's language was actually even far more blunt about how he wants these people to die. To make matters worse, an official with the administration has now admitted that most of these boats didn't even have the capacity to make it to the United States. Berly and LA tackle Supernatural Season 8, Episode 18: "Freaks and Geeks" - where teenage hunters and mysterious blue vans lead to one of the show's darkest twists.Chrissy Chambers (from "Adventures in Babysitting") returns, now part of a teenage hunting trio. After they decapitate a vampire, Sam and Dean investigate and discover surveillance footage clearly showing Chrissy at the crime scene. Dean aggressively shuts down the investigation, leaving both Sam and the delightful Louisiana-accented sheriff confused.The hosts spent considerable time debating why a vampire was running to a blue van - LA theorized he was just a "good friend" dropping his buddy off for a snack, while Berly suspected something shadier. The truth was far worse than either expected.Enter Victor Rogers, who's taken in three orphaned teenagers and trained them to be elite hunters. He runs a picture-perfect household in a gorgeous house (the hosts loved those stained glass windows), complete with homework reminders and organized routines. But something feels off about the soldier-like discipline.The dark revelation: Victor has been creating vampires specifically to murder the families of potential young hunters, then "rescuing" the orphaned kids to train them. He deliberately targeted each child and orchestrated their tragedies. The hosts were deeply disturbed by this predatory grooming disguised as mentorship.When exposed, Chrissy dramatically pulls a gun on Victor, clicks it three times (once for each family), then dumps the bullets on the floor. The hosts loved the teenage drama. Then Victor pulls an ankle gun and shoots himself in the head - the 70th blood splooge of the series. Both hosts were completely blindsided.Despite everything, Chrissy stays with Josephine and Aiden - they're her family now. Dean assigns Garth to check on them, which had the hosts yelling about why Sam and Dean can't do it themselves since they're literally in Kansas near the bunker. Autism rates have skyrocketed from 1 in 100,000 to 1 in 31, so we need to look at everything!Vaccine safety studies do not compare vaccines to placebos, they compare vaccines to other vaccines!RFK Jr. did not say that Tylenol causes autism, but that it could be a contributing factor that can influence susceptible people to develop autism. He has raised awareness of this link and has called for further research.Tylenol is used for fevers, headaches, pain, menstrual cramps, and more. Most people think it doesn't have many side effects, but it's the leading cause of acute liver failure. Over 80,000 people each year end up in the ER because of too much acetaminophen. Tylenol's active ingredient depletes glutathione and is found in over 600 medications.A fever is a natural immune reaction to an infection, and suppressing this can increase the infection's duration.There are multiple causes of autism. One involves a genetic component with the MTHFR gene, which weakens your ability to detoxify and increases your risk of a folate deficiency.Leucovorin is a synthetic folate derivative recommended for some instances of autism. This medication could be beneficial and may provide optimal results if taken with B12, B2, B6, magnesium, and zinc. One study found that between 56% and 75% of those with autism had a folate deficiency! In another trial, synthetic folate boosted IQs by 25% to 50% compared to the placebo. Independent research is needed to explore the vaccine link to autism.
