In the Star Trek: Voyager episode Prophecy, after decades adrift in the Delta Quadrant, a Klingon generation ship crosses paths with Voyager and finds what they've been looking for: a prophesied savior. Or rather, the unborn child of B'Elanna and Tom. Cue the ceremonial declarations, theological debates, and one very reluctant bat'leth duel. But when the Doctor uncovers a life-threatening illness among the Klingons, prophecy gives way to science, and that same baby might still be the key to salvation. Charlie Kirk Has Been Murdered - The Last Generation: A Culture of Hate and Violence by Shawn Ozbun
Coming up today, pastor Ray Bentley reminds us of the primary job description of believers to display the love of God. What is love? To put it simply, love is to put others before ourselves. That's what love is. The world's idea of love is the world and universe revolves around me. And that's not love. That is selfishness. Love is when I put others needs first spread.

One an example of how to live the Christian life. Pastor Ray Bentley says, Look to Jesus. We can live the life that Jesus lived. He is a model for us. Think of the way Jesus lived. That's our example. That's our model of human life. You say, well, yeah, but he's a messiah and he's God. And. No, no, no.
3I-ATLAS has ignited an online cataclysm of theories. They range from alien spaceships to the return of a messiah figure. What few stop to consider, however, beyond the necessity and rational of keeping an open mind, is how the symbolic nature of comets themselves could fulfill certain religious prophecies without much actually changing in the world. The presence of a celestial harbinger in the sky acts a portent of disease, regime changes, war, spiritual transformation, and prophetic visions, but the object is not a singular and final event. Comets come and go; they are part of the natural cosmic order of panspermia and apocalyptic destruction. And this latter point of view is how Buddhists see the Abrahamic eschatology. Viewed in this manner, the narratives built around the macrocosmic 3I-ATLAS begin to shrug. *The is the FREE archive, which includes advertisements. The Antichrist can't rise up whenever he wants to. Something or someone restrains the Man of Lawlessness, until that Restrainer is taken out of the way. This was all basic stuff to the Thessalonians. Paul says, "You know this," "You remember me telling you about this." And we're furiously taking notes: "Restrainer, question mark." So let's try to learn what they knew. Jim is ready with Part 3 of his sermon, Meet the Lord in the Air. And we're in 1 Thessalonians, chapter 4. Preterism says prophecy is already fulfilled. Some even claim Jesus returned in 70 A.D. But the Bible says otherwise. In this episode, we expose how a Jesuit scheme from the 1600s twisted prophecy to protect Rome, why it doesn't align with Scripture, and what the Word of God actually says about the Antichrist, the Great Tribulation, and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. 📱: It's never been easier to understand. Jesus paid the price for our sins. Pastor Ray Bentley explains the deeper meaning. Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. In a sense, do you know what I think that is saying to us is that when we go and stand before God, there's really only one sin that would separate you from God. The only sin that would separate you from God is if you rejected him, refuse his offer of love to cover you with his grace and his mercy, and wrap him with his own spirit.
Jesus returns with the church, not for the church! We've been trying to think more clearly about what will happen at the close of the age, the end of Gentile rule of the Earth. Christian scholars come up with different solutions for how to fit the scriptures together, but some solutions work better than others. If we keep an eye on the Bride, we'll have a good vantage point to see events unfold. From 1 Corinthians 13:8-14:5, Pete starts our 2-week series on The Gifts of the Spirit by looking at how Paul talks about Prophecy in the Bible, and how we can practise using this gift.
Now, there's no shortage of voices out there with wild end time theories. Some are fascinating, some are entertaining, and some are flat-out dangerous. But here's the truth: the difference between good doctrine and false doctrine almost always comes down to one thing—hermeneutics = Bible Interpretation. How do you know who is right? Well, follow standard Bible hermeneutics, and you will be closer to the Truth.Links: LINKS:https://thomastaylorministries.org/interpret-bible-symbolshttps://thomastaylorministries.orghttps://wormwoodasteroid.com/Music: Strawberry Candy | Free Background Music ).https://soundcloud.com/strawberry-candy-music/space-desert-1-hour-royalty-free-1-hour-space-ambient-music-for-youtube-videos-free-download?si=38a09c116541486787475df18a6c0897&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing
Today, Pastor Al Dagel continues to examine the prayer Jesus taught His disciples.
Prophecy is unfolding before our very eyes. Political leaders and religious elites are joining hands — not in worship of God, but in allegiance to man's own institutions. And if you dare to look beneath the surface, you'll see exactly where it's headed: straight toward the end-time system the Bible warned would one day rise. Psalm 91 and Ecclesiastes 1: With Long Life Will I Satisfy Him by Shawn Ozbun
Pastor Ray Bentley says, we all have a choice about our personal walk of faith. When you walk in the light and have fellowship with God, you have more joy and peace and love and all the fruits of the spirit. You turn your back on God. You dive into the darkness. You're going to be the opposite of love and the opposite of peace.
Please add a meeting to your calendar. Time: Unknown. Place: The sky. Meeting host: Jesus. We will "meet the Lord in the air," Paul writes - and that was the best promise of all time until he finished the sentence - "and so we shall always be with the Lord." But promises and prophecies about the End didn't start with the Apostles. They go back into the Old Testament. We'll look at a few examples to start the week, in Jim's message, Meet the Lord in the Air. Are you ever reading your Bible when God suddenly just stops you and says, “look at this”?Well, that happened to me earlier this summer. I was reading through I Kings and I got to chapter 19 where God gives Elijah some instructions. God says to ElijahIn verse 15“Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus. And when you arrive, you shall anoint Hazael to be king over Syria. Verse 16And Jehu the son of Nimshi you shall anoint to be king over Israel, and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel-meholah you shall anoint to be prophet in your place.”So that's well and clear. Anoint Hazael and Jehu and Elisha. Cool. But then verse 19 says this: So he departed from there and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen in front of him,Wait, what? He skipped the first two and went straight to Elisha. In fact, Elijah didn't anoint Hazael at all. He never anoints Jehu either. He just anointed one of the three, and totally ignored God's command about the first two guys. And so my question as I read this was: did Elijah sin in this chapter? And if so, why?And what were the ramifications of all this? And if Elijah did sin, then why does God take him on up to heaven in a fiery chariot without dying just a few chapters later? What we're going to find is that Elijah was supposed to learn a lesson in this chapter, and he failed to get it. He was so busy feeling sorry for himself that it went right over his head. But if you listen all the way to the end, we'll answer all those questions I laid out, and maybe you and I can receive what Elijah missed. You'll get all of that today on the God and His Prophets podcast.

The world can feel chaotic, and the topic of the "end times" can be daunting. But what did Jesus really say about it? In this message, Pastor Chris Rieber explores the profound and practical wisdom of Luke 21:5-38. He shows us how Jesus' prophecy, while speaking of future trials, ultimately points to a present hope. This sermon isn't about predicting dates or instilling fear. It's a call to readiness and a reminder of a powerful truth: that even in the midst of uncertainty, we are never alone and the ultimate victory is already secured in Jesus.
Send us a messageIn a commentary written for “Endure” Ministries they write: “As believers, it is important that we learn and study the Names of God as revealed by His Word. In Psalm 9:10, it is written that: “And those who know your name, put their trust in You. For You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.” And while “Jehovah” or “Yahweh” is the most common and important Name for God, there are hundreds more Names for Him in Scripture. Each one describes a particular characteristic or attribute of God. Therefore, they help us to understand more fully His power, wonder, and might. They describe Who He is, what He does, and how He moves in our lives. But most of all, it brings us more fully into worship of Him – the Great I AM – the Mighty and Everlasting God – our Savior, Master, Lord and King!Support the showVisit our website: https://agapelightministries.com/

Over and over again in our passages today, we hear Ezekiel marking time—anchoring every prophecy and vision to the years of Jehoiachin's captivity. Jehoiachin, whose very name means “God will uphold,” is a living reminder in exile that no matter how dark the seasons, God's steadfastness does not waver. The gods of the surrounding nations—Assyria, Egypt, Tyre, and more—have all fallen to the grave, their promises and powers exhausted. But our God? He remains. He is steadfast. He upholds his people even in captivity, even when hope runs thin. In the visions of Ezekiel, we see the futility of depending on earthly strength, on nations that seem mighty for a time but whose pride precedes their downfall. Yet, in the midst of the ruins, God's faithfulness stands out all the brighter. After decades of Jehoiachin's imprisonment in Babylon, even after all appeared lost, God upheld him—granting him favor, restoring his dignity, and seating him at the king's table. God was steadfast, even when there was little to show for it but hope and memory. Revelation reminds us that the kingdoms of this world—those that are now forgotten or in ruins—will finally become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and He will reign forever. This is our anchor. The enduring, unfailing love of God is our foundation, more firm than any earthly throne or power. God will uphold you. He is steadfast in his love and faithfulness. Perhaps you find yourself measuring time by days of hardship. Perhaps, like Jehoiachin, you wonder if your story will ever turn. Remember: God will be faithful to you. He will not forget you in your season of exile. He will lift you from the pit, clothe you in his righteousness, and set you at his table. That's who He is—the Upholder, the Steadfast One. His faithful love endures forever. Let us trust in that steadfast love. Let us remember, as we go through our own trials and waiting, that God will uphold us too. That is the prayer I hold for my own soul. That is the prayer I hold for my family. And that is the prayer that I have for you. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Loving God, you have knit us together in the body of Christ from every nation and tongue. Make us a vessel of your peace today. Make us a vessel of your peace today. Where hatred stirs, let us bear your love. Where wounds run deep, let us be agents of pardon. Where fear grips hearts, may we speak faith. Where sorrow hangs heavy, may we carry joy. Teach us to listen more than we speak. To understand before we are understood. To love. For in surrender we find abundance. In mercy, we discover grace. And in dying, we rise into your life. In the name of Jesus. Amen. And now, as our Lord has taught us, we are bold to pray: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen. This is a recording of a 4 week class Dr. Matt is teaching on the letter of Revelation at The Point (www.gotothepoint.com). What lenses do you read Revelation with? Revelation 1:1The letter of Revelation is the revelation of Jesus Christ, not a revelation of fear and speculation about the the end of the world.Interpretive Assumptions and MistakesAssumption #1: Revelation is primarily about the “end times”.Assumption #2: What Revelation reveals is a chronological roadmap of the future. Assumption #3: Revelation is about us.How to avoid interpretive mistakes…Step 1: Consider the literary contextGenreEpistle (Rev 1:4, 1:11; Rev 2-3)The Bible (and Revelation) was not written to us, but it was written for us. Prophecy (Rev 1:3, Rev 19:10)17% of the time the words “prophecy”, “prophesy”, or “to prophesy” are used, the verses are in the context of a prediction. (Often about judgement events that will come if people don't repent)83% of the time the words “prophecy”, “prophesy”, and “to prophesy” refer to something else besides prediction. Prophecy does 3 things… It reveals: Who God isWhat God desiresWhat God demands from His peopleApocalypse There are 404 verses in Revelation which contain over 800 Old Testament allusions. So, we must understand the Old Testament to interpret Revelation correctly. Apocalyptic genre is like a political cartoon. It is the writing of oppressed people under the foot of the empire. Apocalypses are overtly political and are meant to critique to governments of this world and call God's people to faithful allegiance to the kingdom of God. Step 2: Know the historical context Struggle and Conflict in Revelation: Kingdom of God vs. Kingdom of Satan, Jesus followers vs. unbelieving Jews, Empire vs. The Church, Truth vs. liesTeam Lamb or Team Dragon?Revelation 1Jesus reveals God to us Jesus reveals us to usYou don't just read Revelation, it reads you!Revelation will reveal the God you worship or your cultural assumptions about God. We become like the god(s) we worshipLet Jesus unveil God and His character to us (The Jesus of Revelation shouldn't look different than the Jesus of the gospels or the Sermon on the Mount)7 Churches (Revelation 2-3)Summary:As a letter, Revelation was written to seven real churches, which implies that its message was understandable to its original readers. As an apocalypse, Revelation uses symbolic language to reveal a God's-eye perspective for the encouragement of Christians living in Caesar's empire. And as a prophecy, Revelation warns the churches against idolatry (Rev 2:14–15). This makes sense given how idols and temples peppered the Asian landscape.Revelation encourages Christians to remain faithful in trials (Rev 2:10, 13). It's no wonder that Revelation would include this, as the threat of persecution was constant.Revelation tells the story of how Satan has inspired an evil, beastly kingdom but that one day the Lamb will rescue the world from it (Rev 12–13; 17–22). That such a story is included is not at all surprising given that the message of the idolatrous empire was etched on every official document and ingrained on every temple.Revelation identifies two groups of people who have been marked out as either Lamb people or Beast people (Rev 7; 13–14). This makes perfect sense because, in the first century, there was only one choice: pledge loyalty to either Christ or Caesar.
By William Bradford - As we approach the Feast of Tabernacles, this message reminds us to shift our focus to the prophecies describing the thousand-year period of Christ's reign on this earth, so that we can prepare to be kings and priests in God's Kingdom.
