Areál Dolních Vítkovic čtyřikrát po sobě zaplnily desetitisíce lidí, aby si užily koncerty hvězd, jako jsou Moby, LP, Teddy Swims nebo Twenty One Pilots.
Hour 1: It's a brand new day! Other Sarah is already off to a rough start thanks to a mascara incident. Could it be karma for stealing makeup as a teen? Spoiler Alert: Argentina pulled out the W at the last second. Grab you Purin tablets and settle in. It's time for Bob's Movie Club! Today, we're talking about Robin Williams and Nathan Lane in ‘The Birdcage.' Could this movie be made today? Maybe not, but we're happy it exists nonetheless. One of the children from Jon & Kate Plus 8 is coming back to reality TV. Is it right to put your kids on your TV show? A bunch of D list celebrities are joining Jaleel White (Urkel) for a new HGTV show. Vinnie deleted his data, per Scott Budman's recommendation. Check out privacy.ca.gov if you're interested! A follow up on the tragic boat accident in the San Francisco Bay on Tuesday. Hour 2: Trade snakes for free pizza! In Florida (of course). Speaking of terrifying wild animals, kangaroos have lots of secrets, and Bob has a hot take about sharks. Other Sarah followed her childhood dreams to Australia. The math on the World Cup halftime show is not adding up. There's always controversy in sports, but this complaint about the team doctor is a new one. What's the deal with this lettuce scandal? Taco Bell refuses to take the blame. Utah has banned multiple Stephen King books. Vinnie's telling us some of the best places to live. Hour 3: Matt Damon is proud of his FOUR daughters. Good thing they didn't know Vinnie as a teen. Check out Matty and Bob this Saturday morning for a good cause at Mirastar Federal Credit Union in San Jose. The fittest cities in the country might surprise you. A wild photo of Messi with a baby is going viral. Don't worry, it's not weird -it's destiny. Tom Cruise, Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Hudson are joining the World Cup Final celebration! In good news today, a dog retired from Disneyland, and a GoFundMe is helping an elderly man retire. Hour 4: It might be time to take a trip to Chicago - for Riot Fest 2026! Twenty One Pilots, Hayley Williams, and… William Shatner?? It turns out Anthony Hopkins is a secret musician as well. Humanoid robots are doing surgery. Let's eat some headlines. The Gilmore Girls house is for sale! Ariana Grande got some good PR with her Harry Potter impressions this week. Matty and Bob can't belive the lack of respect for La La Land around here.

After nearly 16 years at Atlantic Records (the last six as President of A&R) Pete Ganbarg has a clearer view than almost anyone of what separates artists who break through from artists who don't. In this conversation, he shares what that view looks like in 2026, when the barrier to entry for releasing music has collapsed and the bar for being heard has never been higher. Pete unpacks the working principles behind a career that includes A&R credits on Santana's Supernatural, the Hamilton cast album, and Twenty One Pilots, plus publishing credits on Miley Cyrus's "Flowers" and Alex Warren's "Ordinary." But the substance of this conversation isn't the credit list — it's what he's learned to listen for, what he tells his students at Berklee and NYU, and what he wishes more independent artists understood about the work. Topics covered in this conversation include: the "megaphone" mindset behind major-label promotion, the hard math of who makes it and who doesn't, the only opinion that matters in music, A&R'ing yourself when no executive will, and more. Pete Ganbarg is CEO of Pure Tone Music and host of Rock School Podcast. On today's Metal Breakdown Daily, host Scott Penfold dives into a historic moment for the Prince of Darkness and a disappointing night for heavy music at the AMAs. The Congress of Darkness: In a rare display of bipartisan rock appreciation, the life and legacy of Ozzy Osbourne was officially entered into the U.S. Congressional Record by Representative Victoria Spartz. We break down the tribute to Ozzy's "working-class hero" status and why the U.S. government is officially adopting Jack Osbourne as an honorary "Hoosier." AMA Snub Season: The 2026 American Music Awards took place last night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and the results have metal fans scratching their heads. Despite massive years from Linkin Park, Sleep Token, and Deftones, the rock categories were swept by pop-rockers Twenty One Pilots and breakthrough artist sombr. We discuss why the mainstream industry continues to overlook metal's massive chart and touring dominance. Wherever They May Roam: Knocked Loose are conquering Europe alongside Metallica and Gojira, and they're taking fans behind the scenes. We check out their new web series documenting their largest tour to date, from headlining club shows to massive stadium stages in Berlin and Zurich. In This Episode: Ozzy Osbourne: A deep dive into the Congressional Record tribute. AMAs 2026: A full breakdown of the Rock/Alternative winners and snubs. Knocked Loose: Details on the new "Wherever We May Roam" tour diary. Tour Updates: Metallica and Gojira's massive European summer run. Independent musicians with loyal fanbases are leaving significant revenue on the table by treating physical products as afterthoughts. Vinyl, CDs, and cassettes aren't nostalgia plays—they're strategic revenue channels when approached with the same rigor labels apply to streaming campaigns. Thom Skarzynski is the founder of Happiness Marketing, a physical-first music strategy consultancy. Tom has twenty years of industry experience, including roles at Epic Records, Spotify, and Atlantic Music Group. He helped deliver campaigns like the one supporting the Twenty One Pilots' album Clancy, which sold 143,000 units in its first week (streaming alone would have generated ~28K). The following year, Thome helped their album Breach sell nearly 170,000 physical units out of 200,000 total first-week sales. In this conversation, Thom breaks down the economics of physical products at an independent scale, how to forecast demand, manage manufacturing risk, price strategically, and design packaging that fans actually want to own. He explains why direct-to-consumer isn't just a transactional layer but an operating system for fandom, and why shipping generic packages with no personal touch leaves both money and loyalty on the table. How Artists Helped Camouflage The MilitaryCamouflage wasn't just engineered. It was designed. From World War I “dazzle ships” to today's complex digital patterns, We trace how creative artists reshaped the look of warfare and changed the way the military thinks about perception, illusion and survival.Guest: Roy R. We speak with financial psychologist Blad Klontz to understand how financial support - even when rooted in good intentions - can blur boundaries, strain relationships and create a long-term cycle that's harder to break than most parents expect. Guests: Brad Klontz, financial psychologist, co-author of Start Thinking Rich.Host: Marty PetersonProducer: Polly Hansen Viewpoints Explained: The Showdown At The Federal ReserveWhen presidents clash with the Federal Reserve, it's more than political theater, but a test of how independent the nation's central bank really is. And then it's, like, the coolest thing you've ever f***ing heard.Brian and Lizzie dive into the cultural impact and musical complexity of Twenty One Pilots' 2015 masterpiece, Blurryface. They explore the album's guerrilla marketing leak, its consortium of A-list producers, and its lasting influence on the pop landscape. Was Blurryface the biggest record to emerge from the 2010s emo scene? Brian and Lizzie investigate the monumental impact of Twenty One Pilots' 2015 genre-defying album. They discuss the duo's Ohio roots, their place in Fueled by Ramen's emo history, and the album's unique production, which brought together producers from hip hop, pop, and indie rock. The hosts explore the strategic album leak, the creation of the 'Blurryface' character to personify insecurity and mental health struggles, and how the record smuggled alternative art into the mainstream. Featuring in-depth analysis of landmark tracks like the billion-stream hit "Stressed Out," the reggae-infused "Ride," and the fan-favorite "Tear In My Heart," this episode debates whether the album's pop punk adjacency and massive success cement its place as one of the best emo albums of all time. "This is very much a radio sounding record, although the music and the songwriting is not super radio friendly.""By wrapping a high concept album about depression and insecurity in glossy pop production, Twenty One Pilots smuggled alternative art into the mainstream.""I wasn't raised in the hood, but I know a thing or two about pain and darkness. And it's like, I don't think that you need to say that in a rap song."
