Daemon's trip to the Vale results in more than collecting gold from Lady Arryn. Corlys shifts some of his responsibilities in order to put distance between himself and the Queen. The Hightower host in Tumbleton causes tension and places a particular family in harm's way. Aegon's pride continues to place him and Larys in unnecessary danger. Ormund makes a bold declaration regarding the Throne.

House of the Dragon ends on its most brutal image yet — Chanel, Sharmane and Brandon recap an episode where the walls literally close in.

After two huge first episodes, it looks like the focus will shift somewhat to the Red Keep, as most of the trailer seems to focus there as Queen Rhaenyra's rule begins. It was a difficult time in the books and appears to be the case here. But there's also an apparent parlay between Daemon and Lord Ormund!
