Matt's back in action! His last guide was for a fast faction that doesn't always have a way to close out games. This time, to shake things up, he's going with a fast faction that doesn't always have a way to close out games! It's the Ghosts of Creuss and actually they're maybe a little bit better than Cabal but that's just because you get more blue tech, probably... Music provided by Ben Prunty. We're tackling some bottom tier factions today, which means it's time to let loose a little and have fun. You're probably not finding a win with these factions most games ANYWAYS, but how can you still have a decent time? Well, we'll question what it means to play ethically and I'm sure you won't be surprised which of us believes ethical play is important and which doesn't. Let's call this one "the episode where all of the die hard faction fans will get mad at us." Music provided by Ben Prunty. To find healing and connection in our lives, we need to be vulnerable. But doesn't that mean opening yourself up to attack and harm? Not necessarily. Vulnerability does not mean you have to share everything with everyone. In this episode Erin joins her friend Karen Cruess, founder of Two Hearts for H.E.R. counseling for women, to explore what healthy vulnerability looks like. GET THE DAILY SEVEN JOURNAL! We’re nearing the end of these base game Strategy Guides. Five years after the release of 3rd Edition, FFG released the Shards of the Throne expansion and included three new factions. Among those was what would quickly become one of the most beloved factions of the entire game, the Ghosts of Creuss. The Ghosts are so cool and interesting, they are TI4 designer Dane Beltrami’s favorite faction. Anyways...here’s a guide we threw together. We think it’s pretty good. 4:05 - Abilities and Starting Units/Tech 16:30 - First Round Strategy Cards 42:13 - Problems 45:08 - Tech Paths 57:30 - Trading and Meta 1:08:50 - Mid-Game 1:15:11 - Late Game 1:22:07 - Muaat Strategy Guide Errata 1:35:38 - Agenda: Nexus Sovereignty and Vuil’Raith Cabal Agent: The Stillness of Stars Music provided by Ben Prunty. Armed with knowledge from the Creuss, a slew of unexpected allies, and a resolve to do whatever it takes, the crew of the Renegade are ready to make their stand against the Virus. A few things are still needed, however. Kattix finds his son's birthplace. QB mourns. Zero visits a grave. Bug discovers his father's legacy. (Produced by Nathaniel Keefer while Richard is on sabbatical)

Fala Povo! And you thought we couldn't work any slower. It's time to start talking about the Emirates of Hacan, but there is a lot to break down with the Space Cats, so we had to split it into two separate conversations. Consider this Part One of the Hacan First Round Strategy guide, and it's entirely about relationships and trade. Before we could get into what are solid strategies with Hacan, we had to discuss how you interact with other players, because it is entirely different from other factions and also much more crucial to the success of your game. So let's figure this out together! And then, let's errata the Ghosts of Creuss, what do you say? Music provided by Ben Prunty. Find more at benpruntymusic.com or benprunty.bandcamp.com
Don't get spooked! We're talking about friendly ghosts today, or at the very least highly encouraging you to be a friendly ghost. The Ghosts of Creuss have some struggles, but when overcome, they can be a very powerful faction. So let's find out how best to avoid failure! After that, we errata the heck out of some L1z1x Mindnet talk. Music provided by Ben Prunty. Find more at benpruntymusic.com or benprunty.bandcamp.com
On the Finale to the pre-release overview series, Matt Martens and Hunter Donaldson cover the Trade strategy card and all the ways the new trading system excites them. After a lot of open-ended discussion, they finally wrap up their race introductions with a return to Xxcha Kingdom, Ghosts of Creuss, Clan of Saar, as well as introductions for Mentak Coalition and THE space cats, the Emirates of Hacan. And to top off an already long episode, this one closes with errata centered around our Technology episode.
This episode covers the basics of Twilight Imperium 4th Edition. Matt Martens and Hunter Donaldson go over the galaxy and movement, the Leadership & Diplomacy Strategy Cards, and the following races: Federation of Sol, Ghosts of Creuss, Naalu Collective, and The Xxcha Kingdom.
