Two dudes with the same name, talking about whatever
Did we follow up one of our favorite episodes with an episode where we feel sleep deprived and generally "out of it?" -- You bet we did!
We have a tight window (for us) to break down Season 3 of Stranger Things. We talk about our favorite people, our favorite moments and all the things that weren't so great as well. Disclaimer: We spoil everything.
Stranger Things Season 3, Will Smith, Aliens, Randy Quaid, Jeff Goldblum, and other memorable pop culture events that were sparked by recording on the 4th of July.
We discuss UFOs and the latest documentary to hit Netflix about Bob Lazar, single use plastics, becoming a professional fighter and whether or not indoor rock climbing is the new cross-fit. At the end of the podcast we dive into NBA Free Agency, but give you a heads up about that one for those of you that couldn't care less.
We're back... again? We're hoping to maintain it more. Any issues we ran into, just take into account we're rusty. If we're no longer interesting... well that would be pretty devastating!
We play catch up and then dive up on a few of the topics from the last week, including Serena Williams, Nike's new ad campaign, Kanye with Lil Pump, and the sudden passing of Mac Miller
Is it a good idea to borrow money from your friends? Do you have a good (but probably bad) story that involves money and friends? Day for Night's founder Omar Afra is going through some sexual assault allegations on social media, so we give our thoughts on that. We also talk Kanye on Jimmy, candy at Walgreens, and fast food greetings.
Asbestos is cool again! We've now officially visited Astroworld and give our thoughts, and kids can't tell time anymore. It's 2018. baby.
Apple's worth a trillion, Amazon is slaughtering everyone, Travis Scott relives Astro-World, and we do some self reflection on how dumb each previous "version" of ourselves has been. We took a week off after hammering 2-3 of these out every week since we started and we feel rejuvenated and we're pumped on improving the podcast as best we can.
With some crazy stories in our local news, we ask ourselves what it would take to send us to a crazy place. Could either of us go full Samuel L. Jackson? There's no way to word this episode without sounding crazy, so just give it a listen.
We wanted to talk movies, but did a listener a solid and resisted, so in turn Casey suggested we dive in on things that you may love, but we don't. How does this differ from the "unpopular opinion" episode? We aren't sure, but there's things getting love that we don't have any love for.
A continuation of our interview with Daniel of A Comer Catering. This segment ran wrong, so each part deserves its own episode.
We've got a guest on today's podcast! We're joined by Daniel of "A Comer Catering" - who is definitely a natural storyteller that we could've had on for 4-5 hours. We dive into his humble beginnings and the food industry in general, and Casey finally has a food ally to team up against Kasey with.
Casey hangs in there and talks NBA Free Agency with Kasey on today's episode. What are our thoughts on Lebron, the Spurs, and Tomball's finest, Jimmy Butler? Also, the Pete Davidson/Ariana Grande thing has become too much and we give in and go a little TMZ and do some celebrity gossiping ourselves.
Our weird stories regarding Spaghetti, what we've been up to and new music from Drake.
Time for another list! It's list day? We need a better name for this. Listen to us argue about each other's rankings and just wait for Case to pull such a "case move" at #2.
We've all thought someone was going to be really great and then they turned out being gross, either literally or figuratively. We also give our verdict on the Terry Thompson case.
We discuss social media influencers and marketing in 2018 and whether or not they work on us. Then we dive into something a little more heavy and discuss kid jail.
We're both kind of loopy and sleep deprived on this one, but Casey still brings the heat with his Danny Glover, Ramon, and Kid Cudi impressions (they're all the same level of famous, right?). Both of us have a "hot take" on New Orleans, and we introduce "what's hot this week" - a segment where we discuss what we're reading, watching, and listening to this week. Recommendations always appreciated.
We made it thirty deep! We thought we were going to talk about the World Cup more, but quickly realized neither of us follow soccer closely enough, so we talk about something we can relate to better... our own youthful sports. Then we look into the future and wonder where each of us will be when the North America bound World Cup of 2026 comes around.
Casey is 26! Is he wise beyond his years or does his youth shine through your speakers? Today on the podcast we play "how old is too old" - it'll probably rustle a few of you, but hopefully we can all laugh at ourselves from time to time. "They're laughing with me, Michael!"
We quickly touch on the NBA finals, whether or not it's ever acceptable to cheer for Golden State and when it's okay to be OP (over powered, for you non gamers). After that we just kind of talk about ourselves and one another, we dive deep into a /r/askmen topic about flaws we identify ourselves and with each other. It gets deep... or something.
We give our immediate thoughts on hearing the news regarding the death of Anthony Bourdain, check in on what Yeezy has been up to, and in true rusty form, record the majority of the podcast on a laptop microphone by mistake.
Today we both give our top 10 for the most re-watchable comedy films out there.
We discuss the latest decision by NFL Owner's regarding The National Anthem, a little bit Rockets, food plating versus latte art, and triggered culture.
Casey's back from Alabama, and Kasey gets rustled enough to block you. We spend some time playing catch up, diving into a few topics ranging from double wide trailers, the rockets, YouTube celebrities, and use reddit to answer some unplanned questions on the spot.
Time for another list! Sort of? Today we list our most unpopular opinions. Disagree with us? That's kind of the point... they're unpopular for a reason.
Which streaming services are we using and are they worth it? Netflix is devoting resources to stand-up comedy, is it paying off? Then at the VERY end we discuss the latest Avengers film, don't worry, we give you a heads up before we discuss anything.
We were asked to rank some steaks at a "steak off" - we give our thoughts and announce the winner. Casey is "so out" on kickball, but Kasey still has stories to share, and we talk about the new Childish Gambino video and the moment Donald Glover is having.
The moment you've all been waiting for! We're ranking the best fast food options, with their corresponding best item, from 10-1.
Cultural appropriation versus appreciation. A lack of social awareness and PDA. Let's dive in and upset as many people as we can.
A baby at a zoo!? Spoilers on social media -- stop it! We also try our best to conduct a 3 person conversation/interview with Johnny Beavers while being down a mic, thank you for your patience!
Casey surprises Kasey with a surprise guest, Zach from Catalina Coffee. We all dive into Kanye's tweets and love of Trump, Beto vs Trump, whether or not Greg Popovich sucks, and Zach outdoing the both of us in the supportive husband role.
Casey is HOT and we have to cool him off before we go too deep. Kasey finds something by accident on the facebook marketplace and is full blown triggered over it. We both need to chill out.
Bullshit hustlers, lazy entrepreneurs, and blessing up (while staying on the grind). Does your facebook feed contain those things, because ours does and we have to address it. We dive into ranking cities based on the food they offer. Ed interrupts us and invites himself onto the show, and we reveal the most expensive gift we've ever spent on someone else.
Did Casey lie to you? Maybe. We finally dive into the kickball league we've been promising, discuss Casey's latest trip to Alabama, and whether or not you should be friends with your exes.
Casey is stuck at work so we do our first "call in" podcast, we hope it sounds okay! Our friend Jonathan has some notes for us after his trip to Tokyo, and Casey is climbing that restaurant ladder quickly! Here's another quicky, so we're not counting is as a full episode.
4/20 -- #blazeit? Squeezing in a quicky before the first game of the kickball season. Kickball season? Yes, we'll explain. Bad investments! What's yours? Casey may or may not have had a moment of weakness with his nicotine addiction. Do you guys read the intros or do you just blindly trust a new episode?
Married life! How's it treating Kasey? Fortnite! Do you play? We don't! -- but we've got something to say about it. Casey quits his job, Kasey struggles with fixing our audio and Jason has hateful things to say.
We quickly run through our NBA playoff predictions. Kasey attempts to really dive into this segment, while Casey still thinks Yao Ming is on the Rockets.
We forget to record an intro! We do a deep dive into music and somehow end up with the ultimate boy band power rankings. We're currently recording "stereo" so each of us is heard through a different ear. If you prefer mono, please let us know!
Astros or Rangers, Spurs or Rockets, Cowboys or Texans? What's a boy from San Antonio to do? We also say goodbye to the astrodome, discuss how we got into podcasts and try out this new equipment of ours.
We have a guest! Taylor France, retail manager of Manready Mercantile joins us for a mostly unplanned interview. We also talk more comedy, musicals? and the idea of retirement.
Is anything off-limits in comedy? Are you an instagram creep? How insane do we look as illustrations?
Casey hates on latte art and bad coffee as we also dive into our own set of haters. We disagree on hype-culture and pen-pals in 2018, and question whether or not our friends are the right people to have on as guests.
Today we discuss the Houston bean, Houston vs. Chicago, Easter Sunday, Keanu Reeves, the movie "Creep" and the NCAA Final Four. Edward from Ham Cycles also jumps on the pod towards the end to discuss a variety of things, but mostly food.
Today we talk tacos, face tattoos, hip hop in 2018, gun control, and briefly address the Stormy Daniels interview on 60 minutes.
We dive into our celebrity man crushes, whether or not Tom Cruise is good, the new Star Wars films, and what's on our Netflix rotation.
