After a little hiatus from the podcast, everyone's back in one place and 2024 is off to a great start. The whole family is playing golf together and the Christmas meal came out great. But fireworks? Not so much.

Goodson faired pretty well in a recent golf tournament, but a restaurant experience at a pretty high end hotel was not so good. And business at Chord Buddy has picked a little as Christmas gets closer.

There's nothing like the bond and love between father and daughter at Thanksgiving. For Travis and Bradi? Not so much. They strap on the gloves and go at it in a hilarious deep dive discussion about how the family's dressing turned out. Not stuffing. Dressing.

Travis is online on Zoom today so we spent a few pre holiday minutes with Bradi, who filled us in on Gauge's trip to the National Peanut Festival, what the family might be doing for Thanksgiving and what Gauge might be getting for Christmas.

Bradi took Gauge Trick or Treating. A friendly boxing contest between Travis and Bradi turned into a knee problem. And Christmas can't come soon enough for Chord Buddy on the revenue side of things.

The entire Perry family, and then some, went to Gatlinburg for some vacation fun. And something mysterious caused a rather large glitch in Chord Buddy matrix. Hmmm.

This week Travis and Bradi hit the usual restaurant talk around the Wiregrass area and a funny story about their trip to the lake that Bradi didn't think was so funny. And Travis is about to leave for a doctors appointment and a procedure for his upper GI.

We covered flat tires, the Chord Buddy parking lot, food, Zoom meetings, cats under the hood and I think we mentioned Chord Buddy.

Yep, a little bit of talk about food, a future family vacation to Gatlinburg and parts and pieces are coming in to build more Chord Buddys. And newest family member Gauge, celebrated his first birthday!

Travis' favorite grandson and Bradi's little man, Gauge, will celebrate his first birthday this Saturday! And Travis' boss, Laurie Perry, will celebrate her birthday Saturday too. Travis also recounts his extremely lucky weekend at a casino in Montgomery.

Guess which restaurant Travis can't stop going to? A milestone was reached pertaining to the old family homestead in Coffee County. And some new Chord Buddy ads are popping up on Facebook that are produced by AI.

Travis and Bradi are back in the gym and they're happy to be back at it. There was a little bit of discussion about last night's debate. And Travis will have a video tutorial on Facebook on how to play Rich Men North of Richmond with Chord Buddy.

Travis loves crab legs and he's found a "new" favorite place to scarf 'em up. Could the old homestead finally be sold? The kids are back in school and maybe business will begin to ramp back up.

The elusive middle daughter, Eley made her first appearance on the podcast and talked about her whitewater rafting weekend. Meanwhile, the rest of the family headed off to Savanah, Georgia for an eventful weekend of their own.

Maybe you could call it the midsummer blues. Travis and Bradi chat about an upcoming weekend in Savannah and how once Fall kicks in, business will pick up a good bit. And we get schooled us on cooking spaghetti

Travis and Goodson hosted the show this week and talked about fireworks for the 4th. The boys also discussed their newest cool place to eat. And after the holiday slowdown, business at Chord Buddy did pick back up a little.

Travis hurt his knee while boxing or maybe sparring with Bradi and an MRI next week will reveal what's to come. Rain has halted golf and other outdoor activities. And a new restaurant in town was discovered.

A trip to the beach seemed to be just what the family needed and what Goodson needed to get his golf game in order. Of course that brought on a good bit of food talk including a trip to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Destin and a couple of favorite places to eat back home too. Mmmm, that's good podcasting.

Goodson played in a recent Junior Golf Association tournament and didn't do so well, but he wasn't really expecting to. This lead to talk about Liv Golf and PGA's merger. And we found a way to say a few things about Chord Buddy too.

We had lunch Memorial Day with Travis and the family at their home near Cottonwood, just down the road from Chord Buddy headquarters. Travis grilled up his "famous" thin burgers and hot dogs too. Plus he reveals the secret recipe behind those burgers which came from his late father. Bradi and Goodson joined in the fun too.

This week Bradi had to take Gauge to a doctor's appointment so Goodson took her chair and helped his dad get the podcast done. Goodson is finished with school for the season so we talked a bit about golf and baseball. And Travis rounded out the discussion with plenty of food talk and Memorial Day weekend plans.

Goodson seems a little bummed out by his last golf game. And losing his gold chain didn't help. But Travis helped him find it. And could Travis be letting go of the Perry Store property and the old homestead in Covington County?
