Welcome to the GUIDE Podcast! Where the mission is to be live a life guided by Jesus Christ and we, then, lead the misguided in our world to Jesus Christ.Â
What does purpose look like? Everyone's looking for it, but where do we find it? We find it in our Creator. In this episode we will look into the life of Jesus and see how he was propelled into purpose. But it may not look like purpose at first. Sometimes purpose is a challenge, a test, a trial, a mountain that is before us. We will discuss this today. This recording came from our Sunday school lesson but it was too powerful not to share with the Podcast family! I wanted to utilize this lesson for the listeners! Thank you for all your support. Sometimes in life, we can believe that failures are final. The damage is done. We're too broken to be mended back together. We have too many issues in our lives and there is no help. There was a lady in the Bible who was a Samaritan. Born with issues, and she made decisions which added more issues to her life, but that didn't keep Jesus away from her. But Jesus “must needs go through Samaria.” (John 4:4). Jesus is not afraid of our issues. But He wants to offer help and Salvation.Let's connect on social media:Instagram: @Text10MinFacebook: @Text10MinistriesReceive Daily Devotionals: Text “@text10one” and send to “81010”Intro Music: Tech Showcase - MorningLightMusic.ioPodcast Music: Come 2Gether - Ooyy
Unfortunately, at some point in time we will be hurt by someone. We will be wronged by someone. The Bible says that we will be. But how do we overcome the hurt the right way and be truly healed? We discuss this in today's episode! Jesus cares for us and in His Word we are given instructions on what to do! Believe it or not, Jesus Christ desires to lead us from the moment we wake up until the moment we fall asleep each and every day of our lives. Scripture tells us that the spirit of truth will guide us into all truth. That's insinuating that the Holy Spirit (which is Jesus Christ) desires to lead and guide us every day and at every moment. In this episode, we will take a journey through the Bible and review some biblical truths of being led by the Holy Spirit. There are some biblical steps that we must obey and follow after. We must hunger to be little guy and be obedient to His voice.Let's connect on social media:Instagram: @Text10MinFacebook: @Text10MinistriesReceive Daily Devotionals: Text “@text10one” and send to “81010”Intro Music: Tech Showcase - MorningLightMusic.ioPodcast Music: Come 2Gether - Ooyy
Our human nature will sometimes go to extremities when we sin before God. But God's Word has a simply, yet powerful truth that we need. Romans 5:20 says, "Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:"In the moment we sin, grace is available to reach us. It's His Amazing Grace that is available to us all. It's there to pick you up. Don't believe in the condemnation, believe in His Grace! It is greater than your sin. You can't go too deep that Jesus can't reach you. His love, grace, and mercy is available and is greater than our sin!Follow me on social media:Instagram: @Text10MinFacebook: @Text10MinistriesReceive Daily Devotionals: Text “@text10m” and send to “81010”Intro Music: Tech Showcase - MorningLightMusic.ioPodcast Music: Come 2Gether - Ooyy
What if God has placed you in an ordained stand-still. Where you can't go forward. You can't go backwards. A similar story is found in the Book of Exodus where God allow His people to run into the Red Sea and the Egyptians are closing in on them. It was an ordained stand-still, but God was in control and He is in control in your life also!Follow me on social media:Instagram: @Text10MinFacebook: @Text10MinistriesReceive Daily Devotionals: Text “@text10m” and send to “81010”Intro Music: Tech Showcase - MorningLightMusic.ioPodcast Music: Come 2Gether - Ooyy
There was a quote I heard years ago by Sis. Vesta Mangun. She said, “Everyday we go without prayer and reading the Word, we give our to the devil.” Who has your day? Every morning we are faced with a challenge of who gets our day? Will it be Satan or Jesus Christ? I pray this episode encourages you and informs you of the importance of daily prayer and Bible reading.
What can we learn from afflictions? Well there's quite a few things we learn today. While Jesus was with the disciples, He allowed a storm into their lives and it revealed the fear and lack of faith in their lives (Mark 4:35-40)Takeaways from today's episode:• We shouldn't have a “God, save me” mentality all the time.• We shouldn't have a “God, why me” mentality. Or playing victim. • God wants to REVEAL His character to us in the storm.• God, out of love, wants to REVEAL our flawed character during the storm.Follow me on social media:Instagram: @Text10MinFacebook: @Text10MinistriesReceive Daily Devotionals: Text “@text10m” and send to “81010”Intro Music: Ode to Odd - 20sylPodcast Music: Come 2Gether - Ooyy
In this episode of the #TEXTBACK, we have Bro. Joe Smith with us this week. Bro. Joe is from Parkway Church in Madison, MS. He is a worship leader at his church, apart of MS Allstate Choir, and serve in many other areas in the church. But above all these areas of the church, he has a motto that he lives by: Being Unseen. The goal of any ministry is not to glorify ourselves, but to glorify Jesus and Him only. It's never about us but all about Him.Also check out Draylin Young's album: "Unseen" Link is here! https://www.draylinyoungmusic.com/Follow me on social media:Instagram: @Text10MinFacebook: @Text10MinistriesReceive Daily Devotionals: Text “@text10m” and send to “81010”Intro Music: Tech Showcase - MorningLightMusic.ioPodcast Music: Come 2Gether - Ooyy

Who loves to be afflicted? Not me. Probably not you either. But there are lessons to learn in the midst of the affliction.“It is good for me that I have been afflicted; That I might learn thy statutes.” Psalm 119:71 KJVThis is a powerful lesson to learn here. The writer used “afflicted” meaning that it was good to experience the affliction because they learn God's Word in the process. I can guarantee you that in the midst of the trial the writer didn't understand it, but afterwards they did. But I believe this can encourage us to dig into the Word “during” the trial. There's a lesson in the Word during a trial. If you've enjoyed this episode, please share it with your family, friends, coworkers, enemies etc. Let's change the world by sharing the Word. This episode is targeted towards a lie we've all heard and we have all believed. We have acted on it too. And that lie is: (drum roll please) FOLLOW YOUR HEART. Following your heart is the most dangerous thing you and I can do. Our hearts will lead us down a path to destruction. It's only by the mercies of Christ we are not destroyed by us following our sinful hearts. Jeremiah 17:9 says, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”Follow me on social media:Instagram: @Text10MinFacebook: @Text10MinistriesReceive Daily Devotionals: Text “@text10m” and send to “81010”Intro Music: Call Me - LiQWYDPodcast Music: Come 2Gether - Ooyy

We're picking up where we left of! Last episode we talked about the "WHY" we face temptation. Now we're dealing with how to combat our LUSTFUL temptations that are dressed up so beautifully. But it's all lies from Satan. In this episode, I will be providing three verses that I believe can help you as it has helped me in my personal life. Now there are many more verses to find in the Word of God. So as I provide a small list, look for other verses that helps you! Add more to the collection. We need as many verses as we can get because Satan will not stop tempting us. Have a great day in Jesus Name! #ObeyActs238
3 SIMPLE POINTS to this! There are things in life we "just know", but we deserve to know the "WHY" when it comes to the temptations that we face. Because of giving into temptation at the beginning of mankind, it's something we all deal for the rest of our lives here on earth. There is no escaping temptation, but knowing the Truth is half the battle! That is the battle we want to win. So that's what we're going to learn about today! If you find this episode helpful, consider sharing with a few of your friends, and on your social media platform! This is something we all need to know!
Worship, not to be confused with praise, is expensive. In this episode we will merely scratch the surface of how worship is NOT pretty or glamorous, but is costly. Mary must have keep that pound of precious ointment for a long time. Nobody really knows the exact value of it, but we do know two people who noticed it. Judas and Jesus. What are the odds! One saw it as a waste and The One saw it as pure worship. True worship in eyes of man looks like a waste, but in the eyesight of Jesus Christ it is the correct posture!
There's coming a day where the things we hold on to today will no longer be worth holding on to. There's coming a day where all of our precious posessions will no longer have any value, and on that day we will really take into account of what really mattered each and everyday of our lives. A humble beginning I must say. Faith in Jesus Christ can take you places that He can only take you and that's how it was for me. It was Christmas break of 2016 where I decided that I would start teaching bible studies on the college campus. These were uncharted waters, but the impact of one decision yesterday became my future calling into becoming the person I am today! For that I am forever grateful! Genesis: means the origin or the beginning! While this may not be the beginning for Text 10 Ministries, this is the beginning for Text 10 Podcast! I am humbly excited for the next level of Text 10! The mission is still the same: strengthen, encourage, and build. I pray through this episode and future episodes we'll accomplish just that! I'm forever grateful for the journey and all who are apart of it! Always remember that YOU are blessed and have a great day in JESUS NAME!
