In this episode, Vito and Cordell discuss hospitality throughout the many major eras of human development. After many segues, which is typical for this podcast, the choice will be made to determine which era would be the best time to work a hospitality job. Will it be ancient Egypt? The Renaissance era in Italy? Possibly the Prohibition of the 1920's? Join us to find out!

In today's episode we'll discuss moving up the hospitality ladder. Is it worth it? What is the best path to take? Join us as we try to unpack all the mysteries of getting promoted in restaurants/hotels and what that ultimately means. We'll also unveil our new segment, The History of Hospitality, and later visit a cherished playwright to see if we'd want to bring him water and bread to his table or...not. 

In this episode Vito and Cordell will discuss that old adage "the customer is always right!" We'll look into its potential origins, how it has changed over the years, and why it might be time to retire the saying altogether. 

We're all painfully familiar with those tacky, outdated hospitality training videos they make everyone watch either at orientation or throughout each year. Are they helpful? Is there a better way to do them? Is there a reason they were all filmed in 1986? Join Vito and Cordell as they discuss those darn videos and why, at the end of the day, they might do more harm than good. 

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! In this special New Year's episode, Vito and Cordell will share their 10 bizarre and ambitious New Year's resolutions for 2022. Join us in our first episode of this year!
