We talk with Milford, NH's Town Administrator Lincoln Daley about project updates and upcoming projects for the town.

In this episode I sit down with Milford Town Moderator Pete Basiliere. Pete give us a complete rundown on what we can all expect at next week's General Election (Nov 3, 2020). Pete discusses the move from the Middle School to the High School, and all of the changes made to accommodate covid-19 protocols to ensure the safety of all votes and volunteers.

In this episode, we sit down with Milford School Board chairman Mike Hannon and SAU40 School District Superintendent Dr. Jessica Huizenga to discuss the current situation in the Milford Schools regarding COVID-19 and remote learning. Chairman Hannon and Dr. Huizenga talk about how we got to where we are, what is currently happing on the ground to implement remote learning, and what plans and contingencies are being made going forward.

In this episode, Milford's "Big Three"; Fire Chief and Emergency Services Director Ken Flaherty, Police Chief Mike Viola, and Ambulance Director Eric Schelberg sit down together to discuss Milford's response to the COVID-19 emergency. The chiefs discuss the current situation in Milford, the processes in place to respond to the citizens of Milford if needed, as well as what they are doing to keep their own staff safe.

This week we sit down with Milford's new Town Administrator John Shannon. We learn about John's background and how he came learn about this position. The bulk of the discussion revolves around Milford's response to the current COVID-19 situation and what Milford is doing to keep services running, Emergency Services on the ready, and the public safe.

Joan offers some tips to residents who need to come to Town Hall and offers suggestions on how to make their experience the high point of their day.

This week's guest is Eric Schelberg, Director of the Milford Ambulance Service. Eric talks about the history of ambulance service in Milford from the days when the service was provided by the local Funeral home, to today's municipal service with its new state of the art facility. Eric also talks about the challenges of maintaining top of the line vehicles and equipment as well as keeping his staff trained to provide the best possible service for the people of Milford.

This week's guest is Public Works Director Ricky Riendeau. Ricky talks about the organization and function of the Department of Public Works, including Road & Highways, Parks & Cemeteries, the Transfer Station, Recycling and Facilities Maintenance. We also discuss the reasoning behind the most recent town wide residential revaluation. We also discuss available tax credits, exemptions and abatements and how those all work.

This week we talk with Lincoln Daley, Milford's Community Development Director. Lincoln talks about his position, as well as all aspects of zoning, planning and future development in town. Lincoln also gives us an update on some ongoing projects.
