George came to America from Armenia at just 12 years old, left high school early and eventually turned a business that started with a single truck into a major exotic automobile transportation company moving thousands of vehicles every year. George also talks about family, entrepreneurship, The Reserve LA, his passion for giving back to the Armenian community — and why, despite all his success in business, one of his happiest places is still behind a grill cooking for the people he loves. Two completely different men. Two remarkable lives. And one conversation that goes places none of them expected. Artist, author and playwright Vahe Berberian is best known for his comedy stand-up routines about life in Armenia and the diaspora. He spoke at the first Innovate Armenia about the necessity of revamping Armenian culture, and learning how to laugh without feeling guilty.
