Leo served from 68' - 69' in the 190th Assault Helicopter Unit as a helicopter mechanic and right door gunner. From rocket attacks to unintentionally getting high, Leo shares amazing stories that will keep you on the edge of your seat. On episode 18 we had our first zoom interview with Liam McKelvie from Dundee Scotland! Liam is a quad amputee who believes that everybody can achieve their goals and ambitions irrespective of how many limbs they have. After contracting meningitis as a young child he has had to adapt and overcome challenges in order to live his everyday life. His experiences have helped him craft an attitude of positivity, self-belief and resilience and he is now looking to spread this to others. By embracing certain mindsets, Liam has overcome seemingly impossible challenges and believes that these attitudes can be embraced by anybody. On episode 9 we go over the effects of COVID19 on our lives and more specifically the effects it's having on highschoolers. The ACT, NBA, March Madness, MLB, gatherings over 25 people and much more has been cancelled because of this crazy time! As many students around the country, we have a 6 week break from school and that means we have ALOT of free time on our hands. We talk about things to do while bored and ways to keep safe!
