Host Ricky Sacks and Co-Host Billie T are joined by Tottenham Hotspur Correspondent Alasdair Gold, as we look back at the past 10 months since Alasdair was last on the show with us. Before the opening game of the season, Thomas Frank declared he wanted Spurs to be competitive in multiple competitions. By the final day, It was Roberto De Zerbi who saved Tottenham Hotspur from total humiliation. This was a season when years of mismanagement and drift caught up with Spurs. It was a disaster and the club must ensure it does not happen again. Daniel Levy was removed from his position as chairman after nearly 25 years in charge. Frank was spotted drinking from a coffee cup that had Arsenal's badge on it. Frank ended up being sacked the following month and replaced by Igor Tudor, who lasted only 44 days before Roberto De Zerbi took over. Spurs only won three games at home and suffered 17 defeats in total. At times it felt like the drama was never-ending. On this show with Alasdair we break-down the campaign just gone and what led us to Roberto De Zerbi completing the most unlikeliest of final-day great escapes. Cam Smith and K.C. Johnson welcome Bulls pre and postgame analyst and former Bull Kendall Gill to talk the future of the Bulls and the current NBA landscape. Kendall shares why he believes newly hired EVP Bryson Graham can help reshape the franchise, reflects on his own experiences in Charlotte and how they compare to the Bulls' current situation, and explains why Chicago still has major work to do despite the pieces already on the roster. The guys also get into the Bulls' options with the No. 4 overall pick, potential draft fits, and Kendall's surprising thoughts on a possible move for a former NBA all-star. The conversation also shifts around the league as Kendall gives his conference finals and NBA Finals predictions, discusses the rise of the New York Knicks, and talks about what it would mean for Jalen Brunson to bring New York a championship. They dive into Victor Wembanyama's future with the San Antonio Spurs, whether he is already becoming the face of the league, and how the Spurs' organizational culture continues to stand out across the NBA. Plus, Kendall wraps things up with stories from his offseason life away from basketball, including his passion for gardening.

Evan Roberts and Tiki Barber break down just how dominant the Knicks have looked, asking whether this run compares to the most overwhelming championship pushes in New York sports history. The conversation goes from the late nineties Yankees to the 1986 Giants as they try to find a local parallel for a playoff ride that has been almost completely drama free. They also debate the biggest threats waiting in the NBA Finals, whether the Thunder's experience makes them scarier than the Spurs, and how Mike Brown has taken the Knicks to a level Tom Thibodeau may not have reached. Evan also explains why his Nets fandom fuels his Knicks hatred, leading to a bigger conversation about New York basketball jealousy, fan bases, and why this moment feels so surreal.

They tip things off by breaking down Games 3 and 4 of the Western Conference finals and discuss how Victor Wembanyama is changing his game to counter the hostile strategy from the Thunder before debating if Shai Gilgeous Alexander is being officiated fairly during this series as the NBA MVP has yet to show up in a big way against the Spurs. We dive into why New York suddenly looks built for June basketball, why Brunson has become the king of the Garden, and which Finals matchup gives them the better shot at a ring. Then we shift to Cleveland. What should the Cavs actually do after this obliteration? Harden out? Mobley? Spida? Out West, the Thunder vs Spurs series has become a war. We talk about how the media flipped on OKC after hyping them up for the last two years and who survives the war of attritionWe close with the All-NBA teams being revealed, what it means for the future of the league, and why there's no scenario where we're paying Jalen Duren big money.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/preach-kev-preach-w-rashad--2977392/support.
It's over. The whistle has blown on the season — and Graham's Arsenal are Champions. The crew is back for the final show of the year and they are not holding back. They break down the midweek draw that handed the Gunners the title, Spurs' defeat that threw a lifeline to West Ham, and then go full timeline — match by match — through the battle for safety and the fight for European spots that kept us on the edge of our seats until the very end. A season of pain, frustration and anguish ended on a real positive on Sunday afternoon, as we picked up a monumentally important win over Everton on the final day of the campaign to preserve our Premier League status, thanks to Joao Palhinha's goal. We discussed the importance of the club surviving relegation, the lessons which must be learnt and the role in which fans played throughout the season to ensure the Club remained in the top-flight. The panel also reflected on Roberto De Zerbi pulling off a ‘great escape, as make no mistake, Tottenham were heading down when De Zerbi took over. Spurs had taken 1 point from their 7 seven league games, the players looked dead and buried. De Zerbi built the team back up, with tactics, good coaching, man-management despite a plethora of injuries. A job that nobody wanted and yet he made it work. We close on what the future truly looks like for Spurs and whether there is genuine hope in what looked like a very dark tunnel for the majority of the season for Spurs.
