Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) and Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) express their approval of Andre and Dani's relationship, much to Andre's relief. BTG spoilers suggest things take a sudden twist when Dani abruptly cancels their trip to the west coast for the Forester Creations perfume shoot. While Andre is left in shock, viewers are left wondering what triggered Dani's sudden decision.  Spoilers for Beyond the Gates reveal Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) has a heated discussion with Leslie (Dana 'Leslie' Thomas) about Kat (Colby Muhammad) and Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson). Eva feels Kat is being unfairly judgmental, and she pleads with Leslie to stop pursuing Ted. Despite Eva's pleas, Leslie seems adamant about rekindling her relationship with Ted, leaving Eva and Jan Morgan (Jerri Tubbs) concerned about the potential repercussions. The Gates spoilers hint that Ted, on the other hand, tries to pacify Kat who believes Eva is usurping her place in their family. Despite Kat's accusations, Ted defends Eva and places the blame for the family's disarray on himself.  More BTG spoilers indicate Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) and Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) are seen packing up Derek Baldwin's (Ben Gavin) belongings, alluding to the end of Ashley and Derek's relationship. Despite only lasting four short years from 1930 to 1934, the pre-code era of Hollywood’s Golden Age produced films that pushed the boundaries of cinema and storytelling, even by today’s standards. Hollywood classics including King Kong (1933), Freaks (1932), and Grand Hotel (1932) all came out during this time, just before the enforcement of the Production Code in 1934. Films of the pre-code era explored themes of sexuality, outlaws, racial identity, and class disparity. In a new book released in partnership with Turner Classic Movies, film historians and creators of Pre-Code.com, share their 50 must-see movies from the pre-code era. Donald Trump had a complete meltdown during his visit to Asia after learning that everyone back home hates him. Trump apparently decided to look at his dismal poll numbers on the trip, and got on Truth Social as soon as he could to let the world know that all those poll numbers are totally fake. As usual, he didn't offer any evidence or reason as to why the media is allegedly faking his poll numbers.Health experts and doctors are sounding the alarms after Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.'s latest anti-health medical guidance. The Secretary of Health and  Human Services updated the nation's dietary guidelines and called for us to consume MORE saturated fats, in spite of the increased consumption leading to more heart disease and cardiovascular problems. The man who had part of his brain eaten by a worm seems to be actively trying to kill us as quickly as possible.The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals overturned a ruling by a 3-member panel of their court after it was brought to their attention that the federal government LIED to the panel in order to get a favorable verdict. The case involved the administration's attempt to federalize the Oregon National Guard in order to send them to Portland, and the administration had told the court that they had to deploy 25% of the nation's Federal Protective Service officers to the city in order to protect federal buildings. It turns out that the number was a complete fabrication, but that number was used to get a favorable ruling from the judicial panel. Donald Trump admitted to reporters recently that he isn't concerned about the legality of his drone strikes on boats in the Caribbean and now the Pacific, and instead just says that they're going to keep killing people. Trump's language was actually even far more blunt about how he wants these people to die. To make matters worse, an official with the administration has now admitted that most of these boats didn't even have the capacity to make it to the United States.
