The Cavs coughed up one of the most stunning collapses in recent playoff memory, surrendering a 22-point fourth quarter lead to Jalen Brunson and the Knicks in overtime, and Ken and Lima spend the opening of the show nearly as heated with each other as they are with the team. Ken calls it one of the greatest choke jobs in NBA history and questions whether the series is already cooked, while Lima pushes back hard — arguing you can't declare a series over after one game against a team you were already picked to lose to, and that the Cavs still have six more chances to respond. The real culprit is clear to both of them once the dust settles — Kenny Atkinson never adjusted defensively as Brunson went supernova, Harden played 42 minutes and couldn't defend or score down the stretch, and a Knicks team with actual shooters made Cleveland pay every time they tried to double, which is nothing like what Detroit threw at them.

On today's episode, investigative journalists ⁠Mandy Matney⁠ and ⁠Liz Farrell⁠ have to share a little warning first: What you're about to hear today is NOT for kids' ears. Which is sad to say because it's about law enforcement officers and what they do at the workplace.  In October 2020, an Horry County Police Officer, applying to work for Highway Patrol, was given a polygraph test as part of a pre-employment screening at South Carolina Department of Public Safety. The results of the test turned out to be so shocking that officials there reached out to the Horry County Police Department to let them know that they had a problem — problems that included sexual misconduct of officers, masturbation at work, drunk driving, sexting photos of genitals while in uniform and even potential child abuse.  According to several sources close to the situation, this polygraph is what led to the outing of what is referred to among current and former officers as the Green Sea 14 — a group of officers, plus firefighters, who were having sex on duty and at police facilities.  As Mandy and Liz continue to dig into what Green Sea 14 means, who was involved, how far up in ranks the officers went and why it seemed to be swept under the rug by leadership, today they share what they found in the investigation file of one officer and what they think it says about the department as a whole, as well as those with the power to fix the problems.   Let's Dive in…

The New South Wales politician who helped expose the extent of abuse - and the subsequent cover ups - within the early childhood sector, is warning New Zealand needs to learn from Australia when it comes to the impact of privatisation. Greens politician Abigail Boyd invoked a powerful parliamentary order to force the release of internal departmental documents to scrutinise the regulator's handling of breaches in the childcare sector. A fraction of the documents were released, and revealed multiple reports of inappropriate sexual touching, broken elbows, broken wrists, children being kicked, verbally abused, inappropriate restraint, and force-feeding. Abigail Boyd says large private companies dominate the Australian early childhood sector, and occupancy targets, wage targets, revenue and profit targets, and budget targets all come before child wellbeing. Abigail spoke at an early childhood conference in Wellington yesterday, and a public meeting last night.
