Seit 1998 zerlegt Christoph Süß in "quer" Politik und Gesellschaft - klug, bayerisch, bissig. Der Münchner Kabarettist verbindet Tiefgang mit trockenem Witz und nimmt dabei oft zuerst sich selbst aufs Korn.

Er sprach laut aus, was er sich mal lieber nur still gedacht hätte und besiegelte damit das Ende seiner TV-Karriere. Jörg Dahlmann war vier Jahrzehnte lang eine der bekanntesten Stimmen der deutschen Fußballübertragung als er seine Begeisterung für Sophia Thomalla mit einem flapsigen Spruch zum Ausdruck brachte. Die BILD-Zeitung lieferte die Schlagzeile, sein Arbeitgeber Sky zeigte dem erfolgreichen Fußballkommentator die gelbe Karte wegen Sexismus. Vom Platz gestellt wurde er schlussendlich, als ihm ein vermeintlich rassistischer Vergleich unterstellt wurde, den Jörg von Anfang an weit von sich weißt. Doch auch mit über 60 Jahren lässt sich der Gecancelte nicht unterkriegen, und startet im Reality-TV seine zweite Karriere. Er erzählt mir in unserem Gespräch, wie er seinen Rausschmiss und die Vorwürfe gegen ihn erlebt hat, die zu einer medialen Empörung geführt haben, die er gar nicht nachvollziehen kann. Zum Berichtsgebiet gehört auch Mali, ein Land, dessen Einwohner momentan unter Kämpfen zwischen Dschihadisten, Separatisten und Regierungstruppen leiden. Die deutsche Bundeswehr war im Rahmen einer UN-Mission von 2013 bis 2023 in dem Land. Restle erzählt in der zweiten Folge unserer dreiteiligen Reihe über den afrikanischen Kontinent u.a. von den Schwierigkeiten, über Mali zu berichten. Die Boyz, einst einig verklärt in purer Fußballromantik, müssen feststellen: Diese Zeiten sind vorbei. Während Andi sich vollumfänglich der WM hingibt, rast Ralle lieber über menschenleere Autobahnen. Positive Vibes? Nun, unfassbar gechillt wie so mancher Nationalspieler vor Turnierbeginn surfen die beiden Rasenschachlegastheniker nicht durch die aufgewühlte See der aktuellen Themenweltlage. Trumpeske Gladiatorenspiele gepaart mit infantilen Friedenspreisen – Größenwahnsinn treibt so seine Blüten. Inmitten eines immer grotesker werdenden Politik- und Funktionärsgehabes gilt es, dringende Fragen zu klären: Wer verdammt noch mal hatte die Idee, Kerner als Moderator zurückzuholen? Wie gut, dass es Sarkasmus gibt. Sich seiner bedienen zu können – ein dankbares Geschenk in diesen Zeiten. Ach ja, Deutschland wird natürlich Weltmeister. Das ist klar. Bleibt chillig und stabil. Since 2007, she has served the people of Wall Street United Church in eastern Ontario. Her active ministry has led her to working within the wider church, chairing Pastoral Relations in Foothills Presbytery, serving as President of Bay of Quinte Conference, and working on the Eastern Ontario Outaouais Regional Council Transition Commission. She also inspires and nurtures church leaders' faith through clergy retreats, workshops and preaching conferences. She lives in Brockville, Ontario, with her husband and youngest of her four children ranging in age from 15 to 27 years and Salty the dog. His counter-argument is that AI now lets you be — in his words — a specialist of everything. In this conversation, we dig into what that actually means for MBA students, career switchers, and anyone trying to figure out how to use AI without offloading their thinking to it. We cover how Leo teaches non-coders to ship working products in a single class session, how he uses six different AI models to plan a vacation (and why), the new category of jobs emerging around human-AI collaboration, and why the people who panic about AI are usually the ones who haven't played with it yet. 3 Key Takeaways 1. Do you think per Shanker's advice that Rowling-Galbraith is giving us jewelry as a gift, one that acts as a key to the work in Hallmarked and before Evangeline, because she wants to make up with us for the hardship readers are having with the book?6. True confession, though I was laughing out loud and delighted with your breaking the Todd Jameson cryptonym, I was also pretty disappointed; that name was number 1 on my not-yet-written third cryptonym post. What consoles me is that I doubt I would have picked up on what you saw, which is mind-blowing. Tell us how you figured it out as well as what you found --7. Now this is a new variant of Rowling-Galbraith inserting a text within the text. This ectopic sub-story isn't a written text, a fairy tale, an epigraph, a song playing in the background, an illustration based on a mad detective's Tarot card throws, or the story the bad guy is selling that we have to unwind and re-write; we've seen those books-inside-the-book before. This is Rowling concealing a narrative inside the narrative with really only the name to act as the cipher for the coded message. Hence her talking up the importance of names in this book (e.g. Jolanda -- violets)?8. You make a fascinating connection with Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived, and Todd Jameson, the Son Who Killed His Mother (?). Do you think she finally wrote in a Chosen One echo in the Strike series via Jameson?9. In today's episode, we speak to Soria Hamidi and Christopher Adams-Cohen, whose respective plays - A Burst of Light and All the Beasts of the Earth - were highly commended by the Woven Voices Prize 2025.Soria is Dutch-Afghan playwright, screenwriter and director based in London. They were selected for the Kiln Theatre Young Writers Programme, the Vineyard Theatre Literary Programme and Kali Theatre Workshops. They were also selected for the London Library Emerging Writers Programme in 2022-23. They recently had their play, The Moderator, shown at Theatre503 as part of the Landwrites project.Christopher is a Los Angeles-born, London-based playwright of Ashkenazi Jewish heritage. They write and develop plays that subvert and expand classical theatrical forms, platform interdisciplinary and underground performance practices, and centre Queer perspectives, history, spirituality, and pleasure. Dr. Matt Fricke was raised in Hawaii. He started his undergraduate education at a small private college and finished it as well as his veterinary degree at Washington State University, earning his DVM in 1994.After graduation, he entered small animal practice in Iowa for one year, then relocated to a practice in Springfield, Oregon, where he remains to this day.He is certified in acupuncture by IVAS and in Animal Normalization Therapy by Patricia Kortekaas. He is also certified in Veterinary Chinese Herbal Medicine by A Time to Heal, and completed the Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation course. He has also been a teaching assistant for both the IVAS acupuncture course as well as the ANT training courses, as well as lecturing extensively.Dr. Fricke has been actively involved in organized veterinary medicine. He has served various roles for the Wild West Veterinary Conference, from Moderator to Integrative Medicine Track Chair to Conference President. He has also served on the Executive Board, including as President, of the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture.
