Jeff & Jer make good on their promise to keep up with the transformative experiences of ghost researcher Rachel Baker. A lot has happened in the past few months. For one, she is no longer a ghost researcher and has stepped down from her position at MRIPA. For another, she is no longer Rachel Baker, she's Rachel Weinrich. Something is changing in her and it is changing rapidly. This one's about religion, spirituality, compassion, and complacency. In short, it's a conversation about thought constructs getting in the way of the feeling beings that we are. And it's an examination of what this means in a real human being go through the motions of deep change right now. There is a persistent question here, and it is this: Does Rachel represent an awakening happening in all of us right now, or is this change strictly personal to her? What say you, Paratopia? (originally aired: 01.12.2012)
Rachel Baker of the ghost research outfit MRIPA returns to discuss her work and her purpose in the ghost biz, but what she reveals has very little to do with ghosts and ultimately leads into the type of rare and pivotal episode that has come to define Paratopia. Learn more about Rachel at www.mripa.net (originally aired: 07.28.2011)
Jason and Rachel Baker, of Midwestern Researchers and Investigators of Paranormal Activity (MRIPA), stop by to talk about their ghost investigations. But just when you think it's safe to have a normal run of the mill discussion, things take a turn into richer territory. Demonology? Schizophrenia? Yeah. We go there. All that plus some pretty spectacular EVPs courtesy of MRIPA! Catch up with Jason and Rachel and listen to a host of EVPs at their excellent site: www.mripa.net (originally aired 03.31.2011)
The EERIEX crew takes a little time to explore the newest of the New Age, the Celestial Dawning shop, owned by our very own new cast member Rachel and her boytoy Jason (of MRIPA fame). Taking a little time in a meditation/reader room, your EERIE crew also waxes philosophic as we usually do on psychics, belief, and our future endeavors.
A fabled lost episode of EERIEX. This was intended to be our Halloween special for 2012, but technical difficulties kept it from you our loyal listeners...but no more!!! You can hear Rob, DK, and Shep journey to the mystical realm of Kokomo, Indiana to investigate an alleged haunted car factory with our old friends MRIPA and courtesy of some new friends at Firepuss Productions. You read that correctly...
Jason and Rachel from MRIPA.NET join us in the studio for some paranormal discussion.

As a child, I was fascinated by the thought of the paranormal. My grandfather, who was a Minister and a well seasoned traveler of the world, fed my intrigue with unexplained phenomena from a very early age. As the years went by, craving more information until I started exploring on my own. I have had many unexplainable happenings, experiences, and quite a few I would like to forget. Looking into each investigation with an open mind, but concentrating on facts rather then rumors. Living with the drive of a learning Parapsychologist at heart, and never-ending hunger for knowledge, I set out to find others like me.A group of professionals whose free services and sincere dedication press forward to increasing the public’s knowledge on paranormal phenomena. By gathering data in order to allocate logical explanations for reported anomalous activities. MRIPA is NOT a ghost hunting group. The MRIPA team researches all unexplained phenomena as well as train and educate those with questions or interests in the paranormal field. The term "Paranormal" means, "above the normal" and consists of many types of strange areas, from UFOlogy, Cryptozoology, Hauntings, Myths, Legends, Metaphysical, Lost Civilizations and much much more. The origin of the MRIPA team was created in 1996 and fell under the umbrella name of Xgen Paranormal. Jason Baker, the founder and creator, decided to separate the team in 2006 from its Xgenco roots because the interest in paranormal research grew so large that it could no longer be contained under the Xgenco name alone. The team was then enhanced and given its own separate identity and became known as MRIPA (Midwestern Researchers and Investigators of Paranormal Activity).
