July 9th, 1991 is a day that retired Naval bombardier/navigator Lt. Keith Gallagher will always remember…because on that day, he cheated death. While flying in an A6 “Texaco” Intruder over the Indian Ocean at 8000 ft, he was partially ejected from the plane and somehow managed to survive…due to a lot of luck and the skills of his pilot Lt. Mark Baden. And thanks to our own Leif Lisec, we got the chance to have Keith on the show this morning to tell us the whole harrowing story!

Mark Baden Made Me Cry (9/14/20) by 96.5 WKLH
Mark Baden of WISN-TV in Milwaukee, WI and hasn't seen temperatures like this in his over 20 YEARS of forecasting in Milwaukee. What exactly does WIND CHILL mean? Shouldn't 2 degrees just be 2 degrees? What exactly is this "Polar Vortex"? WHY IS IT SO ABSURDLY COLD? These were all burning questions and rather than look up the info online, I'd rather just go to the source. Plus - you'll find out the biggest error Mark ever made on the air...forecasting gone WRONG! haha! It's a special POLAR VORTEX edition of Riggs off the Radio. Enjoy with a warm cup of cocoa...and a blanket...and another blanket...and three pairs of pants...and six long sleeve shirts...and a fire...and gloves....and a hat...
