Heavy hitting line-up tonight on Justice Interrupted! JIM MORET is Chief Correspondent for INSIDE EDITION, based in the Los Angeles bureau. Besides having his own show, Moret has appeared as a guest on more than 250 cable news and has over 20 years experience covering legal and entertainment stories. Most recently he is published the book, The Last Day of My Life. The somewhat provocative title came from Jim Moret’s very real feelings that he might be worth more dead than alive, which prompted him to ask himself what would he do if he had only twenty-four hours to live? Would he finally apologize to anyone he had wronged or forgive those who had hurt him? Throughout his book, he examines and evaluate his life in terms of gratitude, love, friendship, compassion, adventure, miracles and many other intangibles not often associated with the knee jerk financial definition of success. Moret will open up about his book, himself, his work and maybe even give us some legal opinions too!!CATHERINE HARPER LEE is the founder and Executive Director of The Justice League of Ohio - Ohio's only victims' rights legal clinic based in Powell, Ohio. Cathy will join Justice Interrupted to discuss a case where the system has prevented justice to prevail. A case of physical and sexual abuse, a case where the mother has done everything right and the system has failed. Perhaps the greatest miscarriage occurred on July 24, 2009. After pleas from the mother, Cherish Lewis, to Judge Crow to reconsider the evidence of physical & sexual abuse, afford time to review additional evidence and testimony of abuse, and not make a decision that day that would impact the safety of her child, Judge Crow ignored her pleas and issued an order that Cherish Lewis was to return the child to the father that day. Judge Crow has held Ms. Lewis in contempt of court for not producing the child, and ordered that she stay in jail until she turns her child over.
