The NFL Owners have decided the fate of the Tush Push and the ban failed. The Athletic's Senior NFL Insider, Dianna Russini, shares why the owners ultimately decided to uphold the Tush Push play. Former NFL QB Chase Daniel shares his thoughts on the play.The proposal, introduced by the Green Bay Packers ultimately fell short by two votes. Among the teams to oppose the Packers' proposal were the Baltimore Ravens, New England Patriots, Detroit Lions, and New York Jets. The Tush Push play, made famous by the Philadelphia Eagles, came under fire during the league's annual Spring owner's meeting. This time, in Minneapolis, Eagles' owner Jeffrey Lurie addressed his fellow owners for 30 minutes and gave a passioned pitch to keep the play legal.
