Trenton Battle brings nearly a decade of hands-on experience as a former field investigator with the Hopkins County Paranormal Society in Kentucky, where he actively investigated paranormal activity from 2013 to 2021. His work has taken him deep inside some of the most haunted places in America, where unexplained encounters, ghost sightings, and eerie phenomena are more than just stories—they're lived experiences. In this episode, we dive into Trenton's investigations at infamous locations like Waverly Hills Sanatorium, Bobby Mackey's Music World (often called a "portal to hell"), Octagon Hall, Perryville Battlefield, and properties connected to the Bell Witch haunting in Tennessee. These locations are known worldwide in the paranormal community for intense ghost activity, dark history, and chilling firsthand accounts from investigators and visitors alike. We also explore what it's really like to be a paranormal investigator—what happens during an investigation, how evidence is collected, and how to balance skepticism with open-minded curiosity in a field filled with both truth and exaggeration. Trenton shares insight into paranormal research, ghost hunting techniques, and the psychological impact of investigating haunted locations. But this conversation goes beyond ghosts. Trenton Battle is now the Kentucky State Representative for the North American Dogman Project, a growing organization dedicated to researching Dogman sightings and encounters across the United States. The Dogman is one of the most talked-about cryptids in modern paranormal and cryptozoology circles, often described as a large, upright, canine-like creature with intelligence and speed that defies explanation. In this episode, we discuss real Dogman encounters, witness reports, and the growing number of sightings that continue to raise questions about what may be lurking in remote forests and rural areas. Is the Dogman a misidentified animal, a cryptid, or something else entirely? We explore the theories, the evidence, and the stories that keep this mystery alive. If you're interested in paranormal investigations, haunted places, ghost hunting, cryptids, UFOs, conspiracy theories, and unexplained phenomena, this episode is packed with insight and real-world experience from someone who has spent years in the field. Whether you're a skeptic, a believer, or somewhere in between, this conversation will challenge what you think you know about the unknown. Topics Covered: Paranormal investigations and ghost hunting Haunted locations in the United States Waverly Hills Sanatorium investigation Bobby Mackey's Music World paranormal activity Bell Witch haunting and Tennessee legends Cryptids and Dogman sightings North American Dogman Project Real paranormal experiences and encounters UFOs, conspiracy theories, and alternative history Life as a paranormal field investigator Welcome to the 222 Paranormal Podcast, your gateway to the captivating world of the supernatural. Someone used Melissa Barthelemy's phone to call her 15-year-old sister for five straight weeks after Melissa vanished. Always under three minutes. Always from crowded Manhattan streets. Always targeting the teenager — never the mother. The calls described what had been done to Melissa in detail no stranger should have known. The burner phone Melissa had connected with on the day she disappeared traveled the exact route between Rex Heuermann's Massapequa Park home and his Midtown office. Hours later, Melissa's own phone followed that route back.Melissa was a licensed cosmetologist from Buffalo who came to New York chasing a dream of owning her own salon. She was 24. Prosecutors allege Heuermann searched for images of the victims' families online after the killings — their children, their sisters.Meanwhile, the family Heuermann came home to is fracturing in public. Asa Ellerup watched from the last row of the courtroom as her ex-husband admitted to killing eight women. She walked out into a wrongful death lawsuit naming her and their daughter Victoria as defendants. The suit, filed by the son of victim Valerie Mack, alleges the family profited from a documentary. Victoria has publicly stated she believes her father most likely committed the killings. Asa's attorney has called the allegations reckless.Retired FBI Counterintelligence Behavioral Analysis Program Chief Robin Dreeke and defense attorney and former prosecutor Eric Faddis join the panel to break down the psychology behind the taunting phone calls — what targeting a teenager reveals about the caller's need for control — the legal mechanics of the wrongful death suit and the family's civil exposure after the guilty plea, and the behavioral research on how families of serial offenders process the unthinkable when the evidence becomes undeniable.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Am I the Haunted? | Paranormal Podcast We're back with another Am I the Haunted, where we dig through Reddit's most unsettling paranormal confessions and hand out our completely unqualified verdicts — haunted, probs haunted, or not haunted. This episode, we've got a sister who's watched a nun appear in a wardrobe while a toddler asks questions that nobody in the house can explain, a teenager who's been followed since childhood by something that calls itself Sir and has apparently decided to start escalating, and someone who keeps waking up in places they definitely didn't fall asleep. No advice, no hotlines, just us reading, judging, and occasionally questioning everything we think we know about the line between paranormal and something else entirely.

Don Rearden is an author and an educator whose work is rooted in Alaska—its landscapes, its communities, and the complex realities shaping life across the North. His writing—both fiction and nonfiction—blends elements of survival, culture, and environmental change. Whether he's exploring a pandemic unfolding in the Arctic or a coastal village on the brink of relocation, his work is grounded in lived experience and respect for place. That respect comes from his upbringing in Southwestern Alaska. He says he's haunted by it, in a good way. Looking into homes left behind after an epidemic, running a dogsled team out across the ice to set a fish trap, how there was only one telephone in his entire community. Images like these he can return to anytime, not just for inspiration, but as a way of staying connected to where he comes from. He jokes that writing is his drug of choice because he's able to step outside his body, away from old injuries and the noise of the world, and can move freely through story. It's something he's always turned to as an escape. It's his way of traveling back to his youth in Southwestern Alaska, back to the tundra, the mountains, and the places that have defined him. It's a place where survival wasn't abstract, it was part of daily life. That time in a tight-knit community and nature has been a constant reminder of how much he still has to learn. It's also a reminder that Alaska isn't a place of extraction, but a place rich with stories, culture, and meaning. Across his writing, he returns to these themes again and again. There's survival, love, an appreciation for the fleeting nature of time, and a kind of magic rooted in the mystery of the world. He says that for too long these stories have been told from the Outside, but now it's time they're told from within.

What if the scariest thing in your home wasn't a ghost… but a painting you created yourself? In tonight's Weekly Spooky episode, a casual girls' night turns into a chilling supernatural nightmare when a woman discovers that her strange new artwork seems to know too much about her house, her life, and what is about to happen next. Haunted paintings, witches, cursed art, ghosts, and home invasion horror collide in one eerie tale that keeps getting darker every time you look closer. If you love scary stories, witch horror, haunted house tales, paranormal fiction, and stories where everyday life suddenly slips into something impossible and terrifying, this one is for you. “I Painted a Witch” blends domestic unease, occult mystery, creepy imagery, and supernatural dread into a nightmare about art that doesn't just reflect reality… it changes it. Lock the doors, leave the lights on, and look away before the painting looks back.I Painted a Witch — by Bruce Haney

This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!When seasoned paranormal investigator Eric Freeman Sims and his husband purchased the historic Knight House in Hopkinsville, they knew they were stepping into a piece of history—but they didn't expect that history to feel so present. For Eric, someone already familiar with the paranormal, the activity raises even deeper questions about what may still be tied to the home—and why.We explore the history of the Knight House, the encounters unfolding within its walls, and the possibility that some spirits don't simply fade with time. Tucked away in a tiny Indiana town, the Rhodes Hotel has lived many lives since 1893. What began as a glamorous Victorian inn during the gas boom era transformed into a brothel and speakeasy when times got tough. These days, it's known for something much darker. Guests report footsteps in empty halls, full conversations with no one there, shadow figures lingering just out of sight, and the unmistakable feeling of being watched… or even grabbed. And then there's the doll room. Packed wall to wall with vintage dolls, this space has become the epicenter of the hotel's paranormal activity. Add in a chilling childlike voice, a grieving spirit possibly reaching out for help, a ghost cat brushing past your legs, and storms that seem to charge the entire building with energy… and yeah, we're not staying the night without backup. This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! PART TWO In the 1987–1988 school year, a small American college dorm became the center of escalating paranormal activity that began with what many dismissed as a harmless experiment.A group of students started using a Ouija board for entertainment. What followed was anything but playful. Sessions became frequent—almost daily—and the responses grew more intelligent, more specific, and more personal. Then one spirit identified himself by name and began revealing details of his life and death, leaving those involved shaken. The events would later inspire the book The Devil's Board, a chilling account of how curiosity opened a door that proved difficult to close. This conversation explores what really happened inside that dorm, how quickly the atmosphere shifted from curiosity to fear, and why some believe the entity that answered was never just part of a game.#TheGraveTalks #TheDevilsBoard #OuijaBoard #ParanormalPodcast #TrueHaunting #CollegeHaunting #SpiritCommunication #HauntedDorm #RealGhostStory #SupernaturalEncounters #ParanormalInvestigation #AfterlifeMysteryLove real ghost stories?
