They are fully initiated members of both the Cult Mechanicus and their Chapter.Prospective Techmarines are chosen from the ranks of the Space Marine Chapters for their affinity with technology. They learn how to divine the runes of engineering and study the liturgy of maintenance. This great body of lore must be committed to memory and understood by the novice Techmarine. They are taught how to "feel" the pain of a damaged machine and heal it. When they come back they serve the same role in their Chapter as a Tech-priest Enginseer in the Astra Militarum. Without the passing on of such ancient lore, the Space Marines would eventually grind to a complete halt, unable to make war. Thus does every Chapter's might hinge upon the esoteric knowledge of its Techmarines. Support the show

You can read it though, just a summary of the banger of a video you're watching.Welcome to a deep dive into Warhammer 40k's most catastrophic and foundational event—the Age of Strife, also known as Old Night. This era marks the single worst period in human history, a time of isolation, mutation, rampant AI revolts, and the chaos that shaped the Imperium we know today. In this video, we'll explore how humanity fell from a golden age of technological marvels and galactic dominance to a scattered and fractured existence, barely surviving on a crumbling legacy.Join us as we dissect the Age of Strife from its origins in M25, through the devastating Cybernetic Revolt, the rise of rampant mutation and psykers, and the oppressive Warp storms that cut humanity off from the stars. We'll explore how the birth of Slaanesh forever altered the balance of Chaos and how Terra itself descended into warlordism, with techno-barbarians ruling the remnants of once-great civilizations. We'll also look at Mars and the birth of the Cult Mechanicus, the tragic isolation of human colonies, and how the Imperium's deep-seated fear of AI, mutants, and psykers stem from this dark period. Whether you're curious about the downfall of mankind, the influence of the Chaos Gods, or the Emperor's eventual rise to power, this video covers it all!Don't forget to like, subscribe, and check out Patreon.com/isyanderandkoda for bonus content, livestreams, and access to our community. They are one of the few tolerated forms of robotics in the Imperium as they are simply surgically enhanced cyborgs, not true artificial intelligence. While many are vat-grown, often a criminal, particularly one who has offended the Cult Mechanicus, will be sentenced to "Servitude Imperpituis" and will be handed over to the Tech-priests to be mind-wiped, reprogrammed, and cybernetically-enhanced to serve some specific, rudimentary function.Support the show

Titans are always considered the largest and most powerful types of war engines available to the different factions of the galaxy.Titans are the most sacred war machines of the Adeptus Mechanicus and they are thought by the Cult Mechanicus to be the greatest physical embodiments of the Machine God in the material universe, rightly called "god-machines" and "god-engines" by the Tech-priests.Support the show
In this episode, we talk about the Cult Mechanicus, part two of our podcast about the armies of the Mechanicum or Omnissiah. If you have ever thought of running Cult Mechanicus or a War Convocation, or play against them, this is the podcast for you. We talk about the story and background of the Cult Mechanicus, the models and aesthetics, how the different units function in the game, and how they work on the table. Finally, we discuss the War Convocation, a great mixture of Cult Mechanicus and Skitarii. The post Episode 37: Cult Mechanicus appeared first on TheBattlehosts.
Jay and Andrew feel a chaotic presence growing within them, which should help distract from the poor decisions they've made this past month. In the Brown Library, we take a look at a rarely seen Cult Mechanicus unit and try to find a way to get the most out of their Motive Force. Seizes of the Month: Jay: If you've got the relic, don't drop it for no reason. Andrew: If you're not sure about a model's rule, just ask Brown Library: We look to the classic rivalry of the Corpuscarii and the Fulgurite to find a winning combination and some really cool fluff. This week on the podcast we continue to tackle the deluge of releases with the second part of the AdMech faction: Cult Mechanicus!Following the awesome Skitarii book which introduced the foot troops of the AdMech, Cult Mechanicus introduces even more weird and wonderful units to the game such as the Kataphron battle servitors, Electro priests and Kastelan robots as well as the Ad Mech's first and only HQ choice; the Priest Dominus. We talk through the power level of these units and how they can be implemented into a competitive force. We also attempt (and fail) to look at the controversial War Convocation formation and briefly discuss what the idea of 'more free shit' can mean for competitive play.Matt Robertson spoke to Adam Ryland about his experience at the Birmingham Gaming Expo where he finally succumbed to the dark side and took Eldar (Ironic saying that given his storied history as a Daemon player!) Hear all about Adam's experiences at the event as also his impressions as a fresh new player to the faction using Eldar in a competitive setting for the first time.I also want to remind you guys about all the stuff we are working on, most notably the Allies Of Convenience Grand Tournament that will be taking playing in Warrington on November the 7th and 8th. Tickets are yet to go on sale for this but we want you to pencil it in to your diaries as they will be made available shortly. Please check us out on Facebook! http://facebook.com/AOCpodcast We love hearing from you guys with feedback on the show, questions regarding competitive play and also tips on forthcoming events we can promote on the podcast.Featuring Alex Rae, Matt Robertson, Mike Collins, Jesse Newton & Adam Ryland TIME STAMPS:00.00:00 Start00.03:58 Cult Mechanicus 02.13:22 Birmingham Gaming Expo report
