In Session One of MVMT WKND, we zoomed out and looked at the big story of the Bible. We talked about how God brings deliverance out of our dysfunction and how He has always used imperfect people to accomplish His perfect plan. No matter your past or your struggles, God isn't surprised by your story. Ultimately, we were reminded that true identity is found in Jesus — not in being the hero of our own story, but in recognizing that He already is.

In Session Two of MVMT WKND, we leaned into what happens when we truly believe God's Word. We talked about how authentic faith produces authentic change and how Scripture isn't meant to comfort our old life — it's meant to disrupt it. We also unpacked how our enemy is deceptive, but God's truth is transforming. When we know the Word and walk in it, it changes everything.

During our MVMT WKND breakout sessions, students had the opportunity to go deeper in understanding and engaging with the Bible. We walked students through how to read the Bible devotionally — not just for information, but for transformation — giving practical tools to help them consistently spend time with God's Word. Each session equipped students with practical tools to not only read the Bible, but to understand it and build their lives on it.

A late TD pass from QB Matthew Stafford with just 0:38 left led LA to a thrilling 34-31 victory in the playoff opener. Which also led to a spirited debate about how the NFL does their playoff seeding, etc. Next up, we go to Philly where the seemingly impossibly under-manned 49ers took out the defending Champs, 23-19 in a game that featured even more injuries for San Fran, and some sidelines fireworks between Eagles HC Nick Sirianni and star WR AJ Brown. Brown ended up with a couple of key drops in the game. Who's to blame for the fizzle out in Philly? Justin has plenty of answers and suggestions for the Eagles heading into next season.Then it's onto Chris's Packers & their historic collapse against arch-rivals the Chicago Bears on Saturday night. Green Bay dominated the first half and raced out to a 21-3 halftime lead, but the second half completely flipped the script as Chicago took advantage of a suddenly sluggish & inept Packers offense to start the 2nd half. GB missed several key kicks in the game as well, and it all added up to magical rally for the Bears. The fellas give you their take and Chris offers up his take on whether he believes LaFleur is the longterm answer.Then it's onto the AFC where the Bills and upstart Jaguars delivered one heck of performance, but of course, it was the reigning MVP in Josh Allen that got the last laugh in a thrilling 24-20 Buffalo victory. Jacksonville has laid the foundation for the future. Now, can the Bills continue this run all the way to the Super Bowl?
