Psychiatric nurses Julia and Andria sit down semi-weekly to chit chat about the various and sundry problems they encounter working in psychiatric emergency services. Rants vary each episode based solely on our moods and recent experiences, but you can expect to hear some crazy stories, get mad alongside us about issues like homelessness and inadequate outpatient resources, and trauma trauma trauma. This is not a wellness podcast, and only sort of an educational podcast. We're just two nurses with problems talking about problems hoping that if we all are aware of the problems maybe we can find some solutions together. There is SO much to talk about, but for the pilot John episode, we'll narrow it down to Borderline Personality Disorder,  Traum-o-rama to the extreme, as well as some well deserved criticisms of the DSM-V (among many other juicy topics, like the concept of "acuity").
