Round 2.5 with Chris Pappas of Elle Belle! This might be the longest episode so far, clocked in at around 4hrs, so I cut it in half for everyone's sanity. We get deep into the state of the world, civilization in general, and of course the new record. The forthcoming album, How Do I Feel?, is out 9/1 via Little Record Company. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/sketchedsounds/message

Christopher Pappas comes from a musical family in Auburn, New Hampshire. After getting a taste of local celebrity by opening for his dad's band in his early teens, he knew that finding a career in performing was what he wanted to do.After establishing the act Elle Belle in 2013, he released a handful of records, always expanding on his never-ending search for new sounds. On November 13, 2020, he'll release the album Post Everything. Recorded mostly live with a full band, he hopes it will capture the soundscapes of this moment in time.In this episode, we talk about this new album, his beautiful song "WKND," and how his personal "Big 3" of grunge influenced him.https://www.littlerecordcompany.com/ellebellehttps://www.songfacts.com/https://www.facebook.com/songfactshttps://twitter.com/Songfactshttp://pantheonpodcasts.com/https://twitter.com/pantheonpodsHosted and Edited by Corey O'Flanaganhttps://twitter.com/ofe1818https://www.instagram.com/coreyofe/This show is part of Pantheon Podcasts.

Elle Belle returns with 'Post Everything'! I joined musician and songwriter Chris Pappas at his home studio in Los Angeles to catch up on music, his work and the insane goings-on around the world.
Happy Friday everyone. I wanted to give my thoughts on 20.5 before y'all take it on tonight as well as some brief thoughts on the Open as a whole from the perspective of the affiliate. I also wanted to encourage y'all to come out to Hammer & Chisel at Atomic CrossFit to cheer on Summer & Steph, Angie & Morgan, Manny & Adrian, and Hunter & myself. The comp starts around 9:30am and will be done or at least have the "final WOD" (only one division) by 2pm. Short and sweet. You know we appreciate that (Keep it simple stupid). Finally, I leave y'all with my most recent mental exercise/struggle. One mistake does not have to lead to EVERYTHING being wrong. Though it certainly may feel like that. I talk about one mistake that has forced this business into an unsustainable position and how, on the tough days, that can mean I feel like it is all a waste of time. But this mistake (made twice in the last 5 years) is able to be remedied and, therefore, not worth dwelling on. Learn and move forward. Y'all are awesome. I look forward to getting more content out to y'all in the coming weeks including a sit down with one of our newest one year anniversary athletes, Elle Belle herself!

017. Los Angeles producer and songwriter Elle Belle joins us to perform some of his songs on acoustic guitar and voice. We talk developing a character and what can be liberating and confining about that, crafting the perfect jingle, whether to cast a wide net or not when songwriting and shaking shit loose. All that plus a surprise guest appearance from Misty Boyce! Hear more from Elle Belle at http://www.ellebellemusic.com
This week Jo and the Monkey (Jordan) sit down with highly intriguing Elle Belle to discuss rock and roll and the power of persona. (And much more!)
