Jason is also the Director of LGBTQ Services for the North Jersey Community Research Initiative (NJCRI) and the former Manager of the Newark Pride Center. It's important to have Jason on during Pride Season in order to make sure we understand the history of the LGBTQ+ community and that we don't delegate Pride to just a month! We all know that it's been a difficult time to support ourselves and our loved ones, especially as it pertains to our mental health and wellness, during the pandemic. As restrictions start lifting in our state, it is important that teens and parents have tangible, realistic recommendations to reduce risk and harm during this season.
