Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Broadcaster Russ Williams, Marlon and Luke as Ben Davies netted his first Spurs goal for over two years but it wasn't enough to earn us the win as Sunderland hit a late equaliser on Sunday afternoon. The Welsh defender was on hand in the first half to give us the lead on what was his first start of the season – his first goal since scoring in the 4-2 defeat at Brighton on 28 December, 2023. However, the Black Cats levelled with 10 minutes remaining through Brian Brobbey as we had to settle for a point in an entertaining encounter at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The draw in our opening home match of 2026 took our unbeaten Premier League run against Sunderland to 15 matches and leaves us 13th in the table. We also discuss the latest developments of Spurs during this summer transfer window, as Tottenham Hotspur have had an £8million ($10.7m) bid for Santos left-back Souza rejected. The Brazilian side have turned down Spurs' offer for the 19-year-old. Santos are hesitant to accept a bid for the teenager whom they have high hopes for and believe his value may increase in the future. Thank you to everyone who tuned in for the latest edition of Corporate Knowledge: After Dark, this time after a relatively smooth 123-113 Spurs win over the Pacers in Indy despite the absences of Victor Wembanyama and Devin Vassell. The three-headed guard attack once again took center stage, as it has all season whenever Wemby has been forced out due to injury. De'Aaron Fox went for 24 points, Stephon Castle pitched in 19, and Dylan Harper dropped 22 off the bench to provide a full 48 minutes of ball-handling stability, which is invaluable against the pesky perimeter defenders employed in Indiana. Remember when San Antonio's point guard rotation was Tre Jones, Malaki Branham and Blake Wesley? Remember the ‘Point Sochan' experiment? What a difference a year and some change can make. For those of you who would like to join live in the future and get in on the chat, you can do so by first subscribing to the Corporate Knowledge newsletter, then downloading the Substack app. You'll get a notification when we hit the air, which will be shortly after as many games as we can. You can also now watch and listen on your desktop or laptop (thank you, Substack!). If you do miss a show, fear not. Full episodes, including Q&A with the live chat at the end of each, will be sent out via newsletter either late that night or at some point the next morning, and the abridged version will be available on the Small Market Bias podcast feed wherever you get your podcasts. The Pacers' skid continues. Brad joins Alex Golden on Setting the Pace to break down Indiana's 11th consecutive loss, a frustrating home defeat to the San Antonio Spurs that leaves the Pacers one shy of a franchise record losing streak. Rebounding and second-chance points told the story all night, as Indiana once again struggled to finish defensive possessions. The guys discuss a rough outing for Benn Mathurin (2 points in 20 minutes), while also highlighting some intriguing lineup notes — including extended run for Kam Jones, who posted a +16 in just 10 minutes, and a solid night for Micah Potter, who delivered a career-high performance in his first career start with the Pacers. To cap things off, and in honor of Potter wearing No. 11, Alex and Brad lighten the mood with a Pacers draft — selecting a starting five and sixth man made up of every player in franchise history to wear No. 11. A tough loss, honest conversation, and a little Pacers history — all in one crossover episode. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Jack is joined by The Athletic's Jack Pitt-Brooke to dive straight into the terrible display at the G-Tech Community Stadium. We ask if JPB has been surprised by how Thomas Frank's tenure has unfolded thus far, and address the scenes in the away end, did the manager deserve to be heartily booed? We discuss whether Frank is failing to read the room and if he is dangerously out of tune with the emotional beat of the fanbase. Crucially, we debate the big decision: should Spurs stick with him until the end of the season, or is it time to look for a replacement now? Listener questions cover whether Frank understands the correlation between ticket prices and fan patience, and if Spurs are now only capable of fishing in the "Frank pond" rather than attracting elite names like Xabi Alonso or Julian Nagelsmann. Finally, things get lighter as we find out Jack's darts nickname and walk-out tune. Theme is Ghost Cat by Gillen Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

State details how Jalen Brunson was solid offensively but struggled defensively, allowing Julian to go 3/5 from three and giving up 6/12 shooting overall when guarded by him, how KAT was a complete disaster on defense with a -15 plus/minus while allowing 5/9 shooting in his matchups, and how OG Anunoby had an okay defensive night on paper, allowing 4/9 shooting with only one three while adding two steals and a block, yet still finished with a -25.
