What did Mike Tomlin think of the ‘Fire Tomlin' chants Sunday night inside Acrisure Stadium? The Steelers are yet again headed toward the same destination they are used to. The national voices continue to defend him or find ways to pull him away from blame. Bruce Arians told The Pat McAfee Show that changing the coordinators have been done time and time again, and that ‘won't fly' with fans anymore. What if fans chant ‘Fire Tomlin' during the draft?

It feels like the teams under Tomlin have shown an odd loss of said composure for quite some time. Did Tomlin call out Cam Heyward a little bit today?
December 1, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 57 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into our overarching thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 13 Sunday home loss to the Buffalo Bills. As you can probably imagine, this show begins with a lot of gloom, despair, and agony vibes. In our weekly housekeeping portion of this Monday show, which is sponsored by the fine folks at TouringPlans.com, Alex and I talk about the Sunday afternoon inactive list and how the Steelers decided to sit CB Darius Slay as one of their five inactive players against the Bills. The Steelers sustained a few injuries Sunday, so we discuss what happened to ILB Patrick Queen and CB James Pierre. We also discuss QB Aaron Rodgers getting beat up more on Sunday against the Bills. The Steelers made a few transactions on Saturday with one of those being T Broderick Jones being placed on the Reserve/Injured list. We discuss Jones likely being out for the season and the offseason decision the Steelers have with him when it comes to his fifth-year option. After going through the newsy items related to Saturday and Sunday, Alex and I look at what all transpired at Acrisure Stadium against the Bills. We first talk about the play of the Steelers' defense and how poor things looked on that side of the football once again. We discuss the historical day the defense had, clearly a negative, and how the Bills offense ran at will against the unit by essentially spamming just two plays. We discuss the Steelers' defense being unable to get to Bills QB Josh Allen on Sunday and how he used his legs, instead of his arm, to really impact the game. We also discuss the coverage bust the Steelers defense had on his lone touchdown pass as well. After beating up on the defense, Alex and I go over the lackluster play from the Steelers offense against the Bills. We talk about the unit's inability to run many plays, the overall lack of a running game, and how there was no passing game down the field to speak of. We discuss a few poor decisions that QB Aaron Rodgers seemingly made against the Bills and how he remains out of sync with TE Jonnu Smith. We go over a few things Rodgers had to say postgame in addition to things that OLB T.J. Watt said to the media. We also discuss the reaction Mike Tomlin had to Sunday's loss postgame. We also talk about the poor offensive schemes and game plans that OC Arthur Smith has put on display recently. The "Fire Tomlin" chants are getting louder in Pittsburgh, so Alex and I discuss that topic. We discuss our faith and lack of faith in Tomlin moving forward. We discuss the Steelers only having two home games remaining and how Tomlin is probably thankful for that. Special teams certainly played a role in the Steelers' loss to the Bills, so Alex and I make sure to hit on what went wrong in that phase of the game on Sunday. Alex and I certainly aren't bullish at all on the Steelers when it comes to their final five games and thus playoff chances. This 109-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we wrap things up by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Joe and Brian dive into the fallout from the Steelers' 26–7 loss to the Buffalo Bills at Acrisure Stadium. This episode breaks down how Buffalo controlled the trenches, while Pittsburgh's offense sputtered and turnovers in the third quarter sealed the outcome. We examine Aaron Rodgers' struggles, the defense's inability to contain Buffalo's ground game, and the growing frustration among fans, including chants calling for Mike Tomlin's job. With the Steelers now sitting at 6–6, the playoff picture becomes increasingly uncertain. The show also captures the atmosphere inside Acrisure, the social media reaction, and what this loss means for the Steelers moving forward. Closing thoughts focus on the urgency of the upcoming matchups and what adjustments Pittsburgh must make to stay alive in the postseason race: including some coaching changes. Questions or Comments? Hour 1 with Bob Pompeani and Joe Starkey: This was one of the worst football weekends in Pittsburgh sports history. Pitt and the Steelers were both dominated at Acrisure. The story for Joe is the fanbase turning on the Steelers and Mike Tomlin. The Bills rushed for an Acrisure Stadium record for an opponent against the Steelers and the most rushing yards by an opponent in Pittsburgh since Buffalo in 1975.
This was one of the worst football weekends in Pittsburgh sports history. Pitt and the Steelers were both dominated at Acrisure. The story for Joe is the fanbase turning on the Steelers and Mike Tomlin. Cam Heyward complained that Josh Allen kneed him and was why Heyward had a 15-yard penalty on a Bills touchdown. T.J. Watt said he has never seen a team run the same play over and over again.

Two months after surviving a horrific attack at a Latter-day Saint meetinghouse in Michigan, Brandi Hicken hoped for a sense of normalcy at a BYU football game in Cincinnati. Instead, she was met with chants that felt deeply personal: “(expletive) the Mormons. Greg and Holly hear from Editor of the Deseret News, Sarah Weaver, about the Hicken family’s journey from tragedy to advocacy, why words matter in the wake of religious violence, and Brandi’s message to the University of Cincinnati and the broader conversation about respect, healing, and accountability.

NSW will introduce new laws criminalising Nazi chants and behaviours that signal support for extremist ideology, following a recent neo-Nazi protest outside Parliament. Offenders face up to a year in prison, with harsher penalties near Jewish sites. Jewish community leaders welcome the move as an ethical stand against rising hate, though experts warn legislation alone cannot eliminate extremism without broader education and prevention efforts.
We are on to Coastal Carolina. The Chants bring a high-scoring offense into Columbia for the Senior Day in-state contest. Their defense is a little tricky, but Gamecocks playcaller Mike Furrey and the talent South Carolina has on that side of the ball should be up for a big day. This is not a game Shane Beamer can afford to lose, though and JC Shurburtt explains why.
