"Anti-Zionism" is now being equated to "Anti-Semitism" by Israeli partisans as well by the U.S. State Department. A recent international campaign orchestrated by four Zionist organizations, including the ADL, tried to prevent Alison Weir of If Americans Knew from speaking on the subject,  “Uncovered, Israel’s Occupation of Palestine,” (link to talk) at a community college in Fresno, CA by accusing her of being an "Anti-Semite." Local sponsor GV Wire did not back down and said they believed in free speech and would even sponsor another event featuring a supporter of Israel. The event went off with no protesters present as promised by the Israeli partisans. Fresno members of We Hold These Truths were there to support Alison Weir with signs like "No More Wars For Israel." Ms. Weir remarked that the campaign to stop her from speaking was the most intense that she has witnessed to date.  This 21-minute podcast reveals some interesting insights into the event and her attackers who appear to be becoming desperate in their attempts to prevent the truth of the Israeli occupation from being broadcast. We Hold These Truths' California, Central Valley, Outreach Director, Dave Jacobs, spotted media at the Fresno, CA airport, while he was driving by. He found out that President Donald Trumps' daughter, Ivanka was arriving in Fresno for a Republican fundraising luncheon. Dave retreived his signs and went back to the airport to greet Ivanka and her entourage. Chants of "No More Wars For Israel" can be heard on the video report showing Ivanka leaving the airport. With some super sleuthing, Dave was able to find out where Ivanka was heading for lunch. Then, Dave and his crew showed up at the offices of Harris Construction with some other protestors. This got reported in local TV news reports (1 min. 18 seconds).

Nothing unites Americans and Israelis like a good enemy to hate and wail about, and, to go to war against. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pulled out all the stops with his sophomoric slide show, "Iran Lied," designed to demonize Iran further by claiming Iran was pursuing nuclear weapon development, inspite of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) that limited Iran from developing nuclear weapons, since it was signed in 2015. Only problem is, it was all old news gong as far back as 2003. Israeli newspaper, Haaretz, challenged Netanyahu with an article, "After Netanyahu Speech, UN Reiterates Found No Traces of Iran Nukes." In this 25 minute podcast, Chuck Carlson and members of We Hold These Truths look into how Netanyahu's "discovery" could lead to war?  War has become the excuse most commonly used to cover up deficits and out-of-control spending. Simply stated, our politicians believe that if they can find a war to fight, no one will bother to look at how much money it costs, or where that money is coming from.  War is like a general anesthetic! As mentioned in the podcast, America even planned its wars on Iraw, Libya, Syria and Iran as was revealed by retired General Wesley Clark on a 2007 Democracy Now interview, "General Wesley Clark: Wars Were Planned - Seven Countries In Five Years." We say, "No MOre Wars For Israel."

Members of the vigil team from We Hold These Truths greeted messengers to the 2017 annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), held in Phoenix, Arizona. The vigilers were armed only with signs like "Choose Life, Not War," "Blessed Are The Peacemakers," "Where Are The Peacemakers?" and "No More Wars For Israel," and two fliers: "Choose Life Not War" and "Does The Bible Require Followers of Jesus to Support the Jewish State of Israel?" After over 200 vigils around the country, in terms of people engaged and fliers distributed, this vigil turned out to be one of our most effective ones, since we started them in Nov. 2002 at the First Southern Baptist Church of Scottsdale [AZ]. We told Dr. Moore, after his excellent sermon, that we hope that the SBC becomes part of the turning as described in our award winning documentary, Christian Zionism: The Tragedy & The Turning, Part I. Why is it that the teachings of Jesus, like "Love your neighbor as you love yourself" and "Blessed Are the Peacemakers," take a back seat to millions of Christians that are influenced by the religious dogma known as Christian Zionism? One of our first vigils was held in front of this church in November of 2002, four months before the second war on Iraq started. Back in 2002, our signs like "Choose Life Not War," "Who Would Jesus Bomb?" "Blessed Are The Peacemakers," and "No More Wars For Israel" must have befuddled the congregants at CCC, because they came out and raised the Israeli flag. The occasion for this most recent vigil at CCC was the hosting of a "God's Heart For Israel" event sponsored by the organization Together For Israel.
