French lesson: Le Talisman Brisé

In the last episode in the series, Professor Omar offers Nathalie the job of head of security at the Agronomical Research Centre. A year later, in Gorom Gorom, Professor Omar is about to reveal a new plant that could grow in the desert...

The ransom and the thief are found. And Nathalie turns out to be a police officer! Kwamé meets Professor Omar at the Agronomical Research Centre. He gives him the second part of the talisman and the code of Professor Kwada and...

The police finally free Professor Omar and the Fendiougou, and his men are arrested. Nathalie is pleased with Kwamé for being so courageous. But suddenly, Mr Kaboré realises that the money with the ransom has disapeared...

Kwamé finally finds professor Omar and tells him that the police and Gieta are not far behind. But professor Omar warns Kwamé that the police must intervene as quicky as possible ... after 10:30 pm it will be too late.

Kwamé, Nathalie and the police are all going together to the Darcoy swamp. But Kwamé is worried about the police plan. He wants to go the camp on his own first to make sure Professor Omar is safe.

While Kwamé is behind bars, he recaps all he knows about the mysterious kidnapping of Professor Omar. It seems like Kwamé cannot trust anyone ... not even Nathalie. He has to get out of jail, but how?

Kwamé is on his way to Darcoy to rescue Professor Omar, but the police take him and put him in jail. That means Nathalie betrayed him.

Kwamé and Nathalie track down the Fendiougou, Professor Omar's kidnapper. In order to do so, they have to found the woman who works for him. The Fendiougou left two days ago with guns and a jeep. The clock is ticking...

Kwamé and Nathalie are trying to find some answers in Professor Omar's mail box. They discover that some e-mails are from a Professor Aboubakari .... but he can't be a real professor. In fact, he must be the kidnapper!

Back from Niamey, Kwamé and Nathalie go to the Gieta where Monsieur Kaboré informs them that the kidnappers want a 100,000 euro ransom. The voice of one of the kidnappers reminds Kwamé of someone ... but who?

Kwamé and Nathalie find that Professor Kwada has been attacked by the man Kwamé met. They convince Professor Kwada to give them his talisman in order to crack the code. But three letters are missing which means that only Professor Omar can open the file and only he can make the desert green again.

Kwamé meets Nathalie as she investigates the university. She shows him a picture of the real Professor Kwada and he realises that the man he met was an impostor. Then, they both try to enter into Professor Omar's files ... but what is the access code?  

Kwamé and Clément go to see Professor Kwada's laboratory. Kwamé then goes alone to Professor Kwada's office ... but the Professor sounds so weird. What's going on?

Kwamé and Clément are in a little village, 20 kilometres away from Niamey. When Kwamé finds himself on his own, a stranger offers him a drink that makes his head spin. What's happening?

Kwamé goes to see an African sorcerer to find out what to do. His rooster will give him all the precious information he needs to find Professor Omar.

Kwamé recalls all the adventures he has been through. And he and Clément plan to go on a trip to Niamey, in Niger.

Kwamé finds no trace of the mysterious DNA code in Professor Omar's computer. But his friend Clément comes along with some very interesting new information about the professor's project.

Kwamé has to find the missing part of the broken talisman. He discovers that Nathalie knows the tale about the Sahara. Together they find that there's a mysterious DNA code is engraved on the talisman...

Kwamé is being questionned by the Police. Who kidnapped Professor Omar? When Kwamé is about to leave the police station, a phone call informs the Police that the kidnappers want a ransom...

Kwamé discovers that he is wanted by the police for the kidnapping of Professor Omar. Even worse, Nathalie is with the police.

Back in Gorom-Gorom, Kwamé reviews the situation: the broken talisman, the files in the electronic notebook, the visit to Tondiédo, the aunt's prophecy. Everything indicates that Professor Omar is the wise man who would know how to make the dessert green again. But who has the other half of the talisman: Omar or his kidnappers? How to find them? When Natalie comes, she explains she works for the police! Friend or enemy? Kwamé hesitates...

The night has fallen over Tondiédo. Kwamé takes a room at the "Hôtel des Nomades" at Markoye, a nearby village. Next morning, at breakfast, he falls for Nathalie, a charming French girl, originated from Nigeria. She arranges to meet him the next day at the cyber-cafe in Gorom-Gorom. But why does she ask all these questions?

At Tondiédo, the prehistoric engravings show that once upon a time, the desert was green. Kwamé meets Clément, the guide, who knew Omar well. Can he help him to find Omar, so that the desert becomes green again? This reminds Kwamé of a tale his aunt used to tell: ‘One day, a man will come. He will breathe life back into the grass and the trees you once knew.’

Who has kidnapped Professor Omar? Was he on the point of succeeding in his research to make the Sahara green again? In the electronic notebook that Kwamé has found, Omar has left quite a lot of information about the prehistoric site at Tondiédo. Kwamé decides to go there, but his motorbike breaks down and he has to get it repaired by the mechanic.
