Miss Bossy Boots has joined the big bad world of Insta! Finally. We deliberately left it as our second choice of promotional social channel for a few reasons (of which we touch on briefly in this episode). There's no denying it - there is definitely pros and cons to social media both on a business and personal level. Socially, social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat sometimes get a bad wrap for the negativite behaviour of a selected few (bullying, trolling etc.) that it can help to amplify. That though, is a subject for another day. This episode we talk about the Pros that Instagram can foster. Jane gets down and dirty with some granular insight into how certain age groups are using the Instagram platform - which is really important to know as a parent of teens OR as a Business Owner - hello Direct Messaging! We talk about how we are using Instagram to promote our Miss Bossy Boots Podcast as well as how Jane's 11 year old daughter managed to build herself a thriving Instagram page connecting with well over 2,500 fellow LOL Doll followers. Organically! If you would like to join our Instagram tribe you can find us at @missbossybootspodcast
In 2017, Stacey created a manifesto, placed it in an envelope and forgot all about it. One year later, this letter appeared in her letterbox and surprised her. She was shocked to read through this manifesto and realise that there were many items that she had manifested had actually happened. Stace also talks about the importance of a visible manifesto that you see every day, reading the items outload. Jane is skeptical. Is it the manifesto that makes it happen or is it just all a load of codswallop? Join us for this episode of Miss Bossy Boots Podcast as we discuss the possibilities that manifestos may or may not create.
