One week after Eva's attack, Central City begins to rebuild as Iris and Allegra work to cover the Mirrorverse incident. The former struggles to face the trauma from her ordeal in the Mirrorverse while Barry grapples with his guilt over not deducing Mirror-Iris was an impostor. Meanwhile, Abra Kadabra returns and lets himself be arrested by A.R.G.U.S. so he can complete an anti-matter bomb that he intends to use on Central City in retaliation for his family being erased from existence following the Crisis and to make Barry suffer. Barry successfully talks Kadabra into disabling the bomb, but they are suddenly attacked by a monster, which absorbs the bomb. Kadabra attempts to save Barry, but is killed by the monster. It nearly kills Barry as but it winces in pain and runs off. Allegra is promoted to staff writer and Iris joins a Mirrorverse support group. Elsewhere, after both suffering from headaches, Frost and Caitlin Snow have separated from each other. Da da da….. BUT THEN: The team deduces that when Mirror Monarch used her Mirror gun on Caitlin, Frost's metahuman DNA needed to create a new body, causing their headaches. While Caitlin wants them to re-merge, Frost wants to live her own life. At S.T.A.R. labs, the Speed Force (as Barry's mother Nora) appears, badly hurt, carrying the same energy signature from the being (now named Fuerza) that attacked Barry & Kadabra. Barry places his speed force gauge on Nora's wrist so they can monitor her health. The Flash encounters an enemy nicknamed Psych, who uses his powers to force people to see their worst fears, forcing Barry into a hallucination with Eobard Thawne and Savitar, leaving him injured. Psych sends out fear waves trapping people in perpetual nightmares. The team uses Cecile's abilities and Devoe's Chair, along with Barry's speed, to send a wave of courage to counteract Psych's wave of fear, defeating Psych. However, Barry is still suffering from the attacks, and needs to put himself in the cryogenic chamber to heal himself. The liaison from the Governor's Municipal Logistics Commission, Kristen Kramer, arrives at the CCPD. Iris doesn't trust her and does a full background check on her. Kristen admits to Joe that she's really there to apprehend the fugitive Killer Frost. Later, Speed Force Nora wakes up & tells the team that Psych also attacked her. She also believes that Fuerza & Psych are like her.
In our first minisode, we will be discussing Twilight. More specifically, we will be focusing on the man, the myth, the legend - Edward Cullen. From Rosalie actually being the hero we all needed to Jacob imprinting on his daughter Renesmée (don't worry we get into that name too), we got you covered on all things Twilight. While Caitlin hopes this is the first of many Twilight minisodes, Mila hopes this is the last. However, she found out Stephanie Meyer's net worth is $125 million and is now considering writing her own vampire-themed series, stay tuned for updates. Thank you for listening and we're sorry about this one.
Do you spend a lot of time and money recruiting people to your team? Most businesses do. Without people, the right people, there is no business. So, naturally, companies spend money and time – often a lot of money and time – on advertising and outreach to find talented individuals In these cases, businesses sometimes think that they have a recruiting problem (i.e., “If only we did x,y and z, we could find the right person!”), but more often than not, it's actually a mission statement problem. Why? Because a clear, strong, and powerful mission statement will attract the right people to your door over and over again. No need to spend tons of time and money hunting for talent… talent will come to you. And even if you don't have a spot for a talented person on your team right in that moment, they become part of your bench of talent. So when you are ready to make that next hire, you know exactly who you're reaching out to. On this week’s episode, I talk with Caitlin Frauton, our Director of Marketing at Adam Hergenrother Companies. Her path to our company is an example of the power of a clear company mission. It was the mission statement that attracted Caitlin to our organization, and she sheds light on why it was so powerful for her from both from the perspective of an employee and a marketing expert. We go well beyond the words of the mission statement and talk about what it actually means to live and breathe a mission statement. When you do that, you get the right people in the door… every single time. If you need more talent in your world who are passionate about what your organization does, this is an episode you need to hear. Although she liked what she was doing, both jobs didn’t feel like they were in alignment with her long-term goals. She began the journey of manifesting a workplace that put their values in action and also supported consciousness and spirituality. [5:10] The more a team feels like they are serving something beyond themselves, the more likely they are to let the negative gossip and destructive water cooler talk go. [7:06] While Caitlin was in the interview process with us, she liked that there was less focus on small talk and more on the important things such as personal growth and self-education. She saw our team making things happen and talking the talk rather than just walking the walk. [9:12] A few things Caitlyn appreciates most about working on the team include constant communication and weekly check-ins, equality, and respect for other people’s time and goals. Getting together at people’s homes or having out of work BBQ’s are great and an extra bonus, but what really matters is people doing self-work on their off time,
Ed, Caitlin, and Ryan are hunkered down but still managed to get some real heat for the podcast. Ryan samples a variety of flower and rosin from the Archive/Burnside crew including Dirty Taxi, Ice Cream Cake and Light Speed. While Caitlin and Ed dig into their tasting room stash and enjoy some Cherry Lime Dog from Briceland Forest Farm, Cherry Ghost OG from Sir Chach, and a Rose Lemonade from Flowerdaze. An all-around stoney episode. Roll your own and join us for this dank social distancing sesh.
While Caitlin is away moving and starting a new job, Tanner focuses on two rappers whose recent releases have often missed the Hot 100 altogether: Rick Ross and Blueface.
While Caitlin is on her honeymoon, Mego sits down solo with HER MOM Rhonda Meadows for a very special Work it Out Mother's Day. They talk fitness in the 80's, finding what works for you and whether or not Megan is a good daughter. KIDDING.
Today I’m chatting with a wonderful human being who has an amazing drive and passion for what she does. Within a few years, she’s gone from selling an individual service to scaling her business to seven figures. Back when Caitlin was taking time off to be a full-time mother, she felt herself getting restless, as the ‘CEO’ inside of her was trying to come out. After helping out a friend with her business’ social media, she realized the potential and started up a service business Upon making $1,500 a month, she felt on top of the world. However, there would be many milestones to achieve and multiple lessons to be learned, as this was only the beginning. While Caitlin has accomplished things that most people could only dream of, she’s not content to rest on her laurels. Next year she’s shooting for $4 million. However, it’s not just money that motivates her. Her bigger mission is to help underrepresented individuals enhance and improve their standings. She wants to help others “claim their seat at the table”. If you’re ready to hear Caitlin’s inspiring story in her own words, then listen to the podcast on iTunes today. I also strongly urge you to subscribe so you don’t miss any of this free content that could help turn your business (and life) around. For more information, visit www.jereshiahawk.com/podcast
