What if everything you've been taking to boost your energy, sharpen your focus, and fuel your body was covered by one single food?Dr. Catharine Arnston discovered algae sixteen years ago while researching how to help her sister heal from breast cancer, and it changed the entire direction of her life. NASA has endorsed algae as a complete food for space travel. The United Nations has called it one of the greatest solutions to human nutrition on Earth. Now 72, with a PhD earned last year and zero medications or chronic disease, Catharine joins Jon and Will to break down exactly how spirulina and chlorella work in the body,  from mitochondrial energy and testosterone to heavy metal detox and why men, specifically, are prone to a problem most have never heard of: cellular rust.As an algae nutrition expert, Catharine walks through the spirulina and chlorella benefits that define these algae superfoods, starting with mitochondrial health and its role in fueling cellular energy in men's nutrition. She explains how antioxidants for men neutralize free radicals, easing inflammation and testosterone disruption, while nitric oxide and blood flow support men's hormone health and performance. For men over 40, whole food supplements like ENERGYbits deliver longevity nutrition through high fiber content that strengthens gut health, complementing a Keto lifestyle. Catharine also details how algae supports heavy metal detox, binding toxic metals for gentle clearance, and positions itself as a natural energy supplement built on decades of research into cellular vitality and aging well.IN THIS EPISODE YOU'LL LEARN:1.  Why mitochondria are the real power plant behind energy, testosterone, and brain fog2.  Spirulina vs. chlorella: nourishment in, toxins out, and why men need both3.  The connection between nitric oxide, blood flow, and male performance4.  Why men accumulate stored iron — and how that quietly damages the heart and brain over time5.  Why most supplements fail to get absorbed, and what makes whole-food nutrition differentMore about Dr. Catharine Arnston:1.  Website: https://www.energybits.com2.  Discount Code: MTM for 20% off sitewide, no expiration3.  Instagram (brand): https://www.instagram.com/energybits4.  Instagram (personal): https://www.instagram.com/catharinearnston5.  LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/catharinearnston6.  YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/energybits GET MORE FROM MTM:Text MTM to 33777 — free weekly newsletterSubscribe & Episodes: https://mentalkingmindfulness.com/FREE APP: https://focusnowtrainingapp.com/FREE Assessment: https://focusnowtraining.com/assessment-pageA2A COURSE:12 modules on attention, presence & performance. A pair of reading glasses stopped a military coup in 1783. New England quietly talked about leaving the union in 1814, forty seven years before the South did. These are true stories, and almost nobody remembers them. Is it a coincidence, or is God's hand really in it? In this episode, Lance Wallnau walks through the moments American history books skip over: the Newburgh conspiracy, the Hartford Convention, Andrew Jackson's showdown with South Carolina, Lincoln's calls for national repentance, and FDR's wartime turnaround. Each one came down to a single leader making a single choice, and each one still shapes the country you live in today. In this episode: * The 1783 Newburgh conspiracy Washington stopped without raising his voice * The Hartford Convention of 1814, the secession talk your history class left out * Andrew Jackson's toast that faced down South Carolina's threat to leave the union * Lincoln's 1863 line, "we have forgotten God," and why he called for national days of prayer in the middle of the war * How FDR set aside his own economic playbook to win World War Two * Why every one of these moments hinged on one person's decision, and what that means for the moment we're in right now If God has shown up this many times before, He hasn't stopped now. Have you ever heard of Sabatini's, in Exeter, PA? Sabatini's might be the best relatively unknown beer bar in the East. An unassuming pizzeria with a bar and bottleshop annex across the parking lot offers a ridiculously great tap selection, and around 3,000 different bottles of beer: import, domestic, craft, macro, micro, nano. It's a third generation family business, and I interviewed Lindo Sabatini.  But it's not just the beer! Sabatini's has renowned pizza, an "upside-down" pizza with the cheese on the bottom and the sauce on top, pushed right out to the edge of the pie, and diced pepperoni, and a thin, crisp crust. We'll talk about that too, and how Lindo learned to blend different ages of mozzarella, all from the same Wisconsin dairy they've been using for over 30 years, to get the perfect flavor and melt.  Then I went to another pizzeria, Nello's, and Michael Mootz Candies, (which, correction, is in Hanover Township, not Nanticoke) and Tarnowski's Kielbasa, just because I was there, and why not! All three were great; I love small businesses.  What I'm Drinking Today is Conshohocken Brewing's Nightbier Cometh, a delicious schwarzbier, made even better when I had it with some of those Mootz's chocolates.  Next episode will be an interview with two brewers who got together to make a uniquely Pennsylvania style of beer that is often talked about, but rarely made.  See you in two weeks! Jessica Pleffken is the founder and CEO of Pleffken & Marvulle Marketing. Ana Marvulle is co-founder and managing partner. Jessica and Ana both have a long history working inside CX and BPO companies and now their specialist marketing company advises companies working in the CX environment. Both Jessica and Ana are based in São Paulo, Brazil. Jessica and Ana explain why the traditional separation between marketing and sales no longer works. BPO buyers now conduct extensive research before contacting a provider, using LinkedIn, client referrals and AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity to compare companies and build shortlists. Marketing must therefore do more than generate leads: it must establish trust, demonstrate operational capability and ensure that the company presents a clear, consistent and credible story across its website, content, sales materials and public reputation. The conversation explores how sales, marketing and operations can work as a single growth system with shared priorities and metrics. Jessica and Ana also argue that BPO companies need stronger client advocacy, genuine case studies and evidence of results rather than generic claims. Their final advice is simple: write for customers rather than industry peers, avoid unnecessary jargon and explain clearly what the company actually does. In an AI-driven buying environment, the providers that communicate with the greatest clarity and credibility will be the easiest to discover - and the easiest to trust. https://www.linkedin.com/in/jessicapleffken/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/ana-carvalhom/ https://www.linkedin.com/company/pleffken-marvulle-marketing-bpo https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/one-outsources-company-theyve-never-heard-jessica-pleffken-hosti-1na9f/ WhatsApp Summary: Mark Hillary and Peter Ryan discuss the evolving landscape of customer experience (CX) and marketing in the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry. They highlight the importance of integrating marketing and sales due to changes in client behavior, particularly the increased use of AI for shortlisting BPOs. Jessica Pleffken and Anna Marvulle from P&M Marketing in São Paulo emphasize the need for a unified growth system, shared metrics, and simple, clear communication to build trust and credibility. They stress the importance of aligning marketing and sales strategies, understanding client needs, and maintaining consistent messaging to enhance brand reputation and client acquisition.

A freak tornado drove the British army out of Washington. A supernatural fog hid 9,000 soldiers in rowboats on a dark river. Farmers with muskets nearly collapsed the republic before it had a constitution. These aren't myths — they're the parts of American history nobody put in your textbook. What if the founding was stranger than anything you were taught? Lance Wallnau goes deep on the hidden stories behind America's founding — from the Mayflower's secret divide to the acts of Providence that kept the revolution alive when everything said it should have died. In this episode: * The Mayflower wasn't a ship full of saints — fewer than half were Christians, and the two groups nearly came to blows before they ever touched land * The Mayflower Compact: the first uneasy deal between faith and fortune in America * The "unnatural fog" at the Battle of Long Island that evacuated 9,000 soldiers overnight, undetected * Valley Forge: 2,000 men dead from cold and hunger — and why Washington refused to leave * The freak storm of 1814 that doused the flames and scattered a British army from a burning Washington D.C. * Shays' Rebellion: the armed uprising that made the Constitution necessary * Why George Washington genuinely did not want to be president This is America's 250th year. Those numbers tell you where you are—but they don't tell you whether you're actually moving toward financial freedom. In this solo episode of Worth with Pete the Planner, Pete revisits one of his favorite financial concepts: Power Percentage. Created years ago to answer the question, "Am I doing okay?", Power Percentage measures something far more important than wealth—it measures behavior. Pete explains why two people with identical incomes can have completely different financial futures, why net worth can be misleading, and why the habits behind your money matter more than the money itself. If you've ever wondered whether you're really making progress, this episode will give you a different scoreboard—and maybe a better way to think about your financial life. Because the goal isn't to look wealthy. It's to build freedom.

Nobody is talking about the one with 50 years of published research that your body is already making and losing as you age. GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring tripeptide that declines by 60% between the ages of 20 and 60. That decline tracks directly with the loss of skin elasticity, slower wound healing, thinning hair, reduced collagen production, and rising inflammation. Radio Raps: Rikus de Beer Like You've Never Heard Him Before

This week on Good Things with Brent Lindeque, I sit down with Rikus de Beer, the man behind the wildly popular Radio Raps character, Jonathan. I went into the interview expecting the larger-than-life humour that has made him one of South Africa's favourite entertainers. While there certainly were laughs, what I didn't anticipate was just how grounded and deeply inspiring the conversation would become. Hearing him reflect on the turning points in his life gave me a fresh appreciation for the person behind the character. At just 26 years old, a severe illness changed everything. After contracting a near-fatal virus and spending six weeks in ICU, he found himself questioning the life he had built. That experience became the catalyst for a bold decision: he left his corporate career behind and chose to chase a dream that made no sense on paper but felt completely right in his heart. That leap of faith gave birth to Radio Raps, the entertainment brand that would go on to capture South Africans through viral WhatsApp voice notes, unforgettable stand-up performances and the iconic Jonathan character. Alongside the comedy, Rikus also built an impressive business career, becoming the owner of the popular Hennie's restaurant chain and proving that creativity and entrepreneurship can go hand in hand. This episode isn't about comedy… at all. It's about perspective, taking chances, finding purpose after life's biggest setbacks and discovering that success often begins with the courage to change direction.

Canada had already identified the Bishnoi network as a banned criminal organization. So why did it still take months—and in some cases years—for deportation proceedings and enforcement actions to catch up?This episode examines the timeline behind one of Canada's most troubling organized crime investigations, from the attack on AP Dhillon's home to questions surrounding visa screening, deportation delays, and coordination between federal agencies. In this episode, Kelsi breaks down:→ How members connected to the Bishnoi network entered Canada through legal immigration pathways→ The timeline leading from criminal convictions to deportation orders→ Why a deportation hearing was delayed after officials temporarily lost track of a convicted offender already in custody→ What the government's own documents say about the network's activities in Canada→ The questions Canadians should be asking about visa screening, enforcement, and institutional accountabilityThis isn't about blaming an entire community. The government's own documents state that many of the network's victims were members of the Indo-Canadian community. This episode examines whether Canada's institutions responded quickly enough—and whether the systems responsible for screening, tracking, and removing serious offenders are working as intended. All primary sources, including CBC reporting and Government of Canada documents, are linked below.Buy me a coffee! - https://buymeacoffee.com/kelsisherenLet's connect!Rumble - https://rumble.com/user/TheKelsiSherenPerspectiveInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/thekelsisherenperspective?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&igsh=ZDNlZDc0MzIxNw%3D%3DX: https://x.com/KelsisherenSubstack: https://substack.com/@kelsisherenSUPPORT OUR PEOPLE - - - - - - - - - - - -MasterPeace - 10% off with code KELSI - https://www.MasterPeace.Health/KelsiKetone IQ- 30% off with code KELSI - https://ketone.com/KELSIGood Livin - 20% off with code KELSI - https://www.itsgoodlivin.com/?ref=KELSIBrass & Unity - 20% off with code UNITY - http://www.brassandunity.com

Web games went from the thing you played to kill time in study hall to a platform pulling 100 million monthly active users. So why are so many developers still thinking about it like it's 2008?In this episode, Greg sits down with Stein, COO of Poki, the world's largest web gaming platform, to dig into the 2026 State of Web Gaming Report. Poki went from 10 million to 100 million players in six years, runs about a billion gameplays a month, and is the market leader in over 100 countries — and yet it's arguably the biggest gaming platform nobody's talking about. The conversation gets into the gap the report exposes: developers still tend to see web as a nostalgia or legacy channel, while players are rating these games high quality, coming back daily, and treating web as a genuine discovery engine. Stein and Greg unpack what actually makes a web game sticky, why zero-install friction changes everything about how games get made, and how "competing for attention" now means competing with Netflix, TikTok, and YouTube rather than other games. It's a good one for anyone in player support, community, live ops, or game dev who wants a clearer picture of where casual and accessible gaming is actually heading. What we get into:Why web games aren't "casual" anymore, and the data that pushes back on the not-sticky myth (37% of players returning daily, 86% weekly)The perception gap between what developers think web is and what players actually experienceHow players hop through four to five games a session, and why curation beats open uploadWeb as the top of the funnel: discovery, IP and franchise fandom, and players who own consoles and spend real moneyThe attention economy reality, with players multitasking across music, social, and shows while they playWhy rising console and hardware prices are quietly making web the most accessible platform there isThe "it's easy to publish but I'm not sure it's worth it" hesitation, and Stein's pitch to the cautious 36%HTML5, fast update cycles, and how a trending meme can be live in a game an hour laterWhy content updates, not gimmicks, are what keep players coming backCuration as player safety, and why an AI-slop free-for-all isn't the answerAbout Poki: Poki is a browser-based gaming platform built on the idea that the easier you make play to access, the more people get to enjoy it. No downloads, no installs, no account required — just click and play. They work with a global community of developers to curate and release new games daily.Find the report: Head to poki.com/blog to read the 2026 State of Web Gaming Report.

If you're an SME (Small to Medium Enterprise) leader wondering why your technology investments aren't delivering, or you're facing critical decisions about AI, modernization, or team productivity, let's talk. Show Notes Hey everyone, and welcome back to The Modern .NET Show; the premier .NET podcast, focusing entirely on the knowledge, tools, and frameworks that all .NET developers should have in their toolbox. I'm your host Jamie Taylor, bringing you conversations with the brightest minds in the .NET ecosystem. Today's episode is a little different from the norm. I waned to, temporarily, take you away from the "AI is the best thing ever/worst thing ever" news cycle, and talk to you about an open source project that I work on called "OwaspHeaders.Core" This is the first in a two-part series about OwaspHeaders.Core and lays the ground work for why I chose to create it. Part two will be more about how I went about creating it, and the lessons I learned along the way, which are not just about HTTP headers and building your own NuGet package, and some of the amazing contributions that the community has put in place. The three main goals for this two-part series are to talk people through the real-world problem that exists in all web frameworks and how we can all work together to solve it, to talk you through what I believe good open source stewardship looks like, and to talk through what creating and publishing a NuGet package looks like. Before we jump in, a quick reminder: if The Modern .NET Show has become part of your learning journey, please consider supporting us through Patreon or Buy Me A Coffee. The Neuro Experience
The Man Behind Every AI Model And Why You've Never Heard of Him

The Neuro Experience

Every AI breakthrough you've heard of, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, traces back to a single 1943 paper, and its co-author was a homeless teenage runaway who never finished high school. Walter Pitts taught himself Greek, Latin, and the foundations of modern logic in a Detroit public library, corrected Bertrand Russell's math by letter at age 12, and was taken in by a 45 year old scientist who treated him like a son. He helped found the architecture behind every neural network in existence at 19, and then a single lie destroyed every relationship he had, sending him into a 17 year drinking spiral that ended in a Cambridge boarding house in 1969. In this solo episode, I tell the full story of how Pitts' partnership with neurophysiologist Warren McCulloch produced the unbroken ancestor of the perceptron, backpropagation, and the transformer architecture behind today's large language models, and what happened when a fabricated accusation cut him off from every mentor he had. I lay out the specific conditions, free public libraries, mentors willing to take prodigies seriously, intellectual communities small enough to recognize raw talent, that made a mind like his possible, why those conditions have been dismantled, and what I call the cognitive class war: the widening gap between the small number of people capable of directing artificial intelligence and everyone else whose future it will shape. *Reduce your risk of Alzheimer's with my science-backed protocol for women 30+:*https://go.neuroathletics.com.au/youtube-sales-page Subscribe to The Neuro Experience for evidence-based conversations at the intersection of brain science, longevity, and performance. _____ *TOPICS DISCUSSED*(00:00:00) Intro: The 1943 Paper Behind Every AI Model Today (00:02:53) Walter Pitts Childhood in Depression-Era Detroit (00:03:17) Hiding From Bullies, He Finds Principia Mathematica (00:03:40) A 12-Year-Old Writes to Correct Bertrand Russell (00:06:35) Walter Pitts Meets Warren McCulloch in 1942 (00:08:32) Inside the 1943 Paper That Founded Neural Networks (00:11:17) From the Perceptron to ChatGPT and Claude (00:13:43) Norbert Wiener, MIT, and the Macy Conferences (00:15:05) The 1952 Lie That Destroyed Walter Pitts (00:19:11) Pitts Dies Alone in a Boarding House, 1969 (00:21:46) Five Conditions That Made a Genius Possible (00:24:16) Why Those Conditions No Longer Exist Today (00:33:53) The Cognitive Class War and Who Will Govern AI _______ *Thank you to our sponsors*Cure Hydration: https://www.curehydration.com/ Use code NEURO for 20% offJones Road Beauty: https://www.jonesroadbeauty.com Use code NEURO for a free gift with your orderMomentum: https://momentumshake.com/neuro Get a free Welcome Kit + Travel Collection ($70 value)IQ Bar: https://www.eatiqbar.com/ Text NEURO to 64000 for 20% off plus free shipping _______ I'm Louisa Nicola - clinical neurophysiologist - Alzheimer's prevention specialist - founder of Neuro Athletics. Forget everything you've been taught about buyer psychology and positioning.   Until you clearly communicate these 3 things, premium buyers won't understand why choosing anyone but you is a HUGE mistake. On June 24th, I'm hosting a brand new masterclass called Market of One, where you'll learn the exact positioning and messaging shifts that transform you from just another option into the obvious (and only) choice.  **The sales page isn't quite done. Nate Bargatze is back on the bus for Episode 382. The boys kick things off celebrating Mitch's 200th episode, announce Racing With The Boys (their new NASCAR show dropping Thursday), pay tribute to Kyle Busch, debate whether Taylor Swift will change her last name, and Taylor delivers an all-time Game of Thrones Season 8 clean take defending The Long Night. Then Nate joins and talks about his new movie Breadwinners hitting theaters May 29th, how Entourage has been his career roadmap, auditioning for Haley Joel Osment's part in the Entourage movie, putting Vanderbilt QB Jared Curtis in Breadwinners as an NIL deal, the motivational speech he gave Vanderbilt football about legacy sports being dead, why flyover states have the best sports and media won't cover them, the Nate Rate getting fans discounted tickets, working with Will Forte and Colin Jost, Nate Land theme park, and Louis CK texting an apology after the last BWTB episode.
