This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!From childhood, Kitty Janusz knew her world was different. While others played outside or whispered secrets in the dark, she was speaking with voices that no one else could hear. Spirits appeared before her with unsettling clarity—voices of the talking dead, reaching out from a place most people try to ignore. For Kitty, this wasn't a haunting hobby or a fleeting childhood imagination. It was reality. As the years passed, her encounters only grew stronger. Ghosts would whisper, shadows would linger, and unexplainable sounds etched themselves into her memory. For most, these moments might spark fear, but for Kitty, they were a calling. She realized the whispers and voices she picked up—sometimes even caught as EVPs—were not just random noise. They were cries for help. Spirits lost between worlds, desperately reaching out for someone who could hear them. Someone who could guide them.Kitty's journey became one of understanding and responsibility. She discovered that her gift wasn't just to witness the paranormal but to help souls cross over, to bring messages from the dead to the living, and to offer comfort where there was confusion. Each spirit, each EVP, carried a story unfinished—a life cut short or tethered by regret. And Kitty, unlike most, could help them find peace. Are these voices simply echoes of the past, or undeniable proof that the veil between the living and the dead is thinner than we think?#GhostStories #ParanormalPodcast #HauntedVoices #SpiritCommunication #TalkingDead #HauntedChildhood #MediumLife #RealEVPs #HelpingSpirits #TheGraveTalksLove real ghost stories? This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!It was once a college dormitory. Then a tuberculosis hospital. Now it's a rustic inn with a haunted reputation that keeps growing darker. What happened inside the Old Gooding TB Hospital? In this episode of The Grave Talks, we sit down with Jennifer Ward, investigator with Western Idaho Paranormal Inc. (W.I.P.), a nonprofit group dedicated to scientific, professional paranormal investigation across Idaho and the Pacific Northwest. W.I.P. doesn't just chase shadows—they document them. And what they discovered inside the walls of the Gooding University Inn (formerly the Idaho State Tuberculosis Hospital) is unforgettable.Built in 1920 as a dormitory for Gooding College, the building later served as a tuberculosis hospital from 1947 to 1976—a place of isolation, suffering, and many deaths. Now, as an inn being carefully restored, visitors and investigators alike have reported overwhelming feelings of dread, unexplainable physical sensations, and full-bodied apparitions.Jennifer shares one of the most compelling EVPs ever captured in the building, along with chilling details of what her team experienced in the attic and basement, where even the current innkeeper refuses to go. In the second installment of this two-parter, we pick up right where we left off with Harold, and things immediately spiral. Anthony starts traveling with the doll, capturing EVPs that range from aggressive threats to disturbingly crude commentary. Psychics refuse to be in the same room as Harold, one woman is physically bitten during a tarot reading, and a Ouija board session reveals a spirit named Adam before leaving a deep scratch across a participant's body. Harold isn't just haunted, he's active, reactive, and escalating. As more encounters unfold, we learn there may be up to five spirits inside the doll, including a vulnerable child spirit and a dark entity controlling the four others. After a series of injuries, terrifying visions, and mounting tragedies, Anthony realizes he may not be in control at all and locks Harold away for years. But when the doll resurfaces, so does the chaos. Now, Anthony believes he has a responsibility to free the innocent spirits trapped inside, but with Harold growing stronger and more unpredictable, that mission may come at a cost. A quiet dirt road, a beautiful old house, and a history that refuses to stay buried. We head to Fonti Flora Plantation in Blair, South Carolina, where even the basic facts feel unsettled, including conflicting accounts of when the home was built and why so many sources disagree. From there, the story opens into a classic haunted plantation timeline: enormous acreage tied to a dowry, generational losses that literally gamble the land away, and Civil War damage that still leaves physical scars, including a fire started in the parlor and reports of charred walls hidden behind furniture. We also talk through the deeper layers that make paranormal locations feel heavy: arrowheads turning up after rainstorms that hint at Indigenous history, family members dying inside the home across decades, and the sad disappearance of stillborn grave markers that once stood near the house. We don't skip the hard topics either. Plantation history always includes slavery, and we wrestle with what it means to hear claims of “better treatment,” how oral histories shape what survives, and what's left undocumented. Then the haunting claims take over. We share reports of a violin playing in the attic that stops the moment someone approaches, doors pulled shut from the other side, and a documentary investigation that leans on familiar paranormal investigation tools like EVPs, a spirit box, and SLS mapping. The most unsettling turn is the Hat Man conversation, including our take that this presence may be personal and targeted rather than tied to a single haunted location. If you're into haunted history, ghost hunting evidence, and the psychology of fear, you'll have plenty to chew on. Subscribe for more paranormal stories, share this with the friend who can't resist a haunted house documentary, and leave a review if you want us to cover more haunted plantations and investigations. We are diving headfirst into your haunted evidence this week and let's just say… you delivered. From crystal-clear ghost photobombs in broad daylight to EVPs that feel highly intentional, we explore chilling proof that the paranormal is not just lurking, it's interacting. Evidence includes: A photo from the Stanley hotel, where a listener captured what appears to be a full-bodied figure of Mr. Stanley himself photobombing on a staircase in the middle of the day. A photo from a haunted tour appears to show a crouching, almost inhuman figure lurking between volunteers in the darkness. Security camera footage of what looks like a ghostly child sprinting across a yard, appearing and disappearing mid-frame as nearby lights flicker. An EVP recorded on the Queen Mary that responds directly to a listener, sounding like a child gently asking “are you okay” after she says she feels tense. Photos from Waverly Hills show a figure manifesting from disembodied feet into a full shadowy person standing among a tour group. Watch the video version here. Have ghost stories of your own? They spent the evening exploring the beautiful yet spooky Freemasons' lodge, where the students attempted to recreate the kinds of ghostly "evidence" typically featured on paranormal investigation shows. They went on pareidolia and orb-spotting hunts, using spirit boxes, EVPs, and thermometers to anomaly-hunt, intermixed with spirit communication tools, including Ouija boards, a psychomantium, and divination. 0:22:16 Anecdotes are not Evidence "I know it happened because it happened to me!" What happens when a viral app asks you to think of “death,” “scared,” or “answers” and then sends you to a random point on the map? We take a clear-eyed tour through Randonautica's strangest stories—EVPs in bright daylight, a rusted car on an ATV trail, a roadside fence lined with burnt dolls, and the headline-grabbing Seattle suitcase case—while asking whether intention steers chance or chance fills in our intentions. We break down what the app claims to do, how users set intentions, and why vague prompts can turn ordinary spaces into ominous ones. You'll hear how urban explorers landed at an abandoned house and met the police, why a couple's “scared” prompt ended with a white Mustang following them, and how a simple word like “orange” pointed to traffic cones. Along the way, we separate plausible coincidences from obvious fakes, explore how social media rewards the most extreme narratives, and consider the psychology that makes pattern recognition feel supernatural when fear is high and expectations are set. This isn't just a reel of shock stories. We talk risk, ethics, and practical safety: go in daylight, bring friends, avoid private property, and choose neutral or positive intentions if you're going to try it at all. Curiosity has value, but it also needs boundaries—especially when “random” routes can drop you into real danger or legal trouble. If you've ever wondered whether an app can bend fate, or whether we're just very good at finding meaning in the margins, this conversation will give you a grounded framework to think about both.If you enjoy thoughtful, spooky explorations with real-world takeaways, follow the show, share this episode with a curious friend, and leave a review to tell us what intention you'd set next. Part 6 in our "WTF was that Ending?" series is all about the 2005 Michael Keaton paranormal thriller White Noise, which is currently for rent or purchase on Amazon Prime. This movie had a very promising premise: a man loses his wife and starts to receive EVPs (electronic voice phenomenas) aka white noise with what sounds like his wife's voice, but that's not the only voice he pulls through; unfortunately, the ending fell flat. This is where we come in & re-write the ending once, twice or maybe more to fit the story just a tad bit better, if we do say so ourselves. Do you like the ending? If not, how would you change it? Ready for a season that actually hits the road? We're opening Season Six with a plan that's equal parts ambitious and grounded: Waverly Hills is booked, and six more investigations are mapped across a multi-state route designed to bring you new stories, new evidence, and a few legendary locations with fresh eyes. After a year packed with real-life detours, we're back with a tighter strategy, better pacing, and a promise to share the journey as it unfolds. We walk through what makes Waverly Hills so compelling—the scale, the history, and the fifth floor where we captured our longest EVP to date—and how we'll structure sessions to take advantage of long sightlines and quiet pockets. Then we widen the lens: Villisca Axe Murder House for true-crime intensity, the Squirrel Cage Jail for rotary-cell weirdness, Post-Town Elementary for documented activity and overnight experiments, plus the Gill House, the Bihl (Beal) Manor, and Loveland Castle to round out a lineup that blends famous haunts with under-the-radar gems. Each stop gives us a different acoustic profile, layout, and historical context, and we're leaning into that variety to compare what “evidence” looks and sounds like across spaces.Along the way, we revisit favorite moments that shaped our approach: footsteps pacing the Washoe Club hallway, pranks and sudden chills at the Stanley, and the simple truth that good energy often yields clearer EVPs. Our best captures rarely happen when we're stiffly interrogating the room; they happen when we're present, laughing, and paying attention. That mindset drives our road plan, our gear choices, and how we'll share updates—expect candid check-ins, behind-the-scenes clips, and a push for more YouTube content to bring you inside the investigation. If you love haunted history, field-tested methods, and a team that balances rigor with ridiculous laughter, you'll fit right in. Tap play, ride shotgun on the road trip, and tell us where you want us to investigate next. Subscribe, leave a review, and share this with a friend who believes good energy attracts great evidence.Thank you for listening to the Paranormal Peeps Podcast. Is the energy just residual from decades of death? Or is something more intelligent—and possibly sinister—anchored to the location? This is the haunted history of the Gooding TB Hospital—a place where spirits roam long hallways, shadows watch from corners, and the past refuses to die quietly. The Brickhouse Inn in Gettysburg may look like a charming pair of historic homes—but beneath the quiet exterior lies unrest. In this episode, we talk with manager Hannah Hilty about the property's two very different structures: the 1830s Welty House, which witnessed the full force of the Battle of Gettysburg, and the Victorian home built decades later on the same property. The Welty House is still carrying the marks of musket fire on its walls. Families hid in its cellar as soldiers fought just outside, and the land behind it became a temporary resting place for more than 30 Confederate soldiers. Those layers of trauma and emotion seem to echo through the space even now. Inside both homes, unexplained activity continues to surface—bells that ring with no one near them, EVPs responding to questions, phantom footsteps, shifting furniture, and the unmistakable presence of figures tied to the property's past. Some spirits feel young, some sorrowful, and others seem to maintain a watchful authority over the place they once called home. At The Brickhouse Inn, it seems history isn't just remembered—it's more like it refuses to leave. This is Part Two of our conversation. This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! Some people chase ghost stories. Others capture them. For the mind behind the Mondo Docs YouTube channel, documenting the paranormal isn't just about scares—it's about uncovering the forgotten spaces where silence and history collide. His passion for horror films and true documentary storytelling has taken him into abandoned houses swallowed by time, legendary hotspots like the Conjuring House, and the eerie halls of the Wildwood Sanitarium. But what he brought back wasn't always just footage. In this episode of The Grave Talks, he pulls back the curtain on what truly happens behind the scenes—where EVPs whisper through the static, camera rigs shift on their own, and soft, disembodied sighs drift through empty rooms. These aren't dramatizations. They're moments caught in real time, recorded long after the living have left. We explore what drives a creator to step into places most people avoid, what keeps him returning to locations shaped by tragedy and fear, and why some spirits seem eager to make their presence known when the red light on the camera flickers on. Some houses are abandoned. Some are only waiting. This is Part Two of our conversation. This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! When Jill Shelly, owner of the infamous Boyd House, finds a new haunted property, the spirits don't take long to introduce themselves. Her latest acquisition—the 1861 Masonic Lodge in Keithsburg, Illinois—carries a history as layered as its walls. Once a gathering place for Freemasons, it later served as a hotel and, some say, a brothel. Now, it's home to voices, shadows, and unexplained energy that refuses to rest. Jill returns to share the chilling discoveries within the lodge: EVPs of unseen children, shadow figures slipping through hallways, and rooms heavy with an atmosphere of secrecy. Are these lingering guests trying to communicate—or simply reminding the living that this was once their domain? From sacred rituals to restless hauntings, the 1861 Lodge is more than just another property—it's a portal into America's hidden past. This is Part Two of our converstion. Halloween week gets weirder than ever on The Box of Oddities as Kat and Jethro dive into the chilling mystery of electronic voice phenomena (EVPs) — and why some recordings might not come from the past… but from the future.
Happy haunt season, ghouls! We're kicking off October with a TON of paranormal evidence—ghost photos, videos and EVPs. This time, every single story comes with proof so you can see and hear the paranormal activity for yourself. Get ready for goosebumps, giggles, and the kind of evidence that makes you want to leave the lights on. Stories Include: At the Winchester Mystery House, a video captures a woman in white drifting past a window, complete with an EVP whispering, “I miss this house.” A roommate's demonic attachment makes itself known through hair pulling and an unnerving snapshot with glowing eyes. A tour of the notoriously haunted SK Pierce Mansion ends with strange energy shifts, payment glitches, and a chilling face appearing in a window photo. From the infamous Sally House, a recorder plays back an eerie little girl's singing while the house was empty. Security footage from a Pennsylvania shop shows unexplained glowing shapes floating through the room like ghostly fish. We laughed, we screamed, and we realized ghosts might be better at selfies than we are. Get tickets to the October 8th live show here. Watch the video version here. Have ghost stories of your own?
