We started the hour talking about the Yankees and whether their fans want to face the Astros in the playoffs or if they are trying to avoid them. Two of our Yankees fans called and neither thought they could make it to the World Series. Boomer said the AL & NL are wide open for any playoff team to make it to the World Series. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Yankees barely beating the Twins even though they had a 10-1 lead. Francisco Lindor's wife played the National Anthem on the violin before the game. Lindor himself homered a little while later. Cal Raleigh hit 2 more home runs to make it 56 on the year. Jerry Jones was asked about the phrase, ‘glory hole'. Stephen A. Smith talked about Molly Qerim leaving ESPN. In the final segment of the hour, Gio's wife had to go into the city last night for a friend's birthday and that sounds like a nightmare.
Hour 1 We started the show with the Mets, who had a big first inning and beat the Padres. We have 11 more games to go and the Diamondbacks are right on their heels. Gio is encouraged by last night. Boomer thought he gave up on the Mets. Gio thinks the Yankees should want to play the Astros so they can pay them back. The NFL came out and said Tom Brady is allowed to be in the Raiders' coaches' booth. Boomer has a cold already, so we set the over/under for illnesses for the show this Fall/Winter. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with something strange Al did on Monday that involves him being a ‘penis hypochondriac'. The Mets scored 5 in the first. The Yankees had a 10-1 lead and barely hung on to beat the Twins. Cal Raleigh hit his 55th and 56th home runs of the season. In the final segment of the hour, Gio has an odd story involving multiple men in a Penn Station bathroom. Gio has so many questions. Hour 2 The Giants play the Chiefs this week and Boomer said the Giants are going to be in for a rude awakening on offense as the Chiefs have a very good defense. The Chiefs have struggled offensively for the last 3 games. Boomer also said Brian Daboll is not getting fired during the season no matter what happens. This is actually a great time for the Giants to be playing the Chiefs. Gio said the sportsbooks are begging you to take the Giants at 5 ½. Gio thinks it's a ‘get right spot' for the Chiefs. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Yankees squeaking by the Twins after having a 10-1 lead and the Mets' big first inning as they beat the Padres. Nick Sirianni had to answer questions about his team being offside on the tush push. Dabo Swinney said if they're tired of winning, they can let him go. In the final segment of the hour, country singer Zach Bryan tried to fight another country artist, Gavin Adcock, at a festival. Hour 3 We started the hour talking about the Yankees and whether their fans want to face the Astros in the playoffs or if they are trying to avoid them. A Tuesday night Broadway show. Hour 4 Gio talked about taking a flight out of JFK and how expensive it cost to park but we still pay it because we want to get out of there. We also talked about choosing self-checkout over going to a cashier and how valet parking people are sometimes in cahoots with criminals. Jerry returns for his final update of the day, but first we hear from Cardi B as she said she and Stefon Diggs are having a baby. We heard from Pete Carroll on his relationship with Tom Brady. Brady is playing in some flag football game in Saudi Arabia. The Mets scored 5 runs in the first and beat the Padres. Evan Cedric Mullins homered. The Yankees had a 10-1 lead and then barely beat the Twins, 10-9. Cal Raleigh hit 2 more home runs making it 56 on the season. The Moment of The Day: Al had pain down there and used a mirror to find out what was wrong. In the final segment of the show, Mike Hill from Boomer's Foundation stopped by and told us about going to Burning Man.

There's always something special about the Italian Grand Prix. It's a combination of the out and out speed of the circuit, the stands full of the Tifosi , even when Ferrari aren't on top form and of course a National Anthem before the race that it's impossible to sing without sounding like you 100% mean every word of it. And this week, we got the full package! This week we look back at the Monza race where Max Verstappen proved that RedBull can still make a car that can destroy the rest of the grid on pure pace alone and McLaren proved that they are human after all by making mistakes and then fudging their solution to them when they crop up! Big announcement form us this week as well as we launch our new merch store, thanks to the wonderful people (especially Larisa) from Dashery. We've already got a few new designs up and it's not just t-shirts, there's mugs, stickers and even cushons with more designs to follow. Check it out at https://3legs4wheels.dashery.com/Aside from that there's the usual ton of tangents and occasional missed jokes (Paul). And if you want to join in with the chat during the races (along with practice and qualifying) head over to our Discord where there's always a great crowd of people to watch along with. And on the socials we've got our Facebook, Instagram, BlueSky & Twitter (or is it X) and Paul's attempts at Sim Racing on our Twitch channel. And if you want to support us you can donate to our Patreon as well from as little as £/$/€ 1 per monthEnjoy

In this episode of Talk of Fame, Kylie Montigney talks with Krystal King! At three years old, Krystal caught a snippet of Alan Jackson on the radio...and the rest is history. Country music was in her bones. She followed this love of music to college where she studied Music Therapy at Appalachian State University (home of Eric Church & Luke Combs) and worked as a psychiatric music therapist. While she loved being able to use music to help others, Krystal says that country music "haunted" her and she knew she had to follow that passion, bringing her to Nashville. Krystal's sound has been described as 90's country with a bit of folk, blues, soul, and rock. Krystal combines early influences of artists such as Alan Jackson, Dixie Chicks, Lee Ann Womack, & Willie Nelson with modern likes of Eric Church, Chris Stapleton, & Ashley McBryde. When it comes to songwriting, Krystal says "Loretta Lynn is my alter ego." Krystal has released 9 original singles -6 of which were produced by Mike Loudermilk (previously producing and playing guitar for Crystal Gayle). Over the next year, She will be releasing her self produced, Debut Album "Pretty Poison" (CD Available Now). The first single from the project, "Red Wine & White Lies" has over 15K streams on Spotify and "Mind Your Own Backyard," a quirky murder song from the album, has 27K music video views and is featured on the Heartland Network and CountryLine. Krystal has had the honor of performing iconic stages including the Bluebird Cafe, The Listening Room Cafe and Tootsies Orchid Lounge in Nashville and tours nationally visiting NC, TN, WI, AL, AZ, MS, & FL, & Texas. Additionally Krystal has played several festivals with headliners including Walker Hayes (WestHaven PorchFest), Craig Morgan (Keys To Country), Kristian Bush (Meeting of the Minds) and opened for Beth Neilson Chapman (writer of "This Kiss" by Faith Hill.). In 2024, Krystal had the honor of performing the VIP Lounge at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville for the Lainey Wilson Concert Other notable performances included the National Anthem for the Charlotte FC out of the Panthers Stadium and the Novant Health Thanksgiving Parade in Charlotte, NC. Listen in as we discuss Krystal's journey and her life in Tennessee. Our cohosts were surprised and delighted to learn, thanks to today's crossword, that there are four countries whose national anthems have no lyrics, and so people instead hum, or sing something along the lines of "na, na, na". The four countries in question are Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, San Marino, and Spain. One of those appears in today's grid, and to preserve an air of suspense and mystery, we will defer identifying that country here in the show notes. We will say, though, that the crossword in general, courtesy of Gia Bosko, was quite well done, perfectly satisfying and suitable for a Friday: we give it 5 squares on the JAMCR scale.Besides the crossword, we also have some very interesting listener mail, so be sure and check that out as well!Show note imagery: SAMUELCHASE, the only supreme court justice to have ever been impeached (but he was acquitted of all charges). We love feedback! Send us a textWhat happens when destiny meets talent? Christopher Macchio's remarkable journey from a shy teenager hiding his voice to becoming "America's Tenor" exemplifies how embracing your gifts can transform your life in extraordinary ways.At just 13, Macchio discovered he could mimic different vocal styles while listening to the Godfather Part III soundtrack. Yet fear kept this talent hidden until a perceptive high school choir director recognized his exceptional gift during a private audition. Even then, stage fright followed Macchio to music conservatory, where classmates remained unaware of his abilities until final exams revealed his stunning voice. The pivotal moment in Macchio's career came through a last-minute opportunity when Elton John canceled a New Year's Eve performance at Mar-a-Lago. With less than 24 hours' notice, Macchio flew to Palm Beach and captivated Donald Trump and a thousand guests, leading to an invitation to perform at Rod Stewart's 70th birthday celebration the following week. His connection with the Trump family deepened when he was asked to perform at Robert Trump's White House funeral in 2020 – only the third funeral ever held in the East Room after Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy. This profound experience culminated in singing the National Anthem at President Trump's 2024 inauguration inside the Capitol Rotunda.Beyond his performances, Macchio passionately advocates for elevating music culture. As co-founder of the charity "Make Music Right," he guides young people in creating wholesome content that inspires rather than appeals to base instincts. His perspective on contemporary music reflects his belief that art should elevate listeners aesthetically and morally.Defining himself as "curious, ambitious, and grateful," Macchio's philosophy centers on understanding human experiences, valuing truth, and finding beauty in authenticity. His story reminds us that our greatest potential often lies behind our deepest fears, and that embracing our gifts – not for personal glory but to serve others – can open doors we never imagined possible.Join us for this intimate conversation with Christopher Macchio and discover how music can transcend politics, connect hearts, and reveal the extraordinary beauty that comes from sharing your authentic voice with the world.About Christopher MacchioFollow Christopher on INSTAGRAMMake Music RightAbout your Host- Alexia MelocchiBuy My Book - An Insiders Secret: Mastering the Hollywood PathAlexia Melocchi - WebsiteThe Heart of Show Business - WebsiteLittle Studio Films - WebsiteShop Our Merchandise!TwitterInstagramFacebookLinkedInThanks for listening!
