In this episode of AACS Today, Matt and Jamison explore the shifting landscape of religious liberty and the emergence of a "new day" in Washington, D.C. The discussion focuses on the recent work of the Religious Liberty Commission and the Department of Justice's Anti-Christian Bias Task Force, which were established to investigate the "weaponization" of government mechanisms against Christian institutions.Through a detailed look at cases involving Liberty University and Grand Canyon University, the hosts illustrate how administrative processes have been used as punishment, often resulting in fines significantly higher than those issued to secular universities for arguably more severe violations. The episode also addresses the "Rededicate 250" event and Speaker Johnson's articulation of the foundational American belief that human rights are endowed by God rather than granted by the government. Concluding with a call to "eternal vigilance," listeners are encouraged to participate in the upcoming public comment period for the Commission's report to help preserve religious conscience and practice for future generations.
Welcome back to the Word on Fire Show. I'm Matthew Petrusek, senior director of the Word on Fire Institute and the host of the Word on Fire Show. Thank you for joining us. Although not widely reported in legacy media outlets, Christianity is, by far, the most persecuted religion in the world. From the Middle East and Africa to India, China, North Korea, and elsewhere, Christian communities regularly experience widespread humiliation, imprisonment, kidnappings, expulsions, and even murderous mob violence. While not as severe, Christians in parts of Europe and even right here at home, in the US, also often endure discrimination, exclusion, and ridicule. There is no ambiguity about who is carrying out these attacks or what motivates them. Like the martyrs of past centuries, millions of our Christian brothers and sisters are currently suffering because they profess faith in Jesus Christ. In response to this ongoing outrage, Bishop Robert Barron has released a new book called What Do Their Deaths Demand? Christian Persecution Today. Intended for widespread distribution, the book spotlights heartbreaking stories of the continued targeting of Christian communities throughout the world, offers a theological explanation for why Christianity has been under assault since its inception, and, most importantly, provides actionable ideas for what all of us can do to respond. Here to discuss the book—and why its message is more urgent than ever—is Bishop Robert Barron. Topics Covered 00:00 | Introduction 01:38 | The final meeting of the Religious Liberty Commission 02:51 | Why this book, and why now? 05:16 | Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa's foreword 06:46 | Aid to the Church in Need 07:47 | Why Christian persecution is largely ignored 09:00 | Part 1: The Most Persecuted Religion 15:36 | Part 2: Why the Persecution of Christians? 22:41 | The fundamental quandary 25:09 | Part 3: So What Can We Do? 32:09 | Listener question: Should we present the crucifixion more positively? 34:38 | Join the Word on Fire Institute Links: Word on Fire Institute: https://institute.wordonfire.org/ NOTE: Do you like this podcast? Trump posts an AI-generated image of himself as a Christ-like figure, and suddenly that's what sparks outrage from Christians?! In this shorter "TGIA Light" episode, we dig into the bizarre backlash, the selective standards of blasphemy, and what it reveals about modern religious and political loyalty. We also look at how pastors are increasingly using AI tools like ChatGPT to write sermons, and check in on Trump's "Religious Liberty Commission," which seems more interested in rewriting church-state separation than protecting it. Tucker Carlson told his audience that Muslims love Jesus. But is that true? Islam claims Jesus as a prophet while denying His deity, His crucifixion, and His resurrection. The Quran rewrites the gospel and replaces it with a competing narrative. In this episode of G3 Weekly, Scott Aniol examines Tucker's theological claims — including his suggestion that Trump may be the Antichrist — and explains why faithful Christians must test the spirits, even when the errors come from voices on their own side. Also this week: Russia drops a precision bomb on a Baptist church during a prayer meeting in Ukraine. Trump's Religious Liberty Commission declares there is no separation of church and state — and we explain why the Reformed tradition says that's the wrong correction. And Carl Trueman releases "The Desecration of Man," arguing that modernity doesn't just ignore God — it actively delights in destroying His image.4 STORIES THIS WEEK:Russia Bombs Baptist Church in UkraineReligious Liberty CommissionTucker Carlson, Islam, and the AntichristCarl Trueman: The Desecration of ManFor more helpful resources, visit G3+ at plus.g3min.org. The recent surge of Christianity has been heavily influenced by vocal Catholics, or at least those who give them the platforms to speak. This includes Candace Owens, Tucker, Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Nick Fuentes, etc. It has also been influenced by is Israel propaganda in making a link between Jesus and the modern state of Israel. The First Amendment guarantees religious freedom from both restriction and force. It applies to atheists as much as it applies to Islam and general Christianity, including Catholicism. The question is, are Christians in general willing to allow their faith to be mocked because of Jewish propaganda; are Christians willing to allow Catholics to be targeted by people like Douglas Wilson, and Pete Hegseth, in the name of the defeating antisemitism or religious competition? The same goes for free speech. Are we willing to tolerate mockery and restriction of both religion and speech for the benefit of one group or another? Are we really unable to see that lowering a group from the position of superiority that they placed themselves in, and treating them not with special privileges but with blind equality, is not hateful or antisemitic? On the other hand, are we really unable to see that people who elevate themselves over others in these ways are really anything but human. Ion their attempt to appear morally and spiritually superior, they belittle the rest of humanity, proving that they are not superior or equal; they are inferior because they are a threat to civilization and the law which holds it together. When it's acceptable to condemn one group and not another with speech, then we do not live in a free society. When Carrie President Prejean Boller, a Catholic, can be fired from the Religious Liberty Commission for expressing her religious views, we do not have religious freedom.*The is the FREE archive, which includes advertisements. What we have been watching for the past 15 months is not revival, it's not repentance, and it certainly is not a return to biblical New Testament Christianity under the apostle Paul. It is a political-religious machine, a power network dressed up in patriotic language, cross symbolism, culture-war rhetoric, and celebrity access. Welcome to the Evangelical Industrial Complex, the ‘crown jewel' of the falling away.“I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:” Revelation 2:2 (KJB)On this episode of the Prophecy News Podcast, Trump's second White House formally established a White House Faith Office in February 2025, and then created a Religious Liberty Commission in May 2025. Franklin Graham was named as one of the commission members, and the White House also announced advisory-board appointments tied to that same commission. The Evangelical Industrial Complex surrounding Trump is a blended coalition of evangelical celebrity, political access, Roman Catholic symbolism, nationalist messaging, and media-stage religion. Erika Kirk now leads Turning Point USA, and Trump appointed her to the U.S. Air Force Academy Board of Visitors. Jack Posobiec was photographed holding up a rosary while speaking at Charlie Kirk's memorial in September 2025. Pete Hegseth publicly described his Jerusalem cross tattoo as a “historic Christian symbol,” while coverage of the controversy also notes his “Deus vult” tattoo, a phrase tied historically to the Roman Catholic Crusades. Yesterday, the White House quickly deleted a video of Trump's spiritual advisor Paula White comparing his presidency to the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ that quickly sparked outrage all across social media. Today we break it all down for you, plus give you the very latest updates on World War Trump happening now in the Middle East.

As you can read elsewhere on MinistryWatch, the Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives is now 25 years old. Despite the good intentions of those who founded it, the office – like many government entities – has outlived its usefulness and needs to end. Resources mentioned in today's program: David Kuo's 2006 book Tempting Faith. 2001 Cato commentary “The Federalist Case Against Faith-Based Initiatives” by Robert Levy. 2001 Cato briefing paper “Corrupting Charity: Why Government Should Not Fund Faith-Based Charities” by Michael Tanner. Richard Land, longtime president of the Southern Baptist Convention's Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission and now Executive Editor of The Christian Post expressed strong reservations, famously warning that government “shekels” would bring “government's shackles.” Marvin Olasky, a key intellectual figure behind “compassionate conservatism” and an advisor to George W. Bush during his Texas governorship, played a role in conceptualizing the original Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, as early as 2002 began to have concerns about the office. The producer for today's program is Jeff McIntosh. Until next time, may God bless you.
On this episode of WPR, new guest James joins Cody, Sarah, and Evan as we pick up where we left off last time (is someone like Talarico truly speaking for Christianity?). We also look at President Trump's controversial Religious Liberty Commission, the decline of Catholic attendance, women being forced to have c-sections, some people claiming to see aliens while on DMT, homeless policy failures, and labor hypocrisies. Whew, that's a lot! Lean more at theologybythepint.org.
When Valerie Kloosterman requested a religious accommodation for referring patients for gender-transition drugs or procedures, the University of Michigan Health System not only denied her request - they fired her for making it. Hospital officials also attacked her even though she had explained that she couldn't refer patients for these procedures because they conflicted with her Christian faith. Watch Valerie's testimony from Monday's Religious Liberty Commission meeting.
After we cover state/church news in Colorado, Kansas, Missouri and Maryland, FFRF attorney Chris Line dissects the so-called "Religious Liberty Commission" and FFRF attorney Nancy Noet tells us about this week's decision by an Arkansas court permanently enjoining the state from displaying the Ten Commandments in public classrooms.
It's Wednesday, March 18th, A.D. 2026. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Timothy Reed Swedish Christian family guilty of “religious extremism” for going to church The European Court of Human Rights refused to hear an appeal of a Swedish Christian family in a case involving parental rights and religious freedom. Back in 2022, officials in Sweden separated Daniel and Bianca Samson from their two eldest daughters. The state found no evidence of abuse but accused the family of “religious extremism” for simply attending church three times a week. Morales Sancho, Legal Counsel for Alliance Defending Freedom International, stated, “The element of religious discrimination is also unmistakable in this case. The state labeled the family as religious extremists solely because of their active practice of their Christian faith.” Psalm 14:4 asks, “Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up My people as they eat bread, and do not call on the LORD?” Swedish population embraces sexual perversion Sadly, people in Sweden are the most likely to view homosexuality as morally acceptable in a recent Pew Research survey. The study surveyed 30,000 people across 25 countries. People in European countries were also among the most likely to be morally accepting of homosexuality, abortion, and divorce. Christianity's decline in England People in Britain are worried about the decline of Christianity in the nation. A study by Whitestone Insight found that 52% of Brits believe that drifting from their Christian roots is bad for future generations. Fifty-eight percent also said that Christianity plays a beneficial role in public life. This comes as Christian identification has declined. Only 44% of adults in Britain identified as Christian last year, down from 54% in 2018. Carrie Prejean, who objected to Zionism, was fired by Trump's religious liberty commissionIn the United States, a member of the U.S. President's Religious Liberty Commission, Carrie Prejean Boller, was removed from her position after she registered opposition to Zionism last month. A recent convert to Catholicism, Boller challenged the tenets of Zionism, claiming they were incompatible with her faith. She also sent a letter to President Donald Trump after her removal, explaining her misgivings. She appeared on the podcast of LifeSiteNews.com editor John-Henry Western. BOLLER: “I know there's three Catholics that are thinking about running for president in 2028 so I don't think now is the time to really dismiss Catholics, fire Catholics, remove Catholics, simply because I'm standing up for my Catholic faith. “So, I'm hopeful that he's going to make the right decision. Otherwise, this religious liberty commission should be completely shut down. If I don't have my religious freedom on a Religious Freedom Commission, it's not a religious freedom commission.” Christian workplaces thrive Employees in Christian-led workplaces report high levels of engagement in their work according to a new report. The State of the Christian Workplace 2026 report released new data on 40,000 employees in over 400 Christian organizations in the U.S. Sixty-one percent of employees in Christian-led workplaces reported being engaged in their work. These engagement levels are nearly twice that of the U.S. workforce overall. Jay Bransford, President & CEO of Best Christian Workplaces, noted, “Engaged employees bring energy, enthusiasm, commitment, and passion that directly fuel Kingdom impact.” Colossians 3:23-24 says, “Whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” U.S. federal workforce shrunk by 10.3% Pew Research reports that the U.S. federal workforce shrank by 10.3 percent in 2025. Nearly 350,000 people quit, retired, were laid off, or otherwise left the federal government last year. That's an 80 percent increase compared to 2024. Agencies with the most job cuts included the U.S. Agency for International Development, the National Endowments for the Arts and the Humanities, and the Education Department. 18-year-old rescues brother from axe-wielding man And finally, an 18-year-old is thanking God after protecting his brother from an ax-wielding man in Florida over the weekend. Fox News reports Leodan Pino and his 16-year-old brother were closing up a car wash in Ocala. That's when the suspect approached while yelling and threatening. Pino told the man he had to leave. The man refused and pulled out an ax. Thankfully, Pino is a military recruit and trained in mixed martial arts. He proceeded to execute a take down and subdued the suspect until police arrived. Listen to his comments afterward. PINO: “I'm very thankful that God gave me the opportunity and gave me the strength to be able to control that situation. Very thankful that I was the one closing with my brother and no one else was. Because I'm not too sure if any of my co-workers would have done the same thing as I would have.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Wednesday, March 18th, in the year of our Lord 2026. The episode contrasts historic Christian “fulfillment theology” (supersessionism) with modern dispensational Zionism, arguing the former represents orthodox Christian doctrine across church history while the latter is a recent, heterodox innovation. It centers on Tucker Carlson's interview with Kerry Bowler and her removal from Donald Trump's Religious Liberty Commission after she stated Catholics are anti-Zionist and rejected claims that traditional Christian theology is inherently antisemitic. The hosts claim Trump's decision reflects Zionist influence in his circle, including Paula White, and amounts to sidelining historic Christianity in public policy. They discuss Israel's post–October 7 prominence, critique equating anti-Zionism with antisemitism, and appeal to church fathers (e.g., Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Augustine, Chrysostom) to argue biblical promises to Abraham are fulfilled in Christ and believers, not a modern nation-state.*SPONSORS:*iTrustCapital - Want to diversify your retirement beyond stocks and bonds? iTrustCapital lets you buy and sell Bitcoin, Ethereum, gold, and silver inside a tax-advantaged account.Sign up and fund a new account to receive a $100 funding bonus:https://www.itrustcapital.com/go/nxrstudiosPaleovalley – If you're trying to eat clean but still need something convenient, these 100% grass-fed beef sticks are a solid option. In early February, clips began circulating from Trump's Religious Liberty Commission hearing, where the former Miss California Carrie Prejean Boller challenged Jewish activists Yitzhak Frankel and Shabbos Kestenbaum about the killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza and the conflation of anti-Zionism and antisemitism. Notably, Prejean Boller framed her opposition to political Zionism in terms of her Catholicism: “I'm a Catholic and Catholics do not embrace Zionism,” she said. She raised the charge of deicide, reading the New Testament verse about the Jews killing Jesus and questioning a panelist about whether he would have tech platforms censor the Bible on account of antisemitism claims. And she challenged the theology undergirding evangelical support for Zionism, dispensationalism, which understands Jews as God's chosen people that help fulfill the end times prophecy by settling in the land of Israel. A number of prominent “America First” isolationists are Catholic, including Pat Buchanan, one of the fathers of America First paleoconservatism who famously opposed the Iraq War. Vice President J.D. Vance, Heritage Foundation president Kevin Roberts, far-right strategist Steve Bannon, and columnist Sohrab Ahmari are all America Firsters skeptical of foreign intervention. Catholicism also appears dominant among a cohort of extremist Groyper-style figures infusing their anti-Israel worldview with classically antisemitic language and ideas, including streamers Nick Fuentes and Candace Owens, the Florida gubernatorial candidate James Fishback, and now Prejean Boller, who has aligned herself with Owens in particular. On this episode of On the Nose, Jewish Currents editor-in-chief Arielle Angel speaks with Matthew Cressler, author of the forthcoming Catholics and the Making of MAGA: How an Immigrant Church Became America's Law and Order Faith, and Julie Schumacher Cohen, co-author with Jordan Denari Duffner of the forthcoming Palestine, Israel, and Catholic Social Teaching: A Guide. They discuss how we should understand this apparent connection between skepticism about American intervention abroad and Catholicism. Cressler and Schumacher Cohen explain what Catholic theology has to say about Judaism, Zionism, and the modern political state of Israel. They explore how some figures on the right are hearkening back to the earlier days of the Church—before the Second Vatican Council's modernizing changes, which included a condemnation of antisemitism—and they dissect the antisemitic and fascist threads in the Catholic tradition that are being surfaced in Fuentes's and Owens's rhetoric. The Mormon Church has made a move that's raising questions about where it's headed next. President Dallin H. Oaks has appointed Clark Gilbert as the newest apostle, a relatively young (at 55 years old!) leader known for his firm orthodoxy and culture-war posture within church education. For many within the church and without, it feels like a signal about the future direction of the institution, particularly on LGBTQ issues and internal dissent. We also examine Alabama's proposal to make disrupting a church service a felony punishable by up to ten years in prison, Oklahoma's latest attempt to establish a publicly funded religious charter school, and a lawsuit challenging Trump's Religious Liberty Commission. Plus: a controversial plea deal involving a former prison chaplain, and a Christian university "merger" that ended with faculty fired and assets absorbed.
In this explosive episode montage of Chicks on the Right, we dive deep into the controversy surrounding Carrie Prejean Boller, the former Miss California turned "Candy Catholic" who was removed from President Trump's Religious Liberty Commission after hijacking an antisemitism hearing. Prejean Boller repeatedly defended Candace Owens, refused to condemn certain rhetoric, pushed anti-Zionist views while claiming to speak for all Catholics, and wore a Palestine pin to the White House event. We break down the tense clips where she clashed with Seth Dillon and others, her obsession with Candace ("she listens daily and hears zero antisemitism"), and how "Christ is King" has been co-opted by Groypers and cult-like followers. We expose the "Candy Catholics" — recent converts idolizing Candace Owens over authentic faith — and why traditional Catholics need to reject this hijacking. Highlights include her back-and-forth on X, her "goyim" post, bizarre responses to critics like Mark Levin, and alliances with figures like Thomas Massie.Plus, we discuss why Trump needs better vetting, the importance of distinguishing biblical prophecy from Israel's right to exist, and why this is an American problem affecting Gen Z.Subscribe and stay tuned for new episodes every weekday!Follow us here for more daily clips, updates, and commentary:YoutubeFacebookInstagramTikTokXLocalsMore InfoWebsite

Carrie Prejean Boller addresses the backlash she faced after rejecting the claim that support for modern Israel is a required Christian belief. A recent Catholic convert serving on the Trump-appointed Religious Liberty Commission, she argues that her position reflects historic Catholic teaching and should not be conflated with anti-Semitism. Prejean says fellow commissioners pressured her to resign over her public comments on Gaza and her rejection of evangelical dispensationalism, raising questions about what religious liberty truly means in practice. She contrasts her former Protestant views with her current Catholic convictions, particularly on covenant theology and the role of the modern state of Israel.HELP SUPPORT WORK LIKE THIS: https://give.lifesitenews.com/?utm_source=SOCIAL U.S. residents! On Monday's Mark Levin Show, Rep Hakeem Jeffries is the George Wallace of our time – he opposes the principle of one person, one vote. Blue states like California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, and New Mexico have used redistricting to minimize or eliminate Republican representation, creating districts where Republican votes effectively don't count. This practice is unconstitutional, denies equal voting rights regardless of race or gender and allows federal courts to do nothing. Also, Virginia is beginning to criminalize opposition to Islam due to growing Islamist influence in Northern Virginia, where Democrats collaborate closely with Islamists on issues like zoning, school curricula, and employment. Sen Saddam Azim Salem is prioritizing a bill defining Islamophobia as a form of assault and battery, arguing it is redundant given existing hate crime enhancements that cover assaults based on religion, race, ethnicity, and other factors. Do these protections apply equally to all groups? Afterward, AOC, Gavin Newsom and Hillary Clinton trash our country overseas because they hate our country. While our brave and patriotic military personnel stationed overseas are protecting the free world, they give aid and comfort to our enemies. And none of them have done anything for the betterment of our country. Later, tomorrow is the premiere of Mark's new video podcast - Liberty's Voice. This will complement the radio show and Fox TV program, aiming to expand reach, overlap audiences, and amplify the message. Finally, Lt Gov Dan Patrick calls in to explains that Carrie Prejean Boller has been removed from President Trump's Religious Liberty Commission. No member of the Commission has the right to hijack a hearing for their own personal and political agenda on any issue. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
