Mairi's vanquished her invisible stalker but another threat is just around the corner. Our rogue heroine cuts a deal with a magical being, seeks the blessing of a goddess, and acquires something that is just plain cool to dorks like us.
A tower in the middle of nowhere is the last place Mairi expected to find other Waterdhavians, let alone the body guards of her old flame, Renaer Neverember. Though wary of the so-called Feathergale Society, Mairi sits down to join them for a feast.
After the trouble on The Stone Bridge yesterday, Mairi safely escorts the refugees to Red Larch. She was intending to be a day tripper, but something about Mairi prompts a girl to ask her for help. But that's just a day in the life of an adventurer. She grabs some lunch, takes the long and winding road back into the sumber hills. Will she ever get back to Waterdeep?
The Glorious battle the creatures and mysteries of Feathergale Spire and its surrounds, uncovering more clues as they do. Their business at the tower concluded, they follow the grisly message left by the Howling Hatred, in the hopes of tracking the cult down before it's too late. Cast: Kathryn as Erallur, Edward as Flint, Matthew as Helagon, Adam as Thelios and Michael as The Dungeon Master.

Our intrepid adventurers return to Feathergale Spire to settle a score (technically they wanted to go explore the tunnels beneath the fire cult area but noooo, the DM didn't want to kill them all). Upon re-entering the Spire, they set the mounts of the knight free (fly free noble Chestnut), set a fire, played "race the fire" to the top of the tower and battled Merosska (if it could really be called a battle) before making their various epic escapes from the burning tower. Also, to answer the question from the episode title: No. No they cannot.
Our band of merry adventurers decide to head back to Feathergale Spire after determining that there is something rotten in the state of Denmark....er um Faerun and decide to camp crash a group of water cultists. Pellan spews some kumbaya nonsense and the party doesn't slaughter everything in sight (the murder dog was taking a nap). After chatting and singing campfire songs with the surviving mercenaries, the party then decided to head to Rivergard Keep to deal with the water cult's plundering of the countryside (see they do hero-y things sometimes). We all also learn a little something about the kind of man....plant....whatever Pellan is.

The party meets the fancy Feathergale Society, rides hippogriffs to hunt a manticore, choreographs an action movie, finds a high level area, and has a deadly encounter with jackalweres. Someone dies. But who!?!?!? See our blog for full notes and commentary: http://ggnorecast.blogspot.com/2015/05/episode-3-jackalweres-are-serious-thing.html. Corrections: the adventure does in passing mention the history of Feathergale Spire and the other haunted keeps (page 5 and 33, column 2). Rules discussions of interest: how warlock spell slots interact with spells and slots from other classes on a multiclass character. Apologies: sorry about the chair squeaking. We've since learned to use wooden chairs.
