This is not your average haunting — it's a bloodline wired to the other side. From the moment Devin was born, the dead knew his name. By six years old, he was leaving his bed every night at 3 a.m., drawn down a dark hallway he couldn't resist. The shadows would gather, breathing, watching. When he was ten, the house finally showed itself — hundreds of glowing eyes bursting open across the walls as whispers screamed his name. Most kids would've broken. Devin didn't. Something inside him woke up — something ancient, furious, inherited. Years later, his great-grandfather — long dead — appeared in a dream of blinding white light and pressed bloody handprints into his skull. Devin woke up burning from the inside out, marked, changed… activated. From that night on, the rules of the haunting flipped. Is this a story of a haunting — or a supernatural inheritance? Did his ancestors make a deal generations ago, binding the family to the unseen? Or is Devin proof that some bloodlines evolve to defend themselves — half human, half something the dark recognizes and fears? In this story of generational power, possession, and awakening, discover what happens when the dead stop hunting… and start obeying. Because sometimes the ghosts aren't after you. Sometimes… they're reporting for duty. #TrueStory #RealHaunting #HauntedFamily #ParanormalActivity #Ghosts #SupernaturalPower #TrueParanormal #BloodlineCurse #RealGhostStory #PossessionStory #HauntedHouse #TheDarkFearsHim Love real ghost stories? “So, I'd been listening to this conversation and I finally walked over and picked up a film off the rack. I handed it to the biggest guy and told him, this is it. Take this home and watch it and if it's not scary enough for you, I'll give you your money back when you return it.”“The guy came back the next day, and he handed me the case with the VHS tape in it. I asked him what he thought and he just had this look in his eye.”“'Scared the shit out of all of us,' he said. ‘Seriously man, I was so freaked out I barely slept last night. You were right – gotta be the scariest film in the store.'Have a question or comment? This week, the boys head back to Roman Polanski-ville for the third time to discuss the pivotal 1965 film “Repulsion”. This “dangerous” film is Polanski's first English-language movie, shot in London during the peak of the French New Wave (Polanski is a Polish-French filmmaker). “Repulsion” offers indie-film groundedness, a gritty reality, noir-inspired neorealism, and an upheaval of social values of the time- sexual liberation, classism, irony, and iconoclasm. Also, we all had different levels of enjoyment, which led to one of our finest broad conversations! Grab a beer and listen along. linktr.ee/theloveofcinema - Check out our YouTube page! When Phil and Clara Dandy first saw the house on McMahon Road in Hinsdale, NY, in the spring of 1970, they thought they'd found the home they could spend the rest of their lives in. Since the mid-1960s, the Phil, Clara, and their four children had been vacationing in rural western New York, and the house represented everything they loved about the tranquil region of the state. Within the span of a few months, they'd bought the house and that summer, they began their new life in the country.Unfortunately for the Dandys, their new slower pace of life didn't last long. Within a few months of moving into what would become known as The Hinsdale House, the family was besieged by disembodied voices, inexplicable sounds, and the presence of ghostly apparitions. In time, what began as bizarre occurrences and disturbing encounters became a daily battle for the health and safety of Phil, Clara, and their children.Want to visit??? In the frozen landscape of Finnish winter, 1885, the quiet croft of Efraim Martin in Ylöjärvi became the center of local attention thanks to a series of unexplainable events that saw almost the entire neighbourhood crowd into the small farmhouse. Rumours of the devils and demons wound through the township, as neighbors swore they saw an invisible force cause havoc throughout the otherwise peaceful home. The story spread like the winter frost, and soon the authorities themselves were forced to ask the question: was this trickery, or had the Devil truly come to Ylöjärvi?SOURCES Stenius, J. In religion and mythology, occultism and folklore, a demon (or daemon, daimon; from Greek daimôn) is a supernatural being that is generally described as a malevolent spirit; however, the original neutral connotations of the Greek word daimon does not carry the negative ones that were later projected onto it, as Christianity spread. In Ancient Near Eastern religions as well as in the derived Abrahamic traditions, including ancient and medieval Christian demonology, a demon is considered an "unclean spirit" which may cause demonic possession, to be addressed with an act of exorcism. In Western occultism and Renaissance magic, which grew out of an amalgamation of pagan Greco-Roman, Jewish and Christian tradition, a demon is considered a spiritual entity that may be conjured and controlled. - www.manaministries.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-x-zone-radio-tv-show--1078348/support.Please note that all XZBN radio and/or television shows are Copyright © REL-MAR McConnell Meda Company, Niagara, Ontario, Canada – www.rel-mar.com. The world of the paranormal, spanning millennia of human belief, is far more intricate and emotionally diverse than its current popular portrayal suggests. As we have explored, not every strange sound or unexplained shadow is a threat; in fact, the vast majority of reported spirit activity falls into the categories of benign human ghosts or neutral, energetic echoes of the past.

Long before horror movies or ghost-hunting shows, there was the Bell Witch — a real-life haunting so terrifying it became part of American folklore. In the early 1800s, the Bell family of Adams, Tennessee, were tormented by something unseen. It started with knocking on walls and grew into full-blown attacks — sheets ripped off, voices mocking them in the dark, and violent assaults on their daughter, Betsy. The spirit called itself Kate, but locals knew it as the Bell Witch. Even future president Andrew Jackson came to witness the haunting — and left convinced it was real. The witch claimed responsibility for John Bell's death… then promised to return every seven years — and again after a hundred. To this day, people near the Bell Witch Cave say they still hear whispers, see shadows, and feel the air turn cold around Halloween night. Was it a curse, a vengeful spirit, or something darker that still walks the land of Tennessee? #RealGhostStoriesOnline #BellWitch #HauntedTennessee #TrueGhostStory #AmericanHauntings #HalloweenSpecial #GhostStories #ParanormalPodcast #CursedGround #RealHaunting Love real ghost stories? It's Scary Story Day on the Tara Show — and the ghosts aren't just in your attic. Tara and Lee kick things off with eerie listener stories of haunted homes, ghostly voices, and flying dishes before diving into the real-life chills shaking Washington. From Donald Trump's late-night call to end the Senate filibuster to government shutdown fallout and cartel bounties on U.S. officials, Tara exposes a Halloween lineup of political horror that's stranger than fiction. As former Trump allies move onto military bases for safety, Tara connects the dots between media cover-ups, cartel threats, and a nation on edge.
A wet dog smell with no dog. A food bowl scraping the ground after it's been packed away. A bed dipping to make space for four familiar paws. Our Halloween special dives into the most compelling Reddit stories about ghost dogs—some tender, some chilling, all unforgettable—and asks what these moments might mean for people who loved a pet and had to let go.We start with a skeptic's tale that ties rain, timing, and a suitcase full of mysteriously soaked clothes to a beloved spaniel who “found” her human and led him home. From there, we share a series of intimate accounts: a dream that delivered a goodbye before the phone rang, a late-night closet disturbance that left someone frozen in a trance, and the eerie comfort of a guardian dog who reappears to lick tears and calm a shaken child. We also step onto the trail of the Black Dog of Hanging Hills in Connecticut, exploring how folklore, shared perception, and the outdoors amplify the uncanny. As trainers and dog people, we balance belief with behavioral insight. Why do dogs stare at corners, growl down stairwells, or bark past your shoulder as if someone's standing behind you? We talk sensory triggers, patterns, and grief's imprints—while acknowledging that some events resist neat explanations. You'll hear practical Halloween safety reminders for living pups too: crate or tether at the door, manage greetings, keep chocolate and wrappers out of reach, and update IDs.If you've ever felt a familiar weight settle at your feet or heard tags jingle in an empty hall, you'll feel seen here. Press play for a thoughtful blend of folklore, training perspective, and heart. Then tell us your story—subscribe, share with a friend who loves dogs, and leave a review with your take: comforting visitation or just a very good ghost?Visit us on the website here to see what we've got going on and how you can join our pack of good dogs and owners.
Castle Fraser in Aberdeenshire stands as one of Scotland's largest tower houses, concealing centuries of dark secrets within its 1450s core. Beyond the colourful walled gardens lies a fortress of hidden passages, including the laird's lug—a secret spy room for eavesdropping on the great hall below. The castle harbours chilling tales: the Green Lady, murdered and dragged down the round tower staircase, her blood staining the steps so permanently they required wooden panelling that remains today. Then there's the Lady in Black, who died of tuberculosis days after marrying Laird Frederick Mackenzie Fraser—her shaved auburn hair still preserved in the castle collection, whilst her spirit reportedly wanders the grounds. This Halloween special explores the haunting history of a Scottish landmark where architectural grandeur meets macabre legend, and where the vibrant colours of the gardens fade to something far darker within the ancient walls.Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/1eIoSw_-2dUSOURCES:Please see our website for all source material and photos at https://scottishmurders.com/episodes/castlefraserBritish Newspaper Archives Affiliate LinkSUPPORT US:Patreon - patreon.com/scottishmurdersKo-fi - ko-fi.com/scottishmurdersMerch - teepublic.com/user/scottishmurdersWebsite - scottishmurders.comTwitter - @scottishmurdersInstagram - @scottishmurderspodcastFacebook - facebook.com/scottishmurdursYouTube - @ScottishMurdersLinktree - linktr.ee/scottishmurdersCREDITS:Scottish Murders is a production of CluarantonnHosted & Edited by Dawn YoungResearched amd Written by Peter BullMUSIC:ES_Tudor - Bonnie Grace - epidemicsoundES_Creepy Crawly - Arthur Benson - epidemicsoundES_Happy Halloween, Creepy, Reversed, Reverb 02 - Epidemic Sound - epidemicsound

Joe Biden's sniffing of children's hair or nibbling on a child's shoulder. Those are things that are known to be creepy. In fact, just for fun this year, I asked Grok what politician is known to be the creepiest and this is what Grok said: Joe Biden- Why creepy? Long history of overly tactile interactions with women and kids—think sniffing hair, lingering hugs, and whispers that feel way too close for comfort

Are ghost meters fake? Parapsychologist Loyd Auerbach explains why EMF/K2 "ghost detectors" don't prove spirits, and what real apparition / poltergeist (PK) evidence looks like. We also cover residual vs active hauntings, over-attributed "demonic possession," mediums, and where the best data points. Parapsychologist Loyd Auerbach (45+ years investigating hauntings, poltergeists, and alleged possessions) lays out why "ghost meters" don't validate ghosts, you can't measure what you can't define. We dig into EMF/K2 beliefs, cold-spot / visible-breath movie tropes, how to tell residual/recording hauntings from active apparitions, where poltergeist/PK fits, why so many cases get mislabeled "demonic," and how to think about paranormal evidence if you're a skeptic asking do ghosts exist. Shepherdstown, West Virginia, may be small, but its history runs deep — and dark. Founded in 1762 along the Potomac River, it's one of the oldest towns in the state. On the surface, it's full of charm — brick sidewalks, historic homes, and the quiet hum of university life. But behind the beauty lies centuries of turmoil. Just three miles away, the Battle of Antietam became one of the bloodiest days in American history. When it ended, the wounded poured in by the thousands, turning every home, church, and business into a field hospital. Locals say the town was never the same — it seems that the ground itself remembers. Ghostly figures are seen near the riverbanks, whispers echo from the churchyards, and even Shepherd University has its share of unexplained encounters. Janet Hughes, owner of Shepherdstown Mystery Walks, knows these stories better than anyone. Through her tours, she reveals the layers of tragedy, resilience, and lingering energy that make Shepherdstown one of the most haunted towns in West Virginia. Is it history holding on—or something that refuses to let go? This is Part Two of our conversation. Get more information about her walking tours, at shepherdstownmysterywalks.com. The text detailed a remarkable opportunity. A unique one-off property ripe for modernisation, offering adaptable accommodation in a pretty hamlet five minutes from Ashbourne town centre. The home included a sitting room, a second reception room, a kitchen, a bathroom, a half-cellar/workshop, two bedrooms, a large landing suitable for conversion to a third bedroom, a rear garden, a former stable block, a coal store and a garden shed, all for the price of £69,950. However, nowhere in the listing was there mention of the ghosts who were said to live there… *** LISTENER CAUTION IS ADVISED *** This episode was researched and written by Eileen Macfarlane and Rosanna Fitton.Edited by Joel Porter at Dot Dot Dot Productions.Script editing, illustrations and production direction by Rosanna FittonNarration, additional audio editing and mixing, and script editing by Benjamin Fitton. To get early ad-free access, including Season 1, sign up for They Walk Among PLUS, available from Patreon or Apple Podcasts.More information and episode references can be found on our website https://theywalkamonguspodcast.comMUSIC: Royal Catacombs by Cody Martin Rhosphere by Cody Martin Titan by Cody Martin Ocean Of Worlds by Stephen Keech After The Fall by Wicked Cinema Crooked Man by Wicked Cinema Dark Places by Wicked Cinema Extinction by Wicked Cinema Folkloric by Wicked Cinema Hollow by Wicked Cinema Mainframe by Wicked Cinema Rag Doll by Wicked Cinema The Lantern by Wicked Cinema The Rite by Wicked Cinema The Unexplained by Wicked Cinema Veil Of Secrets by Wicked Cinema SOCIAL MEDIA: https://linktr.ee/TheyWalkAmongUsSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/theywalkamongus. In October 1985, four-year-old Timothy “TJ” Davison vanished from a grocery store parking lot in Decatur, Illinois — in broad daylight, while his aunt was just steps away. What followed was one of the most haunting mysteries in Central Illinois history: decades of silence, false leads, and another family disappearance that may be connected in ways no one ever proved.
