Check if your dental practice qualifies for capital allowances here >>> https://www.dentistswhoinvest.com/chris-lonergan———————————————————————UK Dentists: Collect your verifiable CPD for this episode here >>> https://courses.dentistswhoinvest.com/smart-money-members-club———————————————————————Cash flow can look fine on a spreadsheet and still fail you on payday. We unpack a clear, practical playbook for UK dentists to stay liquid when insurers delay payments, tax deadlines cluster, marketing needs ramp up, or a critical scanner dies at the worst time. With finance expert support, we explore fast, purpose‑built funding that keeps teams paid, treatments running, and growth plans alive without remortgaging the practice. We walk through short‑term working capital that lands within days, fixed‑term loans that turn chaos into a known monthly line, and specialised facilities for self‑assessment, VAT, and corporation tax. You'll hear why predictable repayments over 12 to 72 months can protect decision‑making, how to map term length to the problem you're solving, and where unsecured options or a personal guarantee make sense. We also dig into marketing finance for Google Ads, SEO, and Instagram campaigns, showing how a planned budget and realistic patient value can turn borrowed pounds into full chairs and stronger long‑term revenue. When shocks hit, speed matters. We outline funding routes for staffing gaps, agency cover, equipment breakdowns, and urgent replacements, plus merchant cash advances that flex with PDQ/card takings. The theme is discipline over drama: maintain a small contingency, keep documents ready, choose lenders who know dental cash cycles, and borrow to a clear purpose with measurable outcomes. Liquidity is a strategy, not a wish, and the right mix of tools helps you protect service quality while you scale on your terms.———————————————————————Disclaimer: All content on this channel is for education purposes only and does not constitute an investment recommendation or individual financial advice. In this compelling episode of Book Spectrum, host Chris Cordani welcomes Dinesh Danny, a parent, researcher, and author whose groundbreaking book AUTISM CAUSES UNVEILED challenges the conventional wisdom surrounding the rise in autism diagnoses. Through personal experience, medical records, and extensive research, Dinesh makes the case that a hidden traumatic brain injury at birth—often connected to induced labor and excessive contractions caused by Pitocin—may be the most overlooked factor fueling the autism epidemic. S7 E04 - Dinsesh Dav_otter_ai The conversation explores the science, the controversy, and the barriers that prevent open discussion, including medical suppression, legal obstacles, and social-media censorship. Dinesh also explains how MRI findings in his own son led him to uncover what he believes is the true cause at the heart of most modern autism cases. In this episode, Chris and Dinesh discuss:Why autism diagnoses have surged over the past two generationsMRI evidence of white-matter brain injury and what it revealsHow labor induction practices have changed since the 1980s—and why that mattersThe risks associated with Pitocin and why its warning labels are often ignoredWhy genetics alone cannot explain the current autism ratesThe four “causation tracks” outlined in AUTISM CAUSES UNVEILEDWhy doctors are limited in what they can publicly say about autism causationHow legal precedent blocks many families from pursuing malpractice casesThe mission behind Autism PI, a parent-driven initiative collecting birth data nationwideDinesh's work shines a light on a topic many families sense instinctively but rarely hear acknowledged: that the birth process itself may hold the key to understanding—and ultimately reducing—the autism epidemic.

We talk a lot about tree planting, but far less about what happens to all the agricultural and organic waste we burn or dump. That's where biochar comes in. In this episode of The Samuele Tini Show, I'm joined by Luisa Marin, Executive Director of the International Biochar Initiative (IBI). After 25+ years in conservation with organisations like Conservation International and The Nature Conservancy, Luisa moved into carbon project development—and discovered biochar: a carbon‑rich “black sponge” made by pyrolysing crop residues, prunings, manure and other organic waste instead of letting them rot or burn. 9th December Luisa Marin (1)_ot… Done well, biochar can: Lock away carbon in soils and materials for hundreds to thousands of years Regenerate soils, boosting water retention, porosity and microbial life Cut fertiliser and irrigation needs for farmers Create new revenue streams through products and carbon credits—especially in the Global South Luisa explains how research suggests biochar could remove up to 6% of global annual emissions—roughly like switching off 800 coal plants for a year—and why just 1 gram of biochar can have the surface area of two tennis courts. She also talks frankly about “good biochar” vs “bad biochar”, the importance of standards and lab tests, and the most common mistake she sees: projects chasing carbon money without proper technical and financial feasibility or patient capital. 9th December Luisa Marin (1)_ot… We also hear real examples from Kenya, Zimbabwe, Ghana and Latin America, where farmers and communities are already turning waste into value using both industrial and artisanal kilns—with support from NGOs, digital MRV tools and local governments. 9th December Luisa Marin (1)_ot… If you care about climate action, soil health and future markets in the Global South, this episode is a clear, grounded introduction to one of the most powerful—and underrated—tools on the table.

This week Max Perry Mueller drops in to talk about Wakara, a Ute man who shaped the modern American West. We also talk about the complexities of Native American identity, the impact of Manifest Destiny, and the ethical considerations in writing Native history. Max also highlights the importance of cultural exchange, environmental stewardship, and the ongoing struggles for repatriation and rematriation of Indigenous remains.About our guest:Max Perry Mueller (PhD, Harvard University) is an assistant professor in the Department of Classics and Religious Studies. He is also a fellow at the Center for Great Plains Studies and teaches in the Department of History, the Honors Program, and the Global Studies program.Mueller is a theorist and historian of race and religion in American history, with particular interest in Indigenous and African-American religious experiences, epistemologies, and cosmologies. The central animating question of his scholarship is how the act of writing—especially the writing of historical narratives—has affected the creation and contestation of "race" as a category of political and religious division in American history. His first book, Race and the Making of the Mormon People (The University of North Carolina Press, 2017), examines how the three original American races—"red," "black," and "white"—were constructed as literary projects before these racial categories were read onto bodies of Americans of Native, African, and European descent. Choice described Race and the Making of the Mormon People as an "outstanding analysis of the role of race among Mormons." The book was featured in The Atlantic and Harvard Divinity School Bulletin and has been taught at, among others, Princeton, Harvard, and Stanford Universities. His next book, Wakara's America, will be the first full-length biography of the complex and often paradoxical Ute warrior chief, horse thief, slave trader, settler colonist, one-time Mormon, and Indian resistance leader.Mueller's research and teaching also connect with his public scholarship. Mueller has written on religion, race, and politics for outlets including Slate, The New Republic, and The Atlantic. He also co-founded Religion & Politics, the online journal of the John C. Danforth Center on Religion & Politics at Washington University in St. Louis, whose mission is to bring the best scholarship on religion and American public life to audiences beyond the academy.
The Christmas story has a dark chapter we rarely talk about. Did you know there's a seventh prophecy about Christ's birth that predicted mothers would weep for their children? When King Herod ordered the killing of baby boys in Bethlehem, even this tragedy was part of God's prophetic plan. How can we find hope when evil seems to win? Even the first Christmas wasn't perfect, but God was working behind the scenes.

Gladys Knight & the Pips hold an essential place in American music history, but within the ensemble's smooth choreography and signature harmonies, one member often stood out for his quiet consistency, unmistakable stage presence, and velvet-textured vocals: William Guest. His contributions helped shape the unmistakable sound of the group, even if he wasn't always the one in the spotlight. The story begins in Atlanta, Georgia, where Gladys Knight was already turning heads with her powerhouse vocals as a child. In 1952, after winning a televised talent competition, she joined forces with her brother Merald “Bubba” Knight and cousins Edward Patten and William Guest. The four formed a family group called The Pips, named after another cousin, James “Pip” Woods. Even in the early days, Guest's natural musicality was obvious. His voice had a warm, fluid tone, and he possessed a dancer's instinct — smooth, rhythmic, and always in total sync with the group.Throughout the '50s and early '60s, The Pips worked tirelessly, playing hometown shows and steadily building a reputation for their professionalism and perfectly blended harmony parts. William was a key part of the group's vocal chemistry. While Gladys carried the lead, it was William, Edward, and Bubba who built the lush vocal bed the group became famous for. Their first hit, “Every Beat of My Heart,” arrived in '61 and put the group on the national radar. But the real transformation came in '66 when they signed with Motown Records. Surrounded by giants of the era, Gladys Knight & the Pips carved out their own lane. What many don't realise is just how physically demanding the group's work was during the Motown years. William wasn't simply a backing singer — he was part of the group's visual identity. His dance lines with Bubba and Edward became part of the group's signature. In '73, after moving to Buddah Records, the group hit an extraordinary creative stride. “Midnight Train to Georgia,” “Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me,” and “I've Got to Use My Imagination” defined an era, and William Guest was right there at the heart of it. Behind the scenes, he was known as a gentle, steady soul — humble, thoughtful, and devoted to the craft. His professionalism was legendary: he rehearsed meticulously, respected the group's tight vocal blend, and helped maintain the discipline that kept the band performing at an elite level for decades. The group continued releasing hits through the '70s and '80s, including “Love Overboard,” which won a Grammy and introduced the group to a new generation. By the time they retired in '89, they had become one of the longest-running and most respected vocal groups in American music.William Guest didn't step away from music after the group's farewell. Instead, he poured his energy into nurturing new talent. He co-founded the Crew Records label and later the Gladys Knight & the Pips Foundation, focusing on youth development and musical education — a reflection of his belief in giving young performers the kind of opportunities he'd had as a child. When Gladys Knight & the Pips were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in '96, it was a moment that finally spotlighted the collective contributions of all four members — including the man whose steady artistry helped carry the group across four decades.William Guest passed away in 2015. His sister in law, author Lady Dhyana Ziegler spent years interviewing him and recently published his story " Midnight Train From Georgia" It speaks of his voice, his movement, and his unwavering commitment to excellence that helped shape one of the greatest soul ensembles of all time . Lady D joins us today to share the story of William Guest whose influence lives on in the countless R&B vocal groups who model themselves on the Pips' precision and style today.

The Power of a Second Income — The High-Demand Side Hustle You've Never Heard Of In Part One, we exposed the danger of relying on one income. In Part Two, we explore a side hustle that actually solves the problem modern businesses face…
This could be one of the, if not the, most under realized opportunities in commercial real estate. It's a blue ocean market operating in a boring business space that most investors (and service providers) are completely overlooking. But, Jake Guso tapped into what no other real estate investor knew about industrial outdoor storage management, specifically truck parking lot businesses. These mom-and-pop shops are running almost entirely on handwritten notes and Zelle payments and it's an absolute mess for owners and their accountants. After managing multiple truck parking lot businesses himself, Jake built Rig Hut, the software platform that turns dirt lots into cash flow. So much so that, in one case study, Jake helped an owner increase his annual revenue by as much as six figures. Today, I'm sitting down with Jake to talk about how Rig Hut is industrializing truck parking, how investors can get into the game themselves (and make serious money), the shocking "11-to-1" statistic that would make any investor excited, and how this forgotten asset class is only one of many in the CRE space. Plus, I'll even share my exact strategy for finding deals like this in any area of the country. _______ Connect with Jake on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jake-guso-16bb167a/ Rig Hut: https://www.therighut.com/ Rig Hut Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100084019464551 Rig Hut Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/therighut Rig Hut TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@righuttruckparking Rig Hut X/Twitter: https://x.com/truckpark_king Sunrise Capital Case Studies: https://sunrisecapitalinvestors.com/case-studies/

When most of us hear " dulcimer," we think of Irish peasants in the Middle Ages. Or maybe that "damsel with a dulcimer" in the poem "Kubla Khan." The actual hammered dulcimer, however, is something else entirely. It's a unique blend of percussion and stringed instruments with ancient roots across the world. And it's capable of creating gorgeous music. Musician and composer Joshua Messick joins the table to discuss all things hammered dulcimer. He's composed ten albums of hammered dulcimer music, and played for the soundtracks of major movies and video games. He explains the hammered dulcimer's unique ability to tell a story through its music.

THE TELEPHONE LINE THEORY — A GAME-CHANGER FOR PARANORMAL INVESTIGATIONIn this episode of Pursuit of the Paranormal, Greg and Sarah from Beyond Our Ordinary take over the episode to break down a brand-new way of understanding spirit communication — a concept we call The Telephone Line Theory. This theory suggests that ghosts and spirits don't just randomly appear…they communicate when people, objects and places align.Just like a phone call, both ends must pick up the line.Is paranormal activity truly random or is it synchronised communication based on People, Objects, and Places finally connecting at the same moment? This episode blends science, psychology, energy, and real-world paranormal evidence to create a framework that could reshape how investigators work.www.pursuitoftheparanormal.co.uk
It's highly likely that the Grumman LLV has been a regular part of your life for much longer than you're aware of. But what is it? And why is it so important? Luckily for you, the newest Revelations episode on the Hagerty YouTube channel answers all of the above. === This episode of the Carmudgeon Show is sponsored by Vredestein Tires: https://www.vredestein.com/ === Before getting deep into the excitement of mail delivery vehicles and government contracts, Jason discusses his recent autocross experience at Sonoma Raceway in his MK7 Volkswagen e-Golf and E30 BMW 325i - with none other than Randy Pobst as his passenger and coach. The results of this endeavor surprise us - from new learnings about tires, to beating lap times in ways we might not expect. Meanwhile on the other side of the track, Derek discusses his recent track day at Sonoma driving his 1982 Porsche 911 SC - bringing the oldest car on track by a good 15 years closest to a 1997 BMW M3. Most of the episode is devoted to discussing the Grumman LLV (Long Life Vehicle') - one that has delivered the mail to millions of Americans for decades, and will soon retire and be replaced by the Oshkosh NGDV, for better and worse. Jason and Derek discuss Grumman's long and illustrious history covering everything from canoes to large aircrafts such as the Albatross and the Tomcat. As the LLV is on the brink of being fully retired, they have already become relatively collectable (and difficult to obtain as a civilian) - so no better time than to celebrate it's long life on the road. On this day in Tudor history, 21st November 1558, a devoted servant of both Queen Mary I and her husband, Philip of Spain, died tragically young. His name was James Bassett. I'm historian and author Claire Ridgway, and in today's video, I uncover the remarkable story of this scholar, exile, courtier, diplomat, and loyal servant of a queen and a king. Born around 1526, Bassett was connected to the royal bloodline through his stepfather, Arthur Plantagenet, Viscount Lisle, an illegitimate son of Edward IV. His education was exceptional, taking him from Reading Abbey to prestigious colleges in Paris and St Omer, shaping him into a learned and refined young courtier. But loyalty came at a price. When his mentor Stephen Gardiner fell from favour under Edward VI, Bassett stood by him, even when it meant imprisonment and exile for his Catholic faith. When Mary I ascended the throne, everything changed. Gardiner returned as Lord Chancellor, and Bassett's fortunes soared. His personal life reflected the same devotion: he married Mary Roper, granddaughter of Sir Thomas More, forming a union steeped in faith and scholarship. Yet his promising career was tragically short. James Bassett died on 21st November 1558 at Blackfriars, London, aged just about thirty-two. In this episode, explore: • His deep loyalty to Stephen Gardiner • His imprisonment and exile under Edward VI • His rise at the courts of Mary I and Philip of Spain • His diplomatic missions and political influence • His marriage into the family of Sir Thomas More • Why his life, though brief, reveals so much about Tudor politics and faith #TudorHistory #JamesBassett #MaryI #PhilipOfSpain #TudorCourt #OnThisDay #HistoryYouTube #TudorDynasty #StephenGardiner #SirThomasMore #ClaireRidgway #TheAnneBoleynFiles

Graeme Wall, the Conservation Director of the Rushworth Field and Game Branch of Field and Game Australia, is an enigma. We first learned about Graeme and his branch last year and celebrated all the things they do for conservation because they love to duck hunt. During Robbie's tour down under, he managed to stop in and see Graeme in Rushworth. Graeme joined Robbie on the podcast to discuss his tiny little town of just 1,000 people in the middle of nowhere—Victoria, Australia—and his role as the spear tip of conservation in his community. The two discuss Rushworth's rural success in conservation, all recorded on location in the middle of an Australian wetland in the middle of nowhere (check out the YouTube video).
