This episode the women talk about what to do when you notice you're falling out of your spiritual practice or self care routine, or what to do when you're in a phase where you have less time for yourself. Andi talks about finding the little moments of gratitude throughout each day and practicing becoming mindful of those smaller, but important moments. Cally's quote of the episode is, "pain is inevitable, suffering is an option," and speaks on some of her breath work training and mentions a couple different exercises you can do easily at home to find calmness through breath. The girls talk about being afraid of vulnerability and why society has such a stigma with showing emotions and feelings. They talk about coming home to themselves and why it's important to slow down and live in moment. Mar talks about her daily practice with manifestations and why they are sometimes more important during certain times and phases in life. She brings up the 8 manifestations of ego, setting intentions, and the girls elaborate on how each individual person requires unique maintenance and how finding your own routines and practices is really what healing and growing are all about. They finish up with talking about "seasons of spirituality," utilizing downtime to prepare for the busy times, and prioritizing what is necessary. The girls reiterate the importance of allowing grace, letting go of judgment, and they bring up the importance of not taking themselves so seriously. As always, there is a call to action for you as the listener at the end of the episode. Andddddd if you listen all the way to the last second, you'll get to hear a goofy ass behind the scenes blooper of Andi losing her mind from exhaustion while Mar and Cally make fun of her. LOL WE LOVE YOU. Thank you for being apart of this journey. xoxo --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/solwomen/support

It's that most wonderful time of the year again as cinephiles across the globe turn to the Golden Globes to retroactively dictate our tastes in film for 2018. Andddddd it looks like those of you who loved BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY (except for you Elsie Fisher) and GREEN BOOK were right in 2018 while every other moviegoer was a stupid asshole. The two stupid assholes on this podcast Michael Denniston and Andrew Peirce give their predictions on what to expect at the upcoming Oscars and if it even matters for the film industry. If that sounds a bit depressing let us recommend two other movie podcasts who are covering this awards season in THE BIG PICTURE and THE AWARDIST.
