Clinton is joined by trailblazing MMA fighter Bec Rawlings, who stars in the acclaimed documentary "Fight to Live," honored as the Best Inspirational Film at the 2023 Cannes World Film Festival. "Fight to Live" offers an intimate portrayal of Rawlings' life, from her troubled childhood to her rise as a champion fighter, devoted mother, and outspoken advocate against domestic violence. Horrific statistics show Australian domestic violence cases surging (a 28% increase in women killed by partners last year). In this climate, Bec's gripping story is important to be heard.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Combat sports champion Bec Rawlings and director Tom Haramis join Matthew Pejkovic on the Matt's Movie Reviews Podcast to talk about their new film 'Fight to Live', a documentary that delves into the inspiring true story of Australian MMA fighter and bare-knuckle boxing champion Becc Rawlings, with her journey from wildchild to champion fighter, and domestic violence survivor and advocate, one that has unfortunately become increasingly more relevant with Australia in the grip of a domestic violence national crisis. Bec Rawlings & Jessica Penne on the show at the same time from Episode 64
We open the show talking about the Super Bowl. We dont really care about football so we get little kids take on the game. We chat with Menace's rugrats for a few and then we get into some fighting. About 9:45 we get on Jessica Penne & Bec Rawlings. Menace's oldest son approves of our guests. The interview starts a little slow as we have some connection issues so we call them back a few minutes later. Around 20:45 we are actually able to finally connect with them and start the interview. Fucking technology sometimes. We talk about resting bitch face, Australians love for the word cunt, we just riff with the ladies for some laughs, we talk Bare Knuckle boxing, Bec's next fight in Bellator, we talk about Jessica's dogs, Menace teases with a strip show and then we lose Bec who has somewhere to be. 42:35 we spend some time with just Jessica Penne. We joke about how Menace had some beef with Bec Rawlings, about how he may have some beef with Cat Zingano, we talk some CFFC, we get into Jessica's current situation with USADA, we talk about getting obsessed with cell phone games, we talk about her old show Two Straws with Angela Hill, we talk about her new only fans page, how Bec has one as well, we talk some more dogs, we invite Jessica to our upcoming NY Combat Championships and much more. We close the show previewing and making picks for UFC 247 with Jessica and wrap it up. Hope you enjoy!

Recording live on-location at the Gough Hazard in Parkersburg, West Virginia, the long hiatus is finally over. The episode begins with life updates from Steve and, in-person this time, Justin Novaria, resulting in speculation that someone has a family member that could be a drug mule. Somehow, Top Gun is confused with Days of Thunder. Steve hates Nickelback and not because it's trendy. We link Justin's birth to Desert Storm, discuss the reasons why we are recording away from the studio at an event, and make reference to MST3K. You will just have to listen to understasnd the context of the term "Beard Miracle Gro", Steve offers an interesting biological theory, Justin explains medical supplies and finds out that he isn't getting anything for Christmas. Out of nowhere, we solve T-Bear's cell phone data problems, Steve met a boxing legend while he was in the Virgin Islands for work, and we debate the best Hawk. Notre Dame sucks, and we're all frustrated about the fact that rebuilding the Notre Dame Cathedral was such an unnecessary priority. Joel Osteen and Kenneth Copeland are frauds and we want everyone to know that we know it. T-Bear knows far too much about foreign currencies, namely Armenian. Justin and Steve compare notes on porn and comedy. Coming out of the break, Justin learns a valuable live lesson and one of the rules of the show: If the headphones are on, it's fair game. Justin has a thing for Bec Rawlings and we learn that Steve pregames, but not for drinking, before the two compare porn notes for the second time. We have tons of respect for Teddy Atlas and Joe Goossen. Steve wanted a handy while he was in LA but his request was denied and Justin likes Chrissy Teigen. We close with a tip of the cap to a couple of figures from the Boxing Unfiltered board. It's good to be back. But, no matter what happens, none of us got fired as police chief in Rainelle. A look at Steve with former world champion Julian "The Hawk" Jackson https://i.postimg.cc/d047yVBr/60541224-1784097361736807-482864472801673216-n.jpg Our ringside recording location (left side of the ring in the aerial photo) https://i.postimg.cc/nMbMJjFb/66703405-10156790549912144-1767168893849174016-o.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/MZhYT9Xx/66748941-499583757517105-3898634783441289216-n.jpg Special Guest: Justin Novaria.

The days leading up to the highly anticipated UFC 223 at Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, New York caused a stir among die-hard fans and the entire sports world alike. Conor McGregor's suspected return to the Octagon was halted following an arrest at the site of the event for a violent incident involving multiple fighters. Several sustained serious wounds after McGregor tossed a hand truck through a bus window and were unable to fight. This incident also forced a shuffling of several fights on the card. In an unrelated but equally dramatic story, Khabib Nurmagomedov was unable to face Tony Ferguson for the fourth time due to a freak injury and Max Holloway's failure to make weight set up a title match with Al Iaquinta. The women's strawweight title was also on the line featuring an exciting rematch between Rose Namajunas (c) & Joanna Jedrzejczyk. Outside The Cage's Pete Hoffman and Ike Feldman host live from Brooklyn on CBS Sports Radio and break down all the action inside and outside the arena along with several special guests including Rose Namajunas and Khabib Nurmagomedov. If you did, Ben and Chad expect you know some of what's coming on this week's CME. If you didn't? Well, let your guys pull your coat to what happened. Well, hop on board, let's discourse. All that, plus AYFKM, Just Sayin' Stuff and MasterTweet Theatre.
