Geez, this new way of life has been draining me into insanity. What are your thoughts? Here are my thoughts. You may agree, you may disagree, that is fine and that's ok. I talk about that too. Not trying to make anyone drink the Kool-Aid, but I want to see if there are other flavors out there.
This episode, I speak with an advocate and a mother Ms. Ashley Pope, who is also on the Board of Directors of Autism Society. She shares her story from a parent's perspective to help us understand how important it is to be an advocate whether you have someone in your life on the Autism Spectrum or not.
Autism in perspectiveIn this episode, I chew the cud with Gerad and Gilbert. As they share their experience with me, I seek to understand how they felt living with their respective disabilities from an early age, to current times and how they foresee their future as they walk along the streams of time.
I had an opportunity to chat with Dr. Sarah Pelangka to discuss a little bit about Autism. There is so much about the topic, but we only scratch the surface. It is the famous speech from Dr. King. Have you ever heard it in its entirety? I thought I give you the pleasure of hearing it. It still rings true in a way that we don't normally hear this speech. I mean, how many of you can say that you've heard this speech from beginning to end? Or how long has it been? We need to remember that we are all one kind, the humankind. I think most of us are still afraid of progress, some may think progress isn't possible, but I am here to say that Progress is Possible Visit Answer the Public to see what is trending with the keyword(s) "I have a dream". Make entertainment great again! Ricky Gervais recently hosted the Golden Globes, and had a Public Service Announcement to the world. The Englishman does this with poise and smoothness like 007. This was a quick fun episode I wanted to get done, so it should be a quick listen for you! Cheers.

After coming home from work, I reflect on my experience engaging with high school students. High school students, that don't have a clue about what they are going to do after graduation...and college/trade schools are not in their plans. Is this the generation that is supposed to be 'woke'? Is this the generation that is on the on-deck circle for us?? What are you doing millennials, boomers? What are we doing to help guide these padawans to carry on the torch? Also, I scratch the surface on the topic of being diverse.
