Happy New Year and welcome to Season 5 of the podcast! In thinking of how she wanted to begin Season 5, it was a no brainer for Jill Devine. She invited Meg Tortorello and Holly Murer, AKA “The Messy Mommies in the City”, to kick off the latest season. Holly and Meg started supporting Jill during Season 2 when they heard Episode 20: Cat & Nat, The Hilarious Ladies Behind #MOMTRUTHS. The Messy Mommies in the City are a group of longtime friends and family that love bringing girlfriends together to laugh, share, and find the joy in the messiness of life. Meg Tortorello, Holly Murer, Brooke Kelley, Kim Bertino, and Sandhya Nair love to share about cooking in the kitchen, adventures with their children, and juggling their careers. The Messy Mommies love how Jill supports small businesses and amazing entrepreneurs! The Messy Mommies love Candyality in Chicago. Terese McDonald, the founder of Candyality created a sweet candy shop that was voted best candy shop in IL by the Food Network Magazine! This delicious shop ships amazing treats! The Messy Mommies also love the amazing community builder Sadie Smith-West and small business owner of Posh West Boutique! Sadie has an autistic son and created Posh West as a place she could bring her son. She has wonderful clothes and gifts. The Messy Mommies love to cook and love that Jill is also sharing recipes on her blog! Check out Holly's amazing cookbook, Together: Recipes to Bring Family and Friends to the Table. The Messy Mommies love toasting with girlfriends on making it through the crazy 2020 and to celebrate each other. It can be a thankless job at times, and Jill wants these moms to know their worth, so she created the Supermom Shoutout. This week’s Supermom Shoutout goes to Rachel of O’Fallon, MO! Wendi nominated her and said: Rachel is my daughter’s teacher and she’s amazing! She’s been a teacher for almost 20 years. She’s married and has 3 daughters and 2 dogs. In addition, she’s a coach for the Varsity dance team. Rachel is a true Supermom! She’s the best teacher we’ve had. She created a 2-week plan for our daughter because there was a positive exposure to COVID on the bus. She really is one of the best! Rachel – YOU are seen and YOU are supported! To nominate a Supermom (or you can nominate yourself) email hello@jilldevine.com. Submit the name of the Supermom, where they're from, and a brief description as to why Jill should shout out this particular Supermom. Todays guest is Brooke Kelley, the creative director for Bevy and Brine. Brook is an artist and Bevy and Brine is her freelance art movement that she runs, specializing in murals, custom art, prints, clothes...the list goes on and on. Her work is also available on Etsy. Brookes whole approach to art is a breath of fresh air. Her art draws inspiration from all things vibrating with color and fun. She sees things in a way that makes her art come alive in a joyous, silly and functional way. I had the pleasure of working with Brooke at a stable job with benefits. Brooke felt in her heart that the job wasn't right. She trusted her gut and left the job... a move that guided her in believing there was something more out there... out there in the great unknown of being an independent professional artist. She took the leap, and these days she's staying true to her heart while having fun. She started doing murals and small signs for weddings...then making cool prints and getting them into all the hip local coffee shops in town, like the "Zebra House". She started doing all the street fairs and farmers markets. Hosting water color art parties using natural colors from fruits and vegtables ( something she had been doing since she was a little kid). She started playing with surfboard resin, photos and flowers. Her art knows no end. She just completed making these killer bucket hats... each one unique, colorful and groovy. Brooke draws inspiration from her childhood where she grew up by Ozark Lake in Missouri. Brooke has had lots of ups and downs and art has come in and out of her life. Brooke has always got a huge smile on her face and it was great to see that smile again. We met up at "The Point" at San Onofre Surfing Beach, under some epic afternoon cloud cover sunset light Razzmatazz! Please enjoy my conversation with the artistic creative director behind Bevy and Brine....Ms. Brooke Kelley. Music: Slow Roll - Tommy Guerrero Drop - Gala Drop Mustard Mustang - LA Qoolside
In this special episode, Todd interviewed PuZzLeD reality TV star Brooke Kelley a.k.a. The Truth Fairy for 60 minutes to discuss her involvement with the DC We Are Change event on September 11, 2010, NYPD's refusal to issue permits to We Are Change protesters for a megaphone, her recent move to New Hampshire under the Free State Project, her message to Ernie Hancock on Facebook about We Are Change in New York, her recent encounter with internationally-known adult film legend Ron Jeremy, pro-Liberty film and music projects in the movement, her upcoming website and other projects, and why she believes that the Ron Paul Revolution is dead and will not come back.[Note: This is a great hour-long interview that we've had, even though we've only had one caller who asked Brooke Kelley a question. Other than that, the show was quite exciting. Brooke is a trooper on the air, and it was a pleasure having her with me today.]

In this fourteenth episode, Todd and his panelists LewRockwell.comcolumnist, blogger, law expert, and Frostburg State University economics professor Bill L. Anderson, voluntaryist/left-market anarchist, Free Dissent blogger, and Benjamin Ricketson Tucker Institute Senior Fellow Nick Ford, and libertarian/propertarian Jim Davidson discussed a Michigan mom being sentenced to nine to 30 years for having sex with her 14-year-old biological son, not-so-libertarian sci-fi author L. Neil Smith's war with Ian Freeman, Free Talk Live, and the newly-formed Shire Society over his intellectual property, BP's oil cap leaking, Arizona groups readying to go to court over the state's recently-passed S.B. 1070 law, Arizona Governor Janet Brewer sending Arizona's stimulus money to the border to fight "illegal immigration," Obama praising Elena Kagan's "bi-partisan" confirmation, and Prince declaring the Internet "over."[*Special Note: LCTL:SpecialEdition, which was originally canceled on Friday, is no longer officially canceled. It has been renewed for a third season, beginning next year.][*Note: For some unexplained reason, Brooke Kelley didn't bother to show up. I don't know why, but I hope to find out later. Thus, Jim Davidson called in surprisingly to take over her guest panel seat. Other than that, it was an awesome show! Kudos to Bill, Nick, Nick's friend Mike, Corey Moore, and Jim Davidson for making tonight's show an enormous success!]
