High school reunion month concludes with my all-time favorite reunion movies and one of my all-time favorite John Cusack movies, Grosse Pointe Blank. For this look at the high school reunion of Martin Blank, professional killer, I'm joined by Michael Bailey (From Crisis to Crisis, Tales of the JSA, Views from the Longbox) and we talk about the movie, its characters, its music, and how well it holds up nearly 20 years after its release. Show notes and pictures are available at Pop Culture Affidavit, which is also where you can see regular weekly blog entries about the randomness that is pop culture.

Hello everbody...oh, wait, that's Andy and Micheal's bit. Anyhoo, welcome back to another episode of Just One of the Guys, the best Green Lantern podcast on the Two True Freaks Internet Radio Network. This week you're in for an extra special treat. This time out we're going to be covering not one, not two, but THREE great comics in the 90's era, namely the "Three of a Kind" storyline that ran through Green Lantern 96, Green Arrow 130, and The Flash 135. We get super heroes on vacation, super villains (well, Hair Metal Sonar, Hatchet, and Heat Wave, so C-List super villains) with an evil plan (well, taking Doctor Polaris to the North Pole in hopes it will amp up his powers and make him their BFF), tales of sex with ghosts, courtroom drama, and a story written by GRANT MORRISON AND MARK MILLAR!!! And surprisingly the whole "ghost sex" thing doesn't occur in the Morrison/Millar book. It's three amazing tales from a bygone era where DC could mix drama with fun, and to help me along on this journey, I'm joined by podcasting luminaries Michael Bailey (From Crisis to Crisis: A Superman Podcast, Views From the Longbox, and many others) and Dave Walker (Flash Legacies and Who True Freaks) who lend their insight and talent to celebrate this incredibly fun story from the legacy era of DC Comics. So if you've got to know how Conner "hit that" with a possible ghost, I suggest you grab your mp3 player of choice, download the show, and get to listening!Feedback for this show can be sent to: justoneoftheguyspodcast@gmail.comJust One Of The Guys is a proud member of the Two True Freaks! (http://twotruefreaks.com/main.php) family of podcasts, the best place on the internet to find shows about Star Wars, Star Trek, Comics, Movies, and anything else that the modern geek could ever want. If you are downloading the show through iTunes, be sure to leave a rating, hopefully a FIVE STAR RATING, because every rating we get helps grow the shows on the network! Thanks for listening, and be sure to come back next Friday for another episode of Just One Of The Guys: A Green Lantern Podcast.
