Mennonite Christian Assembly
Our pursuit of maturing in Christ is not meant to be done alone. We are called to serve, care for, and love one another in the household of faith.
Join us for our Sunday morning worship service where we will be recognizing our high school senior.
Jesus is coming back! We ought to wait with patience for his sure return as we grow in grace and knowledge.
When false teachers whisper sweet words into the ears of immature Christians, the body of Christ begins to break apart and lose sight of the most important thing: the good news of salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We must hold tightly to Christ and the good news of the gospel!
This morning we celebrate the Risen King - Jesus.
The events of Jesus life, death, and resurrection are foretold in the prophecies of the Old Testament. We can read the Bible knowing that it is the true Word of God.
As we follow Jesus we grow spiritually. Press on to deepen your faith and keep growing in Christ!
In today's passage, Jesus humbles himself and symbolizes the cleansing power of forgiveness of sins by washing his disciples feet. God's grace to us, through His Son, cleanses us and puts us in right relationship with Him. "Do you understand what I have done for you?" - Jesus (John 13:12)
The Kingdom of Heaven will be different than anything we experience on earth. Therefore, our minds should be set on things of God rather than on things of the earth. When we set our mind on Jesus our lives are different and set apart.
Jesus sets high standards in the Sermon on the Mount. These help us see our need for a Savior.
Living hope allows us to face suffering with confidence in what is to come. Christ suffered for you, and Christ himself will restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
We are called to be holy before God - not just as individuals but as a church. The Lord will sanctify us as we build our lives on the sure foundation of Christ.
Through the resurrection of Jesus, we have a better hope that anything the world has to offer. You can live out your life with the confidence of salvation through Christ.
The great prophet Elijah experiences one of the most magnificent displays of God's power on earth, but then quickly hits rock bottom as despair and depression overwhelm him. God meets him in his darkness and restores him.
God invites us to cast our anxieties and burdens on him. In the story of David, we find the man after God's own heart expressing his unfiltered emotions to God, and God meets him in his loneliness.
God will come to us even in our darkest hour and make a way back to him. Like Jonah in the belly of the whale, even when we hit rock bottom in our disobedience and anger, God still pursues and rescues us.
We can experience joy no matter what discouragement we may be going through.
Jesus is the Prince of Peace, even when the winds blow and the storms swirl.
Sowing love into your own life and others' lives is a tiring but important part of the Christian walk. We should live our lives to love God and to love others. God frees us from isolation.
Walking in the Spirit produces a holy lifestyle and enhances our relationship with the Lord. We can have victory over our fleshly desires if we stay focused on walking in the Spirit. God frees us from the desires of the flesh.
The simplicity of the gospel can be hard to accept. When we know the truth intimately, we won't be swayed by deceptive messages. God frees us from legalism.
Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone. We should study Scripture closely, in order to recognize false teaching. God frees us from being people pleasers.
The nation of Israel failed to do her part, but even that failure would not prevent Gods promised Redeemer.
Gods justice is intentional and specific; his judgment is the result of his all-powerful nature. We are not able to measure up to His justice, but Jesus DID. What an amazing gift of Grace has been given to us through Jesus.
God has an ultimate plan. He has always been pointing toward the end. Even in his judgment, he is preparing us for something else.
None of our actions escape the attention of God. God is so concerned with how we treat others and represent him that he will do whatever it takes to make sure we treat others as he intends.
Followers of God are called to genuinely care for others, and God will determine if they have fulfilled that responsibility. God takes our responsibilities seriously, and when we fail to follow through, he promises justice.
Some of the baggage we haul around with us gives us anxiety about things out of our control. When we feel anxious, instead of bottling it up and keeping it within us, we should cast it on Jesus and trust him to handle it.
Many people are unwilling to experience the new things God is trying to do in their lives because of the baggage that keeps them longing for the past. When we wonder, what if or if only, we rob ourselves of the fresh work of God within us.
There are certain things in our lives we simply need to let go of in order to grow in our walk with Christ.

The Lord calls us to be good stewards of all he entrusts to us.
We are to forgive others when they sin against us. Forgiven people forgive people.
True faith leads us to obedience. Dont make empty promises.
We are to show compassion to our neighbors even the ones who are different than us.
Guest speaker Pastor Bob Fetterhoff joins us this week to talk about the significance of modern day Israel and Biblical Prophecy.
The life built on Jesus will stand strong!
Jesus will return suddenly at an unknown hour. Are you ready?
Phil Roberts brings the message this morning from Matthew 20. He presents a new thought on the name of this parable. A more appropriate name would be the Parable of the Vineyard Owner. Listen in to hear this perspective.
Our hearts are like soil into which the gospel is planted. Are you ready to receive the Word?
God is our safe place - even going to the extent of making the ultimate sacrifice for us. We can trust him.
God always has been and always will be. Unlike us, God does not depend on anything to exist. He is enternal. And yet, this great and glorious God desires to have a relationship with us.
