Luke is a new team mate of mine on TRINITY racing, he is from the USA and has just taken his first stage win of 2021 at Tour d'Eure-et-Loir. We are currently both living in Belgium and after a few chats about the American cycling scene and his progression through it I was sure I wanted to get him on the podcast to chat. He has lots to say and a really mature way of thinking about his future. I hope you enjoy. Russ Ellis in my opinion is the best in the business when it comes to racing photography. His ability to capture the moment, emotion and effort that goes into the world tour peloton is amazing. In this episode we chat about what its like to be a photographer on the back of a motorbike at races like Roubaix and Flanders, how he made his way to being the main photographer for Ineos and Specialized, and all the racing/camera talk in-between. This was a real privilege to chat to someone who I have looked up to for a long time, so I really appreciate him taking the time!
