Merry Christmas! God bless us, everyone! With Christmas approaching we wanted to share a fun and light-hearted Christmas episode with you. Our host Sarah Schalow is once again joined by her friends (and co-workers) Manny Hernandez and Daniel Calderón to share their favorite Christmas stories and play a Christmas story version of the game Balderdash. Daniel and Manny both take some time at the top of the episode to share their favorite Christmas stories - which end up actually being a song and a movie. Shortly before recording, Sarah and her husband Ryan (we wish he could've joined for this episode!) searched the internet looking for lesser-known published Christmas books and stories and then created their own descriptions of fake Christmas books to mix in. Daniel and Manny are presented with the descriptions and have to make a guess as to which stories are real and which were written by Sarah and Ryan. With just 12 days left until Christmas we hope that this episode makes you laugh and lifts your spirits! We would love to see you at one of our five Christmas Eve services happening! Labeled: "The Stories, Rumors, & Legends of Tooth & Nail Records"
Capital Lights came along in the peak of Tooth & Nail's power and influence. Oddly, in this period there there are many bands who seemed to have everything going for them and were musically outstanding, yet their full potential was never realized. Bryson Phillips is a a truly gifted singer and songwriter that has been praised by both Brandon Ebel & Aaron Sprinkle over the years. I have had no personal experience with him though, so I really enjoyed getting to hear his perspective of the time he spent in the scene. I'm sure you will too!
