Brittany Drumgold is a certified Georgia Educator. Her teaching career spans 10 years. Her career started at Lucy C. Laney High School in 2010 where she taught for two years. She then transitioned back to Atlanta and started a position at South Paulding Middle School. She is currently certified in Family and Consumer Sciences and recently added the Reading Endorsement. She is currently the Yearbook Advisor and the Diversity Committee Chair at South Paulding Middle School. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Life University in 2002. A Master of Education from Strayer University in 2013 and she is currently enrolled in Piedmont College working on her Specialist in Curriculum & Instruction. Brittany recently completed the Aspiring Leaders Cohort in Paulding County and plans to pursue a future as an Assistant Principal in her county. Laney Comprehensive High School (2000) DEGREE EARNED: Masters of Human Resources (Webster University, May 2016) Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice & Sociology (Augusta State University, Dec. 2004) CURRENT PROFESSION: Captain United States Army Ernesia has been around basketball for over 20 years both playing and coaching. She has coached and trained players on the AAU, high school, and collegiate levels. Her 2-year professional career in Romania from 2006-2008 resulted in twice being named to the All-Star Team and Imports All-Defensive Team. Ernesia's semi-professional career in the WBCBL (Women's Blue Chip League) has spanned from the east to the west coast, playing two years for the Augusta Blaze (2006, 2009) and in Seattle with the Seattle Express and the Lakewood Panthers (2011-2013) In 2012 she was selected for the All-Army Women's Basketball team. Ernesia led the 2004 Augusta State University women's basketball team to its best year in school history going 24-8 and culminating in an appearance at the NCAA Division II Elite 8 in St. Joseph, Missouri, where they finished with a national top 10 ranking. While at ASU, Ernesia earned All-Conference and All-Region player honors as well as being named ASU's Female Athlete of the Year in 2004. A scoring point guard, Ernesia finished her career with 12th in the at ASU all-time record books in scoring, 5th in assists and 4th in steals. She had a stellar career at Lucy C. Laney High School where she received numerous local, state and regional recognition and awards. In addition to her playing experience, Ernesia has professional working experience as a Probation Officer, a Corrections Officer, and a public school Paraprofessional. She is currently serving as an Active Duty Captain in Savannah, Ga. Ernesia is proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.. In her spare time Ernesia enjoys spending time with her amazing husband Rocardo Wright and their beautiful daughters Zoey and Zia. She loves traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
