Savage argues that an organized Islamist influence campaign is gaining ground in the United States. He contends that some figures within the right-wing movement have adopted anti-Jewish rhetoric by using the term "Zionist" and are amplifying narratives favorable to Iran. He then exposes the biased and antisemitic three member UN-linked commission that has accused Israel of committing genocide. He warns Americans to be vigilant after the socialist sweep in New York City elections. He fears that Zohran Mamdani is the tip of the spear to the Muslim Brotherhood and the beginning of a multi-stage strategy for Islamist expansion in the West.

Guest host Russell Dobular and online political commentator Blakeley discuss reactions to the New York City Democratic primary, arguing that many conservative commentators and pro-Israel figures are exaggerating fears about antisemitism and socialism following the victory of a candidate they refer to as "Mom Donnie." They mock claims that New York is collapsing, highlighting strong commercial real estate leasing data and dismissing warnings of a mass exodus, while criticizing what they see as coordinated messaging from political influencers and media figures.  The two argue that critics falsely conflate anti-genocide politics with antisemitism, with one sarcastically summarizing the narrative as: "One Jew beat another Jew in NYC, but because the winning Jew is against genocide, people are panicking." They conclude with Blakeley discussing the need for a more transactional relationship with politicians, emphasizing that voters should focus on policies and outcomes rather than developing emotional attachments to political figures, noting, "You're not dating these freaking people… you're using them to achieve a goal." Plus segments on the escalating feud between Candace Owens and Laura Loomer, AOC backing establishment politicians in the New York primaries and Ohio public schools telling kids to get married. Welcome to The Times of Israel's Daily Briefing, your 20-minute audio update on what's happening in Israel, the Middle East and the Jewish world. ToI founding editor David Horovitz joins host Jessica Steinberg for today's episode. With US President Donald Trump desperately attempting to end the war with Iran, Horovitz reviews the mixed messaging delivered by the US leader as he fawns over the Tehran regime's "nice, new" leaders and signs a "peace" deal that doesn't achieve any war goals but that he may think will keep alive his dream of the Nobel Peace Prize. Horovitz notes that the US readiness to authorize an Iranian role in Lebanon is undermining the unique readiness of the Beirut government to work with Israel toward a diplomatic, long-term arrangement. Rather than disconnecting Iran from Hezbollah -- an explicit war goal -- the US is essentially partnering with Iran regarding Lebanon's future, dooming the Israel-Lebanon talks it is currently hosting in Washington, DC. Our discussion moves on to Tuesday's New York City primaries, in which two virulently anti-Israel Democratic Socialists of America candidates and one progressive Democrat won elections against more established candidates, further bolstering Mayor Zohran Mamdani and his anti-Zionist politics in the rapidly changing city. HOW HAMAS TARGETED COLLEGE STUDENTS AND WON THE PROPAGANADA WAR: Interview With Warren Kinsella - Alan Skorski Reports

Canadian political strategist, attorney and best-selling author Warren Kinsella described a highly organized, well-funded international effort to spread antisemitic propaganda and delegitimize Israel in the wake of the Oct. 7 Hamas massacre, during a recent interview with Alan Skorski. Kinsella, whose new book “The Hidden Hand: The Information War And The Rise Of Antisemitic Propaganda” is a national best-seller, pointed to the rapid emergence of 2,500 protests worldwide — even as Israel was still identifying its dead, injured and kidnapped — as evidence that the demonstrations were not organic expressions of outrage but part of a premeditated campaign. “The sameness in the protests with the same slogans and messages, even if in different languages, the professional signs, and their acting in a way that was almost with military precision,” Kinsella said. He cited toolkits distributed by groups like Students for Justice in Palestine that instructed participants on whom to call if arrested and assured them that legal expenses would be covered. “It was the organization, money, and coherence that you just don't see in an organic spontaneous response to an event. It was clear that this was a ‘campaign,'” he added. Kinsella traced elements of the strategy back decades, referencing a 1993 meeting between American Jewish activist Gary Wexler and Israeli-Arab NGO leader Ameer Makhoul around the time of the Oslo Accords. According to Kinsella, Makhoul told Wexler that Palestinians would mirror and surpass Zionist campus activism, summer programs in refugee camps, global organizations and PR efforts — ultimately securing more media coverage. “They watched Jewish activism for decades, including programs like Birthright, and created their own infrastructure to dominate an information war against Israel,” Kinsella said. The author emphasized that young people have been prime targets of Hamas and its allies in Iran, Russia and Qatar. He cited a Harris poll showing that 70% of young Americans were more sympathetic to Hamas than to Israel following the Oct. 7 atrocities. Kinsella highlighted Hamas's “binary communication strategy,” noting the terror group's ability to livestream its horrors for recruitment among Arab and Muslim audiences while simultaneously denying responsibility for the massacre and blaming Israel to Western audiences. On the political front, Kinsella wrote that activists understand city councils do not set foreign policy but serve as “pillars and building blocks” that can influence higher offices and ultimately shape federal policy. He rejected claims that criticism of Israel is merely about policy, stating the campaign is rooted in antisemitism. Kinsella also debunked the blood libel accusing Israel of “genocide” in Gaza, describing Hamas as experts at provoking Israeli responses that produce civilian casualties for propaganda purposes. A prime example of media bias cited in the book occurred during President Joe Biden's visit to Israel in solidarity after Oct. 7. A rocket struck a Gaza hospital that day, prompting immediate headlines from The New York Times and other outlets accusing Israel of bombing the facility and killing hundreds. The story was later corrected — the hospital was barely damaged, casualties were minimal, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad was responsible — but the damage had already been done globally. Kinsella recently visited Israel for the premiere of his upcoming documentary “The Campaign,” based on the book, which examines the effort to delegitimize Israel, threaten Jewish communities worldwide and undermine Western democracy. “First they come for the Saturday people, then they come for the Sunday people,” Kinsella warned. -VIN News Watch the Interview on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FARX18QRslI&t=14s Watch the Trailer for Waren Kinsella's upcoming documentary, The Campaign: https://www.campaigndoc.com/ Alan Skorski Reports 24JUNE2026 - PODCAST

In this episode we are joined by Emmaia Gelman, author of The Anti-Defamation League and the Racial State, a critical history of the ADL as a Cold War neoconservative institution. Gelman excavates the Anti-Defamation League's origins as a white, settler colonial institution founded by German-Jewish elites—not to combat antisemitism broadly, but to manage class respectability and suppress Eastern European Jewish immigrant socialists whom they viewed as a racial and social threat.  Gelman looks back at how early Jewish settlers had built fortunes through participation in 19th-century US territorial expansion, Indigenous dispossession, and slavery's economic system, understanding themselves as white Europeans racially distinct from the "vermin" arriving from the Pale of Settlement. The ADL and its predecessor, the American Jewish Committee (founded 1906), operated as Progressive Era eugenicist charities designed to "correct and fix" rather than support self-determination, preemptively capturing Jewish political identity to prevent autonomous radical organizing. Gelman traces how the ADL evolved from an instrument of McCarthyite purges—coordinating mass firings of Jewish leftists in 1951, offering its services to McCarthy committee members, and abandoning Julius and Ethel Rosenberg to execution while denying antisemitism played any role in their prosecution (the judge who sentenced them sat on the ADL's Civil Rights Committee)—into a key architect of Cold War anti-communism and neoconservative "democracy promotion." The organization attacked Arab League representatives speaking about Zionist violence in Palestine as early as 1946, treating Palestinian and Arab organizing as "foreign insurgency" while framing Jewish fundraising for Israeli settlement as natural civic participation. After Israel's 1967 military victory, the ADL strategically re-racialized Jews as non-white within the framework of race liberalism, allowing it to cast Israeli militarism as defensive racial liberation and Arab calls for refugee return as antisemitic rather than anti-colonial. This racial pivot occurred precisely as European Jews had achieved economic whiteness through the GI Bill, suburbanization, and the collapse of university quotas—benefits systematically denied to Black populations through redlining. Emmaia Gelman is the author of The Anti-Defamation League and the Racial State, a critical history of the Anti-Defamation League as a Cold War neoconservative institution (UC Press, 2026) and co-editor of The Anti-Defamation League: A Critical Reader (Pluto Press, 2026). She co-hosts the podcast Unpacking Zionism. Emmaia is co-chair of the American Studies Association Caucus on Academic and Community Activism, and a longtime activist in New York City. She is the founding director of the Institute for the Critical Study of Zionism, which examines the political and ideological work of Zionist institutions in Palestine and transnational contexts. She researches the history of ideas about race, queerness, safety, and rights, and their production as levers in surveillance, "anti-terror", and war. As the Obama-era Memorandum of Understanding on US military financial aid to Israel is set to expire, Congress has added a provision to the National Defense Authorization Act for 2027 (Section 224) that would fully integrate the Israeli and US militaries, making the countries mutually dependent and giving the Zionist state full access to US intelligence. Clearing the FOG speaks with Benjamin Freeman of The Quincy Institute about the dangers of this section. For example, the new law would increase the power of the Israeli lobby over US politics, remove any limits on financial support, and end Congressional authority or oversight over aid to Israel. He also discusses what people can do to stop it. For more information, visit PopularResistance.org.

Jimmy and Americans' Comedian Kurt Metzger react to social media comments by Laura Loomer predicting a future terrorist attack in the United States, arguing that her warnings represent a transparent attempt to shape public opinion against a potential U.S.-Iran peace agreement. With so many pro-Israel voices like Loomer opposing diplomatic efforts with Iran, he points out that fear of terrorism is often used to justify continued conflict and support for Zionist political goals.  Citing commentary from Glenn Greenwald, the segment questions the timing of Loomer's remarks and suggests they could make people suspicious that any future attacks are actually false flags intended to renew war with Iran. Jimmy ultimately argues that aggressive policies by the Israeli government and its supporters create more hostility and insecurity for Jewish people rather than increasing their safety, saying, "If I was a Jew, I would be furious at people like Laura Loomer." Plus segments on the effort to ruin a student's life who rejected a internship saying he didn't want to "work for a Jew," and Glenn Greenwald disparaging podcaster Dave Rubin's intelligence and insisting that the "antisemitism slur" has lost its impact. Episode 4154 │ June 21, 2026 The colonists saw King George as Pharaoh and themselves as the new Israel. The Declaration of Independence was their petition to the courts of heaven. WHAT THIS EPISODE COVERS  Scott Kesterson and Rochelle Porto continue the Our Sacred Honor series with a timeline correction and deep dive into the summer of 1775 — mapping the simultaneous congressional actions of the Second Continental Congress against the Battle of Bunker Hill, the Olive Branch Petition, the Declaration of the Causes and Necessity of Taking Up Arms, and King George III's Proclamation for Suppressing Rebellion and Sedition, showing how these events were happening in parallel across a six-to-eight week information delay between the continents that the strategic minds of the era — particularly Adams — were already calculating and playing through. The episode surfaces a major understudied intelligence thread: Charleston Mechanics intercepting British correspondence that proved Superintendent of Indian Affairs John Stuart was actively weaponizing Creek and Cherokee nations as a second military front against the southern colonies — intelligence that destroyed Stuart's ability to operate from Charleston, forced him to flee to Florida, and gave Georgia Patriots the decisive argument that neutrality was no longer viable. The episode closes with a reading of Psalm 80 — the same passage Jacob Duché read to the Continental Congress — as the founding generation's own declaration that they understood themselves as the new Israel petitioning the courts of heaven, a framework that completely inverts the modern Zionist political theology being imposed on the 250th anniversary. KEY QUESTIONS ADDRESSED (3 bullets hard cap) How were the Olive Branch Petition and the Declaration of the Causes and Necessity of Taking Up Arms sent one day apart — and what does that simultaneous dual track reveal about the real strategic thinking behind the colonial leadership? What did the Charleston Mechanics discover about British Superintendent John Stuart's covert operation to weaponize Native nations against the southern colonies — and how did that intelligence change Georgia's position toward independence? Why did the Continental Congress read Psalm 80 and cast themselves as the new Israel with King George as Pharaoh — and what does that theological framework reveal about who our founding fathers actually were? Shalom Dykes launched with no idea who would show up, only to draw hundreds, then 600, then 2,500 signatures on an open letter. Nate reflects on what it means to need your community's safe spaces while being told you no longer belong in them, the painful double life of watching a wife check hostage lists each morning while colleagues with no personal connection to the conflict demanded performative statements, and why building joyful, visible Jewish queer community is itself an act of resistance and hope.Guest: Nate Shalev, Co-founder of Shalom DykesConsider DONATING to help us continue and expand our media efforts. Episode 4153 │ June 21, 2026 Happy Father's Day! Esau's birthright was stolen by Jacob. In 1948 Esau returned pretending to be Jacob to take it back. Scripture called it. WHAT THIS EPISODE COVERS  Scott Kesterson and Brad Cummings deliver one of the most theologically and historically dense episodes of Digging Into the Word yet — tracing the straight line from William Penn's founding vision of "let's see what love can do" through the first and second Great Awakenings, the Scofield Bible, the Rothschild-backed Balfour Declaration, and the deliberate naming of the 1948 state as Israel rather than Judea — arguing that Christian Zionism is not a biblical position but a 19th century theological construct engineered by oligarchs to co-opt evangelical Christianity into geopolitical service. Brad Cummings unpacks the Jacob and Esau inheritance law, explaining that God's promise to restore Esau's stolen birthright is actually the biblical framework for understanding why the modern state exists — and why God is allowing it — while making clear this has nothing to do with the unconditional chosen-people theology that has captured the American church. The episode closes on the covenant simplicity that Penn embodied and Adams was moved by: there is no way forward for this nation that does not begin with returning to the living God — not as a religious proposition, but as the only king the republic was ever designed to have. KEY QUESTIONS ADDRESSED  What is the biblical case that the modern state of Israel represents Esau's restored birthright — and why does calling it Israel rather than Judea matter theologically and geopolitically? How did the Rothschild-backed Scofield Bible, dispensational theology, and Oxford Press combine to manufacture Christian Zionism as a tool of oligarchic geopolitical design — and who paid the preachers? What did William Penn's founding vision of Pennsylvania as "let's see what love can do" establish as the seed of the American covenant — and how do we return to it from where we are now? After roughly seven years and 132 episodes on Badlands, Taking it Back wraps up with the full crew back together: Adel Nero, Zak Paine, and Frankie Val. They open with a long reminiscence, from Patriot Soapbox and the early Q days to Adel's decision to finally show his face, Frank's brave early example, and Zak getting hooked on the boards before there was a public movement. From there, the conversation shifts to the news of the week: Trump's stunning pivot on Israel and Iran. Frank takes a victory lap on having been called a Zionist for not attacking Trump's Iran posture, and Zak lays out the full strategic argument that Trump's public posture toward Israel was never meant to be taken at face value. He walks through the Iranian government restructuring, the new Middle East security agreements, and why Israel's continued provocations are isolating them on the world stage. They dip into the Promethean Action thesis on the City of London as the puppet master, work through Zak's Venn diagram of overlapping deep state, banking, and Jewish identity, and close with a Pennsylvania minor league team forfeiting a game rather than wear pride sleeves. Last call, sentimental and sharp.

A formal legal demand letter had been sent to the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) over its upcoming “Nakba” exhibit, “Palestine Uprooted: Nakba Past and Present.” There are broad concerns that the exhibit promotes a one-sided, historically inaccurate Palestinian Arab narrative that delegitimizes Israel, erases Jewish history, and risks inciting antisemitism. Even incitement to violence with slogans by some of its proponents to eliminate the Zionist disease. It calls on the museum to pause the exhibit, ensure balance, and comply with its mandate as a publicly funded human rights institution. He claims the deal largely restores conditions similar to the earlier Iran nuclear agreement while providing Iran with significant economic benefits, including access to frozen assets and potential reconstruction funding.  Jimmy contends that Iran achieved almost all of its objectives while the White House is attempting to frame the agreement as a diplomatic victory. The discussion also focuses on disagreements over the deal's details, the future of sanctions, the Strait of Hormuz, Israel's role in the region, and the broader implications for U.S. foreign policy. The modern relationship between the Vatican and the State of Israel is rooted in a long history of hostility between Judaism and Roman Catholicism. Through the centuries, popes and theologians marginalized the Jewish people, assigning them collective guilt for the death of Jesus Christ and claiming that the sacred territory of Palestine was the true patrimony of the Roman Catholic Church. With the advent of political Zionism in the nineteenth century, Catholic fears of a Jewish-dominated Palestine were renewed. Contesting Zion: The Vatican, American Catholics, and the Partition of Palestine (McGill-Queen's UP, 2025) examines the relationship between the Vatican and the Zionist movement from the Balfour Declaration in 1917 to the first decade of Israeli statehood. Adrian Ciani considers the transnational nature of Catholic responses to Zionism and the creation of Israel, with a focus on the Catholic Church in the United States. From the 1920s through the 1950s, American Catholic leaders became crucial intermediaries between Washington and the Vatican. Speaking as both loyal American citizens and devout Catholics, they were uniquely positioned to articulate the Vatican's policy objectives to the American government, including on the future of Palestine. American Catholics were also instrumental in advocating the church's Palestine policy at the United Nations, playing a central role in the Holy See's attempts to shape the twentieth-century international order. Is Zionism embedded in the Quran itself? According to Muslim activist and interfaith leader Anila Ali, the answer is yes. In this fascinating conversation, Anila joins Rabbi Pesach Wolicki and Pastor Doug Reed to explain why she believes that the Quran affirms the Jewish people's connection to the Land of Israel, why she proudly calls herself a Muslim Zionist, and why much of the Muslim world's hostility toward Israel stems not from Islamic theology but from modern political movements. Drawing on her own upbringing, her study of Islamic texts, and her work building Muslim-Jewish partnerships, Anila offers a strikingly different vision of Islam than the one most people encounter in the headlines. The discussion explores her efforts to bring Muslim delegations to Israel, the reactions of those who discover a reality very different from what they expected, and the personal cost she has paid for speaking publicly in support of Israel and the Abraham Accords. Whether you agree with her or not, Anila presents a perspective that challenges assumptions and invites a deeper conversation about faith, history, and the possibility of peace.

Peter Beinart is a writer and author who has contributed to The New Republic, The Atlantic, and The New York Times. He grew up a committed Zionist and has spent the last decade publicly refuting that position, arriving at the view that Israel cannot be reconciled with the principle of equality under the law. His most recent book, Being Jewish After the Destruction of Gaza, caused shock waves in the Jewish world. In this conversation, Coleman and Peter debate the Palestinian right of return and whether it's comparable to Israel's Law of Return for diaspora Jews. They argue over whether a one-state solution would produce equality or civil war, and whether the idea of comparing Israel to South Africa holds up under scrutiny. They get into the role of jihadist ideology in the conflict, whether Iran constitutes an existential threat to Israel, and what it would actually mean for Israel to be a democracy. Drawing on nearly 20 years leading a congregation in Montreal, he offers a unique perspective on the rise of antisemitism in Canada, warning that the U.S. may be heading down the same path if university-driven ideologies continue to go unchallenged among elites. The conversation dives into the tension rabbis face between staying above politics and stepping into the arena when Jewish survival is at stake, how synagogues should handle platforming anti-Zionist voices, and the importance of grounding yourself in truth when faced with bad-faith propaganda. Rabbi Steinmetz also reflects on how to engage young Jews who live in modern "cocoons," disconnected from community, history, and the generations before them, urging them to "become a butterfly" and reconnect with something larger than themselves.Guests: Rabbi Chaim SteinmetzConsider DONATING to help us continue and expand our media efforts. Jewish Cardiologist Testifies Before Congress on Antisemitism in Major Doctors Union - Alan Skorski Reports

In a recent interview with Alan Skorski, Dr. Jacob Agronin, a cardiology fellow, detailed the antisemitism he and other Jewish physicians face within their union — the Committee of Interns and Residents (CIR) — and explained why he felt compelled to testify before Congress. Dr. Agronin appeared before the House Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions to highlight what he described as the union's adoption of positions aligned with Hamas and Hezbollah supporters, amid broader concerns about antisemitism infiltrating healthcare — a field many expected to remain free of political and religious conflict. CIR, which represents more than 37,000 physicians and is affiliated with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), has passed resolutions declaring Israel guilty of “apartheid” and “genocide,” endorsing the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, and directing the union to oppose candidates who support legislation criminalizing BDS. The resolutions also reject equating antisemitism with anti-Zionism and claim that concerns over rising antisemitism are being exploited to stifle anti-Zionist organizing, according to Agronin's testimony. The union has also expressed support for figures associated with Hamas and Hezbollah, including Mahmood Khlail, a former Columbia University student targeted for deportation by the Trump administration. In his interview with Skorski, Agronin recounted noticing troubling signs about the union approximately a year ago when his hospital voted to join CIR. He described being disturbed by the organization's focus on anti-Israel positions that have nothing to do with patient care or medicine. When asked what motivated him to testify, Agronin told Skorski: “I didn't want any of this… but someone had to stand up and say something.” Agronin, a cardiology fellow at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, emphasized two primary concerns for Jewish doctors: being forced to pay dues to a union they did not choose that targets them and Israeli colleagues, and the politicization of medicine. He argued that CIR's resolutions align it with activists who disrupted college campuses following the Hamas-led Oct. 7, 2023, massacre in Israel. In the interview, Agronin noted that he first became aware of rising antisemitism on college campuses about 10 years ago and was surprised to see it extend into healthcare. He connected with the American Jewish Medical Association and the National Right to Work Legal Defense Fund for support before his congressional testimony. The testimony and interview come as reports of antisemitism in medical settings — including calls to exclude Israeli doctors and hostile environments for Jewish patients and providers — have increased since Oct. 7 -VIN News Watch the interview on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ni9pERXNv2Q Alan Skorski Reports 14JUNE2026 - PODCAST

Video link to this conversation: https://youtu.be/92Q4LAxh_UgA year ago, Pearl sparked one of the most heated discussions on this channel. As a Satmar Hasidic woman, she shared her views on the Holocaust, anti-Semitism, Israel, and Zionism—views that many viewers strongly disagreed with. The response was intense. In this conversation, I sit down with Pearl again and ask her how she feels about the backlash, whether she regrets speaking so openly, and why she continues to stand by her beliefs. This interview is not about agreeing or disagreeing. It is an opportunity to hear, in Pearl's own words, how a deeply religious Hasidic woman understands Jewish history, suffering, faith, anti-Semitism, and the role of Israel in the modern world.Whatever your perspective, I hope this conversation helps illuminate a worldview that is rarely heard and often misunderstood. As always, please keep the discussion respectful. You can find many of my other podcasts with Pearl on podcast apps or on Youtube through this playlist:https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhW2QoO54ycylVdMte0xOgmKWkyksKzyvBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-frieda-vizel-podcast--5824414/support.

Millennials Are Killing Capitalism

In this episode, Nihal El Aasar returns to this podcast to discuss the competing progressive alternatives in the Arab world prior to the establishment of the State of Israel. Arab attempts to join capitalist systems were obstructed by British and Zionist colonial power, leading to the maintenance of a hegemonic state. We also reference the Union of Arab States and the role of the Zionist entity in hindering regional development. Gamal Abdel Nasser and other leaders in Egypt attempted to create a sovereign economic and political space through nationalist projects. This was actively resisted by Western powers and seen as a threat to imperialist interests. The theory of dependency, as developed by Samir Amin, highlights how underdevelopment in the global South is the result of the expansion of global capital. Nihal argues that while Nasser's project was popular and supported by the masses, his distrust in popular participation and repressive actions against intellectuals helped prevent the project from fully being actualized. The formation of Israel was intertwined with Western efforts to manage the political future of the so-called Middle Eastern region. Israel has hindered the Arab modernization project and has negatively affected the surrounding countries. We discuss how Israel exists in the region to halt the potential of the Arab people as a whole. This is done through repression, impoverishment, and preventing economic prosperity. The U.S. interests in extraction and controlling resources in the region also play a role in this. Apart from that, we meditate on Egypt's early 20th century role as a leader in the Arab world and the expectations placed on its military and economy for stability and development being largely shaped by its history of conflict with Israel and the continued presence of Zionism in the region. The military's control of the economy, rise of religious fundamentalism, and prevalence of conspiracy theories can all be traced back to this relationship. Additionally, Egypt's 20th century development was and continued to be hindered by both structural pressures from outside and its own struggle with overextension as a newly decolonized nation. The working class in Egypt consisted mainly of peasants who were oppressed under the Egyptian monarchy. Land reforms were necessary for progress and industrialization was slowly taking place. From the start, Egyptian nationalism was formed in opposition to Zionism. Nasser faced challenges from the US and its allies and had to build up the Egyptian military in response. We discuss how the nationalization of the Suez Canal and the creation of the United Arab Republic were unprecedented events, but internal struggles and external interference ultimately led to its downfall. The Gulf monarchies have also been deeply intertwined with imperial and capitalist interests since their founding, making them a natural opposition to Arab socialist and progressive projects. The 1973 oil embargo, El Aasar argues, was the last major act of Arab unity but was not an altruistic act of solidarity. The embargo affirmed the importance of the petrodollar for the US and was influential in bringing about the Camp David Accords, which aimed to consolidate the petrodollar and move Egypt fully from the Soviet camp to that of the United States. We meditate on the significance of Camp David and the 1978 peace treaty between Egypt and Israel, arguing that it represents a betrayal of Egyptian sovereignty and a move towards neoliberalism and repression. She also highlights how this has instilled a defeatist mindset in Egyptians and led to ongoing struggles with poverty and domestic warfare. She argues that the current regime in Egypt is a continuation of the "Camp David Republic" and that the promised benefits of peace, such as prosperity and political openness, have been left unfulfilled.   If you like what we do and want to support our ability to have more conversations like this. When Mayor Zohran Mamdani refused to march in New York City’s Israel Day parade - the first mayor of the city to do so in over 60 years – “did not surprise” Rabbi Josh Weinberg, who participated in the parade. But the liberal Zionist Reform rabbi was surprised to discover that he was marching alongside far-right ministers like Bezalel Smotrich and members of the Kahanist Otzma Yehudit party. Had he known, said Weinberg, Vice President of the URJ for Israel and Reform Zionism, speaking on the Haaretz Podcast, he would’ve held a sign making it clear that “Smotrich’s Zionism does not reflect our ideology at all, and is in fact antithetical to who we are as Jews and Zionists, and even as Americans. His brand of racism, discrimination, xenophobia – everything that he stands for – we want to totally reject while still maintaining our love and support for Israel." Weinberg added that a statement by Smotrich that the New York event resembled the Jerusalem Day flag march – an event regularly marked by harassment and violence towards Palestinians in the city – made him “want to throw up.” Also speaking on the podcast, Haaretz's New York correspondent Etan Nechin said that the Israeli ministers in the parade presented their presence as an “act of defiance by the Israeli Knesset and by the Israeli government” to “show” Mamdani. Assessing the mayor’s relationship with the Jewish community over the first six months of his term, Weinberg praised Mamdani’s initiative to increase spending to secure Jewish institutions with the rise of antisemitism, but regretted his boycott of the parade and his high-profile commemoration of Nakba Day online. Nechin countered with his belief that Mamdani had taken advantage of harnessing his popularity to take advantage of “this sudden historic opportunity to platform and champion Palestinian voices.” Mamdani, he said, “is a symptom of American public opinion – especially young Americans who are having conversations about Israel and Palestine, but not on Israeli or Jewish terms. It’s something that the Jewish community and Israelis will need to contend with.” Read more: Majority of Americans Hold Unfavorable Opinion of Israel as Confidence in Netanyahu Plummets, Pew Survey Finds 'We're Done Apologizing': Inside the Israeli Far Right's Big Weekend Out in New York Mamdani 'Offended' by Participation of Far-right Israeli MKs in Israel Day Parade Nearly Half of Young U.S. Jews Want to Replace Israel With Binational State, Poll Finds How Trump's Second Term Marks the Ascendance of The New Jewish Orthodox RightSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Steven Spielberg recently said that his new movie “Disclosure Day” would specifically challenge the faith of Christians. The release window was set for the same date that Anna Paulina Luna, Jared Moskowitz, Eric Burlison and Tim Burchett gathered in Washington again to tell thrift store versions of science fiction with zero evidence. Uri Geller then sat down with Haim Eshed the next day to talk about the Men in Black and Galactic Federation, neither of which was reinforced with evidence. Instead, the men both said the public isn't ready for the truth about the GF. What has been seriously overlooked about all of this “disclosure” is that most of the main players, if not straight up liars and scammers, are Jewish and / hardcore zionists. In fact, the foundation of “ancient aliens”is rooted in the work of the child of a Torah scholar family named Matest Agrest and the work of a medieval rabbi named Moshe Ben Nackhman. Why? Because although not exclusively some sort of Jewish conspiracy, the fact is the rabbinical views on Jesus as a wicked magician and a fraud connect well with the idea that he was an alien. But default, if Jesus was an alien, then by the Christian standard today he would also be a demon.*The is the FREE archive, which includes advertisements.
