M. Elizabeth Hughes is a freelance film producer who grew up in south Georgia. After graduating from magna cum laude from Wesleyan College, she moved to Orange County and earned her M.F.A. in Film and Television Producing from Chapman University. Since then, she has made her career producing a wide variety of films and series with various filmmakers and financiers. She co-produced one of my favorite all time movies, SHORT TERM 12. She’s produced many studio features such as GIRLFRIEND’S DAY written by and starring Bob Odenkirk and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY starring Ben Schwartz and Noël Wells. Most recently, she produced the Amazon docuseries, LORENA, which reframes the infamous story surrounding Lorena Bobbit. During our chat, we take an unfiltered look into the challenges of working in physical production, the magic of making SHORT TERM 12, and reflect on the choices that got her to where she is today.

Bob Odenkirk is best known to most as the sleazy lawyer on the hit series "Breaking Bad" and its spin-off "Better Call Saul." Now with an all new season of 'Saul' underway, Odenkirk sat down with Peter Travers and spilled the beans on some "Bad" characters that might be making a comeback. He also talks about why his new movie was 15 years in the making. Like what we're doing?
