Paul starts out the interview with a question from Kroyler Gracie that immediately puts Morgan on edge. We talk a bit about the circumstances behind why Morgan wanted to compete on the other side of the country. Erik and Morgan talk about their experience training at the Gracie Academy and the people they got to meet. Morgan tries to be humble about winning gold but the boys and Erik won’t let her. Paul isn’t sure how to pronounce Rose if it’s a Brazilian name... Morgan and Erik talk about creepily stalking Eddie Bravo trying to get a picture. We are basically just inappropriate the entire show. So enjoy that. Go buy Tap Tape from the "stuff we like section" on grapplingdads.com or you know, just go to Amazon and get it there... The boys open the show discussing "can opener" guard passing. For sure don’t do that! They dive into the fact that their friends and training partners flew out to the Gracie Nationals in California where Morgan won gold in no-gi! Our other teammates Ben and Ryan competed in Lansing with a lot of support with them from our gym. Paul tries to help out a couple women at the gym get smashed by others a bit more gracefully. Everyone wants to learn how to do things to others but rarely want to learn how to keep it from being done to themselves. Did Paul say he wants a little penis music??? They boys bust Kroyler’s balls some more for not answering their questions from the previous podcast, and also not sending a Kroyler’s Corner. The boys get corrected about their idea that it typically takes two years in between belts. Of course kipperdoodles and Paul don’t agree on how much they should mean to you. Kip gives Proud White Belt BJJ a shout-out for being awesome at what they do. Definitely follow them on Instagram and show support! Do you get more out of rolling hard or keeping it playful? Check out our website and follow us on the socials.
