Spinning Out (another music podcast) We talk to artists about their favorite albums and go on wild tangents. This is a podcast where we talk to guests about their favorite albums. Today we're talking with my friend Gibran Colbert of the band The Give & Take and also of Expert Timing. We talked about As Cities Burn's debut album "Son I Loved You at Your Darkest" and about how Evangelicalism and Capitalism make strange and harmful bedfellows. The Give & Take released their EP, "Great Pause," in 2021 and Gibran is working on a follow-up to hopefully be released this year! Also, Expert Timing released a really amazing album, "Stargazing," recently on Count Your Lucky Stars. So check both of those out directly from the band. https://experttiming.bandcamp.com/album/stargazing Subscribe to our Patreon here: www.patreon.com/spinningoutpod Follow us on social media -- twitter and instagram (@Spinningoutpod)

NEWS A 'viral' news story reported wrong. News regarding a pair of elderly gentlemen escaping their care facility to apparently rock out with the crowds at Wacken Open Air till 3am, turns out to have been a 58 & 59 year old escaping their Metal Healthcare Facility to party in the town near the festival. Aid was rendered to the men before being returning to their care facility.https://www.apnews.com/b626be4b1bd249e4978fc5c33fad5710Hellyeah seems to be indicating, on social media, that they are moving forward with the album they were recording at the time of drummer, Vinnie Paul's passing. Do to the nature of the post-humus completing production, it seems like they're in a some what unique position. I wonder how their approach will balance the earnest desire to tribute Vinnie Paul & the fans desire to hear the last recorded songs and the marketing.
